I get calls from the "Card Center" several times a day.

have been receiving this number on home phone and cell.  They are annoying.  who is this?????

Keep calling my number. I dont have an account with them
My husband does but im not responsible.

These calls are from Merrick Bank Credit Card Collections.

They kept calling me over and over not saying who they were looking for. I figured they were looking for the person who had my number before I had it because every bill collector in America is looking for her. . I finally called today to see who they were looking for. Sure enough it was her.  I told them this was not her number anymore.  They apologized and said they wouldn't call anymore.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM 800 599-2346.  THE CALLER DOES NOT IDENTIFY WHO HE REPRESENTS.  ACTS LIKE HE IS KING. DOES NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH ANY INFO.

Others have said it is Merrick Bank.  I have no credit cards and I have no past due bills so why are they calling me?  I will never answer a call that i do not recognize the number. so they are wasting their time with me. There was one number that kept calling and i answered it and said "Borough Police Department. How may I direct  your call?" That number never called back. But most are just trying to see if you will answer so they can sell your number to some one else who will try to sell you some thing. Being on the Do Not Call list is a big joke. I have turned in over twenty numbers and it is a waste of time.  What is my tax money being used for?

this number shows up as unknown. they call me asking for my husband but leave no messege.

I have been getting calls but these people everyday 2 or 3 times a day for the last couple weeks and I'm getting tired

I have the same experience as others here. It's actually funny as hell. They call me 12 times a day and don't leave a message. LMAO! I stare at the number on my cell phone screen and giggle as it rings because I never answer their call.

I couldn't help but notice this number is the same one being advertised to solicit funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Looking other uses of the number, it makes me question just how much (or little) money actually goes to the Hospital.

If your recieving these calls on a cell phone, use "ebware call blocker app" or any other call blocker app, it works great, but you will just have to delete the messages they leave behind

Merrick Bank - annoying!  They call many times a day, call my friends and family too.

It's Merrick Bank.  I opened an account with them about two years ago.  I have never been late...however one time when I paid on-line apparently it did not go through.  That was the day it was due.  So immediately they slapped a late fee on of $35.  I have only paid what I can each month since them. So now they say I am $19 overdue and keep adding charges and call and call and call.  You can't e-mail them and they do not respond to mail.  When you answer their call they as you wait for an important message...which never arrives.  It's a stupid bank and a very disorganize business.  DON'T EVER GET INVOLVED WITH THEM.  THEY SUCK!!!!

It is Merrick Bank and I have scheduled the payment due to be paid on my pay day.    They call me everyday several times a day until, late evening.
.   If they would look at the record they would see scheduled payments.   The harrassment is unbearable.

I have been getting at least two calls a day on my new cell phone from this # no messages, one call before noon and another before 4.  Tried calling from a landline and could not get anywhere.  Don't have any cards or dealings with the above mentioned company.  Just want the calls to stop!

It's a Card Processing Center, very rude people, they called my office and they asked for someone, when I told them they had the wrong number the guy told me: No, I don't. I said: How do you know? This is a company and we have no one with that name (we have less than 20 people in here and I've been working here for years so I know everyone), then he said he didn't care and that he will keep calling. I was so upset I called back the number and got the message it was a Card Processing Center (never said which bank, just that) and the girl who answer the phone was so rude also, I tried explaining what happened and she didn't want to listen, after a while I got her to check the number and we found out they had the WRONG number!!! so she said she removed the number. We'll see if they keep calling

So after reading your post:  I personally have a credit card with Merrick Bank.  So, does this mean that if I don't pay them back (because of the situation)  that I can't get in trouble by law?  I mean, wouldn't it go on my credit report?

merrick bank blows up my phone! I missed one payment an they wont stop.   I also have received a few other credit cards since merrick, so they sent me a letter that stated this was uncalled for it could wreck my credit it an because I did this they might possibly take away my merrick card. so be it I have other cards just thought it was uncalled for an really don't like being threatened.

WOW these people are supporting Iran and Libya. They might as well be terrorists. I for one would think any money I pay to this bank would actually be supporting Iran and terrorism.  This company has blood on it's hands. 60,000 killed in Mexico alone due to drug thugs and HSBC Bank was doing their money laundering.

Merrick Bank which is part of HSBC Bank. HSBC is the bank that was fined by the US govt $1.9 Billion. They were helping illegal drug gangs launder money.

I sure would not feel bad if I owed them any money after all they might use that money on illegal drug activity and not only will you be helping them it is a sin. HSBC CEO said they were sorry so all you have to do is say you are sorry you can't pay them and all will be fine.

I had two calls from this number today, and although I blocked them I called them back. Merrik Bank. I gave them the number their robo-dialer was using and she removed me from the list. She said it was probably because someone previously had my cell number OR had stated my cell phone number as theirs. She was very nice and friendly. I know it is a pain, but just call them and remove your number.

Had enough!  Just got through with all the political calls, and now these constant endless, no message calls have started.  They need to get a life!

Hi..I will not play into the name calling...but I will tell you that as a business owner I get these calls for current and past employees that I have no control nor knowledge of their financial issues? I have to put my business and clients on hold to take a call from these people who I might add use less than honest means to get me to answer the phone...I'm just saying...
