My call came from a local area code.  He give his number twice.  Once as 800-604-8630 an then 800-605-8630.   Guess he doesn't remember which to give out.

I am now getting called from 800-604-8630 claiming to be Mike Herald and it's urgent I all with a new county law of rate reduction in my county.  They claims it's imperative I call if I am facing foreclosure to save my home.   I get the calls quite frequently.

Mike Harold from Intra County Records called. He states there has been new legislation in my county regarding foreclosure and to call 800-506-3006 to speak to him so he can explain my rights to avoid foreclosure. Caller ID said the call came from 402-982-0851.  If you GOOGLE Intra County Records, you will find this same scammer company calls people about reducing their credit card balances.  Very versatile guy!  How is it these people aren't caught and put in jail???

Mike Harold from Intra County records said that new legislation was passed regarding my lender. Please call to discuss foreclosure options. Um...I am not in foreclosure and my lender is one of the stable banks, thanks. They didn't even take buy out funds.

I got a call at 1:07pm from # 702-520-1405 from IntraCounty Records telling me to call him back about my mortgage modification.  At 2:14pm, the same day, I got another call from the same guy with the same B.S. story, but he called from a diff #.  603-214-3589.  He usually calls several times a week. I am on the do-not-call list, but I guess that doesn't matter. Something should be done.

claims to be from a special division of Intracounty Records.  Indicating that they are able to help people reduce their mortgage payments.

I work odd hours and sleep when I can. I have been woken up By this telemarketing scheme for over a year now. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture. The phone company wants to charge me money to block this caller. The great national "opt-out" obviously doesnt aply to this company. Maybe it is a marketing scheme By ATT to get me to add call blocking to my bill? I may cash in my 401k and devote my time off to finding out where these calls are generated, fly there and cut the feed cable to thier m.p.o.e. Then I can begin my persuit of this Micheal Brass person and explain to him That I am not at all interested in his services while crushing his testicles with my hands and squirting draino up his a** with a turkey baster.

Recvd a call on 1/29/09 from "Michael Brass" about reducing my mortgage without refinancing because the county I reside allows this.  Anyway it sounded like a scam and after reading all of these responses...I think I am right.  I won't be calling them for any type of advice.

I posted on the other board about this.  I get Cory as well credit card debt, same pitch.  press 1, someone did answer on the line with me she said(I think) that she would remove my number,my cell # at that, and hung up on me.  So I called the caller ID back and pressed 1 again and waited for a little bit, talked to some a***ole who answered the phone in a way you couldn't even understand. and I tell him to remove me from their list it's a cell phone. and that little puke does the same exact thing.  says he'll remove me then hangs up.  The thing that I think pisses me off the most about it is, this started the same day that I signed up with ALLTELL.  Never once did I have a solicitation on Verizon

"Cory" called me from this number today. The pitch was pretty much the same.  They wanted me to press one which I did, so I could begin harrassing them.  There was no one on the other end.  With any luck this means their autodialer isn't working quite right, and calls are being made that even when they find a sucker, they don't get the response, but get to pay their vendor a fee.

What happened to just saying "No" and having the telemarketer comply?  That, Your Majesty, is the problem here.

Something is lost in America today, The ability for a person to start his own business for limited amount of capital without any red tape and being bullied by the big guy.
People that complain about phone calls, faxes, mailers are giving way to big business monopolizing their areas of practice.
What happened to just saying "NO" or disposing of any marketing propaganda. There is common technology and cheap devices that eliminate any calls you do not wish to receive.
Our Government Post Office relies on Junk Mail to stay in business....stop whining about the way people market in America, remeber it's part of the beuaty of living in the USA, Everyone has the same opportunity...PLease dont change that by complaining and making laws that hurt the " Little Guy"

The calls I have been getting are from Frank with Intra County Records with a 3.25% mortgage loan and it is imperative that I call. I get these calls at least once a day. The routine is the same but the numnber has changed to 1-800-210-4789.

Left a message on my company cell phone telling me she was from the "County Records Research Department" and that my home qualifies for a Intercounty Home Loan Program with a 1% interest rate.  She also said time was running out on this offer, so please call now.

I called the number and an operator answered with "Credit Services".  I asked her to remove my number and she hung up the phone.

They are also using the phone number "800-663-7213"
I have gotten many calls from them. I am currently bankrupt and will be filing for bankruptcy soon, so right now I am not responding to suspicious calls.

There is one guy that makes good money by suing telemarketers that call after being asked not to call. This guy actuall has gotten several phone lines installed in his house because it's so profitable suing those telemarketers, and the more phone lines he has, the more telemarketers he gets to sue.

I had one company that kept calling me repeatedly, and even after I asked them to stop calling, (asking telemarketers not to call usualy results in more calls, not less). So I decided that I would fix that. So I wrote down the 800 number, and decided that later when I felt like killing some time, I would take care of them. So later I called them, and it would go to the main swichboard recording, and then ring to one of the telemarketers. I would let them give thier quick intro, and then they would ask, "now can I have your name?" I would then respond with "No,,,,, I don't buy from telemarketers,,,,, Telemarketers are people that are just too stupid to get a job." Then I would hang up and redial. I was so funny eventualy after many calls, I had all of the telemarketers upset, making it dificult for them to concentrate on what they were suposed to be doing. It was funny, it would go to the main switchboard recording, and then ring to a telemarketer, that person would see my name on the computer, and then send me back to the main swichboard, and then it would ring to another telemarketer, who would not be paying attention and then would be angry to find out it was me. Finaly the manager picked up and said to me "Would you please stop calling". I said "Well,,, I tell you what,,, You stop calling me,,,, and I'll stop calling you".

They stopped calling me. hehehe

Regarding payments going up on mortgage. I don't own.

Received message on my home voicemail from these people today.  Incoming number used was 214-550-2102.  The claimed that this was in regards to my credit card balances and minimum payments are going up.  Sounded fishy.  Said that I was eligble for "Debt Reduction Allowance Program".  Said that it was "imperative" that I call.  Gave name of Jeffrey Klein (or Cline?)at 800-599-5864.  I have no intention of calling these people.  Not even sure how they got my unpublished number!

This is the voice message left for me at my home phone number...

"My name is Jeffrey Kline and my phone number is 1-800-599-5864 and it is imparitive that you give me a call."

Called 800-599-5864.  Answered with a recorded greeting.  The voice of the greeting sounded like the infamous Jeffrey Kline that left me a message early today.  The greeting said, "You've reached the Inter-County Records CCCS your call will be transfered to the next available agent momentarily.  If you wish to be removed from our lists please press 1.  Otherwise please hold and again your call will be transfered momentarily."

This 800 number is answered by Debt Services, 1621 Apple Ct.  Ottawa, Ontario Canada - K4C1C1.  A lady named Liz there said she is not responsible for the outgoing calls and doesn't know who Jeffery Klein is.  I told her I am on a Do Not Call list in the USA and she asked if I wished to be removed from their list.  I said, yes, but that is not the point.  That their methods are illegal.  

I am currently enjoying calling their 800 number repeatedly as it costs them money each time I do.  I'd say it takes at least a minute to get to a live operator... and that costs them - so please, let's all call them constantly until they get buried in their 800 bills.  It's fun :)

Message indicated it was Jeffrey Kline and I needed to contact him about a debt-reduction plan that I now qualified for.  As this is a business line he called on he is obviously war-dialling in an effort to scam someone.

The Call you getting is scam and your phone Company can do something about it but will not because it is a high pay consumer account. A law in force will not eiher because it is was of time to them. Call your Senator & Congressman or email them consistly with the conplaint and see how fast it gets stop.
