They called today and left number to call back. I called back and asked who they were and they said, "Kaiser." They immediately started asking me for information. When I stopped them and asked, "what department in Kaiser," they hung up. I live in CA also.

Why did the girl on the recording have an accent?

I am not a member of Kaiser & live in CA, but have a DC #. Yet I've gotten 3 robo-calls from this number in the past 36 hours, all went to my vmail.
When I called back, a recording said "Thank you for calling ?Customer Service? If you've received a statement, please reference the file # above your name... If you're calling about # xxxx or # yyyyyy, press 1."
Highly suspicious.

1) NO Company name on the vmail or ANY other info that might identify WHO they are or WHAT they WANT!
2) Genuine debt collection agencies almost always announce "this is an attempt to collect a debt", usually more than once.
So I don't know WHO these people are, but PLEASE: DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY FINANCIAL INFO, CREDIT CARD #s, OR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
My dad just had his ENTIRE identity stolen and now, even months after his banks and the police have known all about it, the thieves are still out there, trying to set up fake accounts in his name.

Recorded message asking it was my four year old?  How odd, so I pushed the option to talk with some one real and was told no operators where available.  Turns out its kaiser, pushy folks saying I owe them TEN BUCKS, told them I would check with Kaiser an pay them on the spot. was told I can only pay through them.

Received the same call last month - ignored it. Same number calling me multiple times today. Guess they really want their $10!

I'm pretty sure they called me a month or so ago asking for $10...I just had a baby so thought it was a balance for prescriptions I got in the hospital. Turns out I didn't owe anything, but was too busy to look into it. .They just called again now...people suck!

This (800) 597-0830 call me almost everyday for the "$10".
KP told me I never owe  any $. Its very annoying.

I called Kaiser again and was told this time that the number is a business office number so if they are calling you and you are a Kaiser member  it may not be a scam but rather an error in their records.  Just check your own records and don't pay them again if you have paid.

I got a call today.  Recorded woman caller said that I owed money to Kaiser $10.00.  
I know that I do not owe Kaiser any money as I always pay at the time the money is owed.
Beware of this scam!

I just got the same call!!!!

Live agent said I owed money to Kaiser, I'm in California and they said their in Florida. Called my provider and they said this was not true. Caller wanted my info first, they called me!

Number is to Harrington Hospital in Massachusetts.
