we get calls DAILY on our machine from that number.. only a computer-sounding recorded message is left (usaually half way cut-off).. saying please to return a call them back at that 1 number. I refuse to call back a number when I don't even know who the heck it is? Or where it is coming form? But I dunno how to get them to stop..it's almost a daily thing..and annoying as heck!)

I have a charge of $9.15 from this company, and do not even know what or who it is. I have tried calling the number, and it is always out of service. I am disputing the charge on my card.

My experience is the same as Vic above.. $9.15 charged back in August for something I didn't authorize.  Good thing I happened to check my statement!  Luckily my credit card company credited me for it without any fuss.

I got a $9.10 charge on my debit card.  The bank said if the card had been used on-line to purchase anything, that is probably where "Site Services" got the number.  As for the phone number, "This number has not yet been activated..." is the recording I got.  There is a form to fill out to dispute the charge and the bank is sending me a new card.

Same here.  Got tagged for $9.10 back in August.  My bank said they'll help, but I have to go fill out paperwork.  CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS!!  I was never called, just got billed randomly.

I also got a charge from Site Services for $9.15 on my credit card that I didn't authorize.  The credit card company said their records show the charge as computer maintenance / repair.  They said it showed I keyed in my credit card number on-line.  That's a new one.  

I KNOW I didn't authorize anything because the date this happened we had just moved and our computer wasn't even up and running yet.  LOL

Thanks to this site and what I read to the credit card company, they disputed the charge and credited me the $9.15.  Beware!!!  Check your statments!

If it happens again, I'll have my credit card cancelled and reissued.

I also received a charge on my credit card from Site Services (NY) for $9.05 that I didn't authorize.  I'm glad I checked this site.  Thanks to Ken, Jan, and Not Good for confirming that this is not an isolated case.

we keep getting a call from an automated "amanda" and she says, "this is amanda. give me a toll free call at". she's been calling for several months and it's really irritating.

Just rec'd a $9.05 charge against my bank debit card with this number.  The Bank is looking into it.

This is pure BS -- the company site services is billing random credit card numbers for $9.10
I didnt get a call, just a credit card bill which had this number listed.

Mastercard didnt even wait to reverse the credit.

recd call with message left on voice mail to call back. called back and was told by computer voice to hold for the next available operator. called today and their voice mail gave hours of operation but did not state who they were. very unusual.

Been calling for a couple of weeks now, everyday. Tired of it. They dont say anything, I hang up the phone. Sometimes they call up to three times in a few minutes.

Yes, they call me too, all day long. Very annoying at work. They may be trying to reach someone named, Fawad but do not have the last name.

Well, my dad just came up to my room and told me to check this out, he said it was really creepy. A number called him and he said all they said were they were creditors, but he said they had a really funny sounding voice, they hung up after that. Kinda strange huh, so have any of you guys heard back from them since then? This was the first call we got from them.

I too got a charge on my debit for $9.10.  Called the bank and they are reversing the charge and blocking my card.  Now I have to wait to get a new card.  What a pain..........Be on the lookout for anything from this company it's totally bogus, hopefully they will be stopped soon.  How do they get the CC numbers?

I received a phone message at my place of employment from a man at this number )leaving a message to call urgently I did so he was so rude and disrespectful that I hung up. If he were a little bit nicer and understanding we may have worked out something but he was so demeaning that I refuse to deal with him or his company - Avante. They need a lesson in customer service and politeness. As the old saying goes "You can catch more bees with honey than vinegar."

When i answer the phone the person hangs up or the phone just beeps. They call my cell phone about 5 times a day. When i call the number back it tells me that this number had been disconnected. It is getting old and kind of scary.

I, too, have received very nasty calls on my machine from Randy Shumway. He gives no indication of what the "legal" matter is, but comes just short of cussing at me. He is very verbally abusive on my machine. I am saving the messages and I may take legal action against them. He calls when I am at work and I work 14 or more hours a day, Monday through Friday, so I am unable to call them back. I haven't received anything by mail either, so I have no clue why he is so hostile. He may get his butt sued for harrassment if it doesn't stop! J Colorado

These people called tonight asking for someone I don't know. I told them I had only had the number for 2 weeks. They kept asking, very rudely, if I knew this guy. I asked for a supervisor and the guy got nasty. My husband took the phone and gave him you-know-what. Guy gave HIM a load right back. I'm trying to find out who they are. We tried calling back but got nowhere.

This is Merchants Credit Guide Company ( http://www.merchantscreditguide.com/ ). Google their name - there are lots of complaints about them. If they try to collect from you, get some professional advice; they may be trying to collect on a bogus debt that you don't actually owe.

I started getting calles from Riddle and put them on my Phones service "call blocking" I should not get a call from them again, at least from this number. If I get some mail I'll send them my standard "ceise and desist" and "proof of debt" letter and I usually NEVER hear from a debt collector again. Ive delt with at least 10 this way and it works every time. kahill

They have been calling for at least a year, saying that I owe money, but give no details. I've repeatedly asked them to send me the bill, but to no avail. As far as I know, I do not have any unpaid bills. I always pay my bills in a timely manner.

Calls everyday. I answered once and told them to take me off their list. If the call goes to the machine or I answer without saying a word they hang up. So it is a VOX operation that tells and operator that a real person is there. Ever notice you have to say hello twice? These guys have programmed equipment to do their jobs. Basic junk mail on the phone. Give them no information, not even your name. Or answer with "Department of Justice, can I help you".
