Received the call at 11:23 today, April 26, 2007. VM started in mid-sentence, said to call 800-599-5864, that it was imperative. Quote: "and minimize the payments that are going up, and do qualify for debt reduction allowance program." Jeffry Klein, 800-599-5864.

Getting similar calls. They are always recordings. I believe they are always "Jeff" from Intercounty Records. Same message as noted on the previous posts. I am instructed to "press 1".
The caller numbers are:
213-710-8185
408-651-8135
702-520-1131
206-497-6127

1-213-710-8179 will not stop calling me. They are claiming to be a debt reduction company, but all I ever get is a recording.

Rec'vd similar call..."craig" from intercounty records...caller id 562-289-8167, 408-651-8160, 562-288-7191...just got this telephone number so this is obviously an annoying and intrusive marketing scam...

These guys are shady dealers and scammers and if you get a call from them file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.
If the government gets enough complaints from you, we can put these guys out of business.

I have been getting these calls for MONTHS, sometimes many times per day, often at ridiculous hours (6 and 7 am today). I finally decided to do something about it today. After trying to call two different numbers and having real people hang up on me when I tried to inquire about being removed from the call list or how I wound up on it, I decided to do some investigating. You can contact the Federal Trade Commission as well as the Federal Communications Commission to file complaints. Also, be sure to add yourself to the FTC's Do not call list. Don't know if it will do any good yet but maybe if enough people report it we can shut them down!

I have received calls to both of my numbers from multiple "people" with the same basic message like these. Intercounty records, call them back, qualify for debt reduction, etc. I don't have any debt yet. But these calls are beginning to annoy me- i get at least one a week.

i work for an emergency service and a call from a number similar to this one; from inter county records came across our emergency line. This is not the first such call soliciting business. It ties up our line and doesn't allow us to disconnect; which could have the end result of our clients not receiving services necessary for their safety and well being. This is not just annoying-its dangerous. I am doing my best to make our state attorney general aware of this practice and suggest others do the same.

"Frank" just called my cell phone from the InterCounty Records Department, saying it was imperative that I call him right away about some special mortgage rate for my area. The caller ID read 616-980-2418. This number is a Grand Rapids, Michigan number. The number he left is 800-210-4789.
This number is too new to register a search result.

I called Jeffery Klein back at 1800-599-5864 and they "took me off the list". I don't have a credit card!
Dave 2007-04-05 16:03:19 Unknown
This guy left the same message with me on my cel on March 22nd, and since it was 'imperative'that I call him back immediately I called him today.......2 weeks late. Jeez I wonder what the consequences are?
I have not signed up for the do not call list.....but I will.
Ed 2007-04-05 14:50:25 Unknown
He just called me too at 7 am (eastern time). Isn't that illegal?
Then I call his office and it doesn't open until 7am (pacific).
He called a cell phone (illegal) that registered on the do not call list (illegal).
I called them back and they threw a huge attitude at me and then hung up. It is some type of credit counseling service (considering I have 0 credit card debt). Their office is located in ONTARIO CANADA! Here is the new 800 # -- 800.599.5864. I am going to call back and complain to their supervisor and then I'll file a complaint with the FCC. Oh what fun.

Just recieved a call from 702-939-1119 was left a message stating it is imperative to call-sounded like a voice recording did not get a name because it seemed as though he was speaking before my voicemail picked up he left the # 800-599-5864 when you call you get a females voice and then states they will transfer you to the next available caller and this was on my cellphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jill 2007-03-30 16:34:12 Unknown
Called the 800 listed on this site for the number 289.446.1006. It goes to Intercounty Records CCCS which advises you to hold the line and then was transferred to some chick who sounded as if she really enjoyed her YOB. lol. I hung up.
I have a good credit as well, so not sure why they are calling me. Ive gotten calls from the 702 number and the 289 number. The calls are random but usually between 8-9 am est.
I am on the DO NOT CALL registry and have been since it was available to register on. Not sure how they got my cell number or why they are calling me.

Now I found out that the Ottawa Canada place is just an answering and forwarding service to a place in Newport California. The plot thickens.I will continue to search for the truth.
Susan J 2007-03-28 15:20:20 Unknown
This is Jeffrey Klein and my phone number is 800-606-1485 and it is imperitive that you give me a call regarding your credit.
Ralph 2007-03-28 15:11:12 Unknown
I called back to find out what is going on and the first lady I talked to was not too nice, so I called back and found out that they are located in Ottawa Canada. They are just offering help for people that need credit card or debt but the phone call at first sure makes it sound urgent. I also tried to talk to my new friend Jeff Klien and he does'nt even exsist, Hmmmmmmmmm.
