Scam. This one is from "Sarah Webster" at "Bank of America" about our "request." Neither applicable. Don't return their calls. It's a scam. We're also getting them from "Wells Fargo Bank Credit Services." Another scam

These calls come from a right-wing PR firm that makes annoying calls on purpose, pretending to represent Democratic and Independent candidates and causes while bothering people intentionally. They rotate through toll-free numbers.

They pretend to represent various (D) and (I) candidates and groups -- and even use fake recorded "endorsements" -- but they don't represent any of them; they're intentionally trying to annoy voters while pretending to be their opposition.

Then they rename their firms, changed their corporate PO Box addresses, etc., and start all over again in the next election cycle. That's why who they claim to be keeps changing.

Corporations and other interests with big money hire firms to makes calls like these all day, so whenever there's an election, you'll get tons of calls pretending to be from opponents of their objectives -- calls that annoy the s*** out of you on purpose. It's an old trick.

NJEA calling for Wayne Township Committee.  First I'm getting sick of calls from the NJEA when its election time.  On top of that I don't live anywhere near Wayne NJ, so why do I care about their local elections.  I really don't like them using our cell phones to get the message out.

I get these calls too. From all the posts here and on other sites I think it is a system that various groups can use to hide their real identities.

when it's answered...they hang up.
seams to be one of those automated calls. they check to see when you answer & later on a real person will probably call to sell you something.

They called, I answered, they disconnected, I called them back, "welcome to the messege center", "press one to be removed", "you will be removed in one business day we are sorry for whatever"

A robo-call from Democratic Ohio Governor Ted Strickland. I don't listen to machines; I hung up.  Probably drumming up some support for the Dem party or some Ohio issue.

An automated system states that they will call me back, even though they have called 3 times in one day.  I called them back and allowed me to be removed from call-list.

RoboCall from PSEA (Pa State Education Assoc) about the PA State Budget stalemate urging members to contact there State Senator

They call me everyday about 4 times a day.  I just don't answer it and it quits ringing before the answering machine kicks in.

After several hangups as well, I finally got them to speak. It was a recording. It's the organization that supports clean energy and therefore supports the cap and trade. They want your support and to add your name to their roster. So if you don't listen to the entire message and quickly press one to hear more, what you actually do is press one to show your support of Obama which means they will continue to solicit you. Press two to be removed.....we shall see if they now stop calling but I was FURIOUS to receive this call as I do not support this legislation nor do I support socialism!

Excuse, please but my English is bad - what means "ignoring calls"?

I have been receiving unauthorized calls from 800 - 601 - 7498. I will be reporting them to the appropriate authorities to further investigate these ignoring calls

Have called twice today, SUNDAY, within one hour and they leave no message. Super annoying. ID says "VM Center"
