Got a call from Jay of Property Acquisitions Department calling for my deceased grandfather. Do not how he got my cell number as it is not listed anywhere, but he called wanting to talk to my grandfather's heirs about purchasing property that's being foreclosed upon. It's a scam, but obviously using property sales to scam people. He called from 817-263-8207 (Fort Worth, TX), but gave me 209-202-0967 as a return number to call, which is a cell phone in Turlock, CA.

Same here. Call from John Carmen, Cool Car Cold Cash contest coordinator.  Called at 8:21 said we need to call by 9. Sounds very convincing.  number to call was 888-774-2004. Didn't respond.

Mark Young is a busy man. It looks like he has been doing this a while he should retire before someone gets pissed. Don't call Mark Young at 843-485-0302 it is a scam.

How am I doing Mark losing any business?

Someone named "Mark Young" called left a message saying to call back for some alleged entry that we entered into called cool car, cold cash which we never did. It is a scam. It has to do with timeshares. This was from the Myrtle Beach, SC area. Don't return the call.

I got the same call from Mark also.  I decided for grins and giggles to follow the bait.  I arrived at tour center in Murrells Inlet at 9:45 and the tour started around 10:00.  You sit with a representative and they feel out. Then you go to watch a video on Festiva Timeshare and the benefits to the family.  Then you return back to the rep  where they talk about your situation and you will enjoy having a Festiva time share.  They show you the website, a unit  and prices.  Over all I was out by 12:15 so they can get the 12:45 tour.  My prize from the rigged scratch off card was certificate for two nights in Orlando and two nights in Daytona where I will have to do another tour...imagine that.   To boot, I will have to pay $50 where $25 of it is refundable.   yeah...grins and giggles over.

We got one of these calls last week, found out it was for a time-share thing.  just called again about 10 minutes ago, this time no one spoke when I answered, and the line went dead.  We never entered any contest in Murrell's Inlet last year!

Got a call from 817-263-8207 didn't answer phone.  Left a message, could not understand his name but said he was calling from Murrells Inlet and  was the prize winner coordinator.  That I had been selected in the Cool Car Cash.  Said entry was made last year & that my name was drawn last night.  Said for me to call Mark Young at 843-485-0302.  Needed to hear from me by 9:00.  Congratulated me & said have a good day.
First of all I never registered so I know they didn't draw my name.  Second they would not be drawing names after a whole year had past.
There has to be a special place in hell for all these people ripping off other people.

I got a message on my answering machine from a male identifying himself as Mark Young. Said he was in Murrell's Inlet (SC). He said I had to call back by 9PM.....that I had entered a "cool car cold cash" drawing a year ago and my name was picked.

Mark Young was lucky I wasn't home to tell him what I really think about scamming telemarketers and time share salesmen.

i got called by a guy named mark and i thought it was legit until now, i've been trying to call back but i cant leave a message and im getting no response...oh well
he also gave me a local phone number 843-485-0302, this scam must be based outta south carolina

I got a call from Mark Young said my name was drawn last night and I am the winner of the cool car cold cash giveway. He said I entered this contest last year. Told me to call 800-599-9159 by 9pm. I never entered this contest. Must be a scam.

I just received a call from a local guy to call Mark Young  tonight by 9 PMat 800-599-9159 to claim my prize.  He too said I entered this contest last year. Scam!

"Cool car cold cash"  awards claims prize recipient per Mary Nelson.  Must return the call by 9PM.  Of course I thought I'd won something since I'm always signing up or answering surveys from Rite Aid, Wal-Mart and others.  I did call back and left my name on an answering machine...big mistake if this is the scam that it appears to be.  Now they have my real name and valid phone number if they have caller id, but fortunately nothing else.  Don't get "sucked in" to this very apparent telemarketing scheme...like I did!

Mark Young call me on Friday left a message requested me to call him back that same evening before 9:00pm, that he was following up on the price I won from the contest form I filled out last year. My question is if they are genuine with their offer why don't they send me the information in a mail than requesting me to call back? Unless they wanted to figure out what race I belong to from my accent. To me I take it as a bias technique they are practicing.

Apparantly, they are still at it. We got a call from Mark Young and he was looking to speak with someone who has been dead for over 7 years. Yet, they said "He filled out the form, last year".  'Nuff said

Apparently this is all a timeshare scam. Sounds as if they are trying it all over. It's a push to get people into their office for a timeshare speech.

We got the message, too, in Maine. Call by 9. Couldn't understand what his name was.

Call Friday afternoon from "Contest Coordinator" Mary Nelson from "Award Claims" in my town, saying my name pulled this morning for the Cool Car, Cold Cash contest that I entered last year.  She NEEDS to hear from me by 9 p.m.

yep we just got the same message ,mark young was the name.
