This number belongs to ACS Systems Debt Collections. They were doing calls for Mercy Healthcare (for someone who wasn't me...but the bum must have given them my phone number!), but I believe they do collections calls for any number of companies. I called ACS, gave them my number, confirmed I wasn't Joe-Somebody, and they removed me from the file. Unfortunately, if it is you they want, they are like a dog on a bone.

They've called me 3 times today, already. I never answer calls I don't recognize the number to. They need to be stopped, regardless.

I see 800-598-0884 is the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Funny thing though, I've never been to Seattle and I don't recall doing business with a Swedish Medical Center. Weird!

I was left a message that it was a debt collection agency.  On call back no one was available.

I have received several calls from this number, each time it is a recording requesting that I call the # back in regards to an important business matter. I finally called the number back and spoke with an operator and according to the operator both my name and number werent in their system. The operator got quite rude with me and told me there was nothing she could do and said try back later and then hung up on me.

Yeah, it's Swedish Medical Center's Billing Dept. My Ins. company didn't give them complete info. So, they called me for it.

Same as with r123, above, though I have not called it back out of fear that I may be connected to overseas numbers and somehow get charged for long distance phone calls.  I guess I am paranoid after reading articles regarding these matters.

Caller looking for my ex??? I said he wasn't available and he left the message his name is Tyrone??? NO LAST NAME, just Tyrone. Call back this number, it's once again, a Business Matter. This same number had called my dad in the past, we had his attorney return the call and they we're not legit,  when she advised she was his attorney they became very nervous, they couldnt provide any details or acct numbers. Just that it was concerning a bal due they were trying to collect, but fyi they wouldn't put it on his credit if he paid??? He never paid and nothing ever can up on his credit report either way???

As JB mentioned, it's a collection agency. We got calls on a new number we received for our office.  Just call them back, press 0 to talk to a representative, and let them know they have a bad number.  They'll remove it from their database.

Unfortunately, this problem appears to be all too common with cell phone numbers due to people switching providers, etc.

It's a collection agency, ACS - Academy Collection Services, which handles collection efforts from many medical institutions around the country.

I get a call about once a day from 800-598-0884 and it is always a recorded message that starts out "Do not hang up. This is not a solicitation." Well, I always hang up right then because I figure if a real human wants to talk to me they'll just call and not have a machine do it for them.

This caller is annoying as can be.  I have a physical handicap and my cell phone is not always on my person.  I try to hurry to answer, I have bad knees, only to find it is 1-800-598-0884 calling me and when I answer there is no one there.  When I don't answer they leave no message.

This is stalking.  They call at least once a day and sometimes twice.

This number is calling my cell phone and I want to get it stopped.  I think there should be someway to block telemarketers from calling cell phones as well as land lines.
This is not only annoying--it it bothersome and invades my privacy.  I am handicapped and this just really upsets me to receive unsolicited calls.

And I am 100% positive there is no reason for any collection agency to call me---as others have stated this number relates to.

Mine was related to a medical bill.  They are not a bad group and mine in particular does not report to credit agencies.

I believe this is the collection agency for the Municipal courts of Seattle, parking tickets and unpaid traffic tickets, etc.

Got called today and debated whether or not to call back and see if in fact they would remove us from their list like sunskisurf said.  
So I called and spoke with a "Ms. Martinez" who gave me an incorrect name associated with our number.  She said that she would remove our number from the call list.  Will write another entry here if calls continue.

When my husband called to see who called my phone they said they were a trucking company.  Why would a trucking company be calling my phone?

Called them back.  It is a collection agency.  They were looking for somebody with our same last name, but different first name.  they had the wrong name.  Just tell them to remove your number form their list, they'll do it.

Like others says do not hang up not a solication call also have gotten calls from this number and no one is ever on line stayed on line for 15 mintues and never did any one come on. Friend has said is collection agency. but I don't owe anyone anything. I pay for everything as in past credit card got me in trouble. Those were paid off.

I did not get a call, but my daughter received a letter with this number printed on the document that I could see through the window of the envelope. I think it is a collections company in Kent, WA (20819 72nd Ave S, Suite 105, Kent, WA  98032. That is as much prying as I am going to do.
