I paid 1000 dollars over 7 months to repay an overdraft fee from us bank. My final payment sent in was on January 17 2012. Today I get another call from creditors on same debt. The company I was paying was eclipse resolutions. Through internet research I see the name has been changed numerous times. Monarch tri financial turning point who ever. No numbers are working to reach them. I need them to confirm that indeed I paid the debt. I have bank statements showing the money being taken. I do not want to repay same debt twice. If there is anyone that could help me or sue if it's a scam I'm all ears. Please help me !!!!!

never heard of fbi responding to complaints againts valid debt! dose the fbi do that now cuz i lent 80$ to my cuzin and he still wont call me back i hope he dont call them on me.i realy hope he dont call them.because i must be a scam if i refuse to send him a letter.im just sick of his stall tactics. last time i sent letter i did not come back as mail return and when i did get him on phone he said he did not get it and askd for another one i said no and the fbi is probly on its way . great all i whantd was my 80$ back

ARE YOU INSANE??? It is the LAW the collectors have to send communication VIA MAIL to collect on a debt.  These people do not do that genius!

I got a harassing call from these people and I called a law office.  If they don't provide proof of the debt in writing, it's a scam.  Report them to the Federal Trade Commission, and when they call again tell them you know they are scammers as they refuse to provide you anything in writing and tell them to stop calling you or you will report them to the FBI

They are real.  My boyfriend works there.  If you have an unpaid debt they have every right to try to collect it.  No you did not borrow money from Prism resolutions, but they now own the account so thats who the money is owed to now.

Well some guy call pretending to be a sever wanting to make sure i didnt have a dog so he could come serve paper not true by the way I was at work the call was on work cell phone and they ask for my 14 year old son and i explain  he was fourteen and the guy on other end got way to upset and call me names not so nice well he hung up well 30 minute later another guy call back claiming to be from some law group talking so fast i couldnt understand him  i explain to him my son is 14 and can havenot possible owe this  debt . Well no it  your husband i then ask him to send debt information he said he would but only have i paid him well i told him i couldnt and i need it or I would not pay this debt and i hung up and then someone call asking for thing like my hubsand birth and social and i told them i dont give that info out over the phone the person made threats i told them i would contact the athority they got ruder and said they would i told them fine go ahead they got even more upset and so i hung up then i was ask by my company ask me to allow a co worker to use my work cell for his on call day and they paid for so i did and they call while he had phone they called told him i owe this money asking for me now not my husband or son but tell him we owe this amount of money and he was from prism resolution & i already paid some amount and  my coworker told him that wasnt possible we didnt have that kind of money. He told this coworker we did because he was looking at our credit report and he told this cowork we had credit line of 30000 and crap like this.the coworker reply not the family i know and we truely donot have that line of credit but the coworker told him he was breaking the law and he said he reply he didnt give a F- - K and continue to try to get info and told my cowork  that i had 30 minute to call him back before he when to authority my co work said well whatever and hung up and they have been calling that phone 30 minute since then.  my company is changing the number for that phone because of it and will not get a new and my hours have been reduce. These company are all one and they dont care who they hurt or whether the debt is really or not because i contact the company they said the original debt with and they confirm noone in my household ever deal with there company and they do not sell there debt they have in house debt collect so this company is one big fraud

Thats not true.Payday loan or any other loan/debt.Nobody can be put in Jail for non-payment of debts.

As per federal law, a collection agency can only contact a said debtor through calls or written letters.

The other action they can take is to sue.Misinformation or the lack of knowledge of one's own rights make people like these in collection agencies take advantage of the consumer.Know your rights, people are more protected by the FDCPA than they know of. company keep calling saying I took a payday loan out online and I know have not even been online for no payday loan and they wont stop calling i still see my old employers and they keep saying people still calling for me there and won't stop. Just a shame

This company has been harassing my sister for months on a debt that is not hers. They originally called my phone because she lives with me. They have all false information for a debt that could not be hers because she was 16 when this so called credit card was opened. They are rude and cannot get any of their information straight. We are filing a police report because they are harassing us on this false debt.

bottom line when you take out a loan there is always interest on them you just cannot pay back the original amount you borrowed!!  if you would have read the contract before signing it you would see that . so no one is to blame but yourself!!! try and get a loan from a bank are they going to ask that you pay back only what you borrowed???  of course not get real people

I answered a call after the phone number had appeared for the past week during which I was severely ill and not responding to any but known friends phone calls and it turned out to be this Prism Resolutions outfit.  They threatened me in regard to an outstanding debt from 2000 with punishments of every type except possibly the taking of my first born child.   I tried to talk with them but was adamantly refused any type of discussion and since I was so ill still yesterday - their final comment and I quote was "I don't care if you die during this phone call so long as you resolve this matter with your dying breath".  This was a first for me.  These people are wackos.  I have never run into one like this!

The question thats needs to be answered is:  Are they paying taxes on all 3 entities?  Can someone check this out?  The need to be paying taxes, workers compensation, payroll taxes etc.  Know this bunch of clowns I bet they are not.  Find out and you will close them up quickly.

THEY CALL THEMSELVES A TEAM when really they are waiting for you to call so that they can beat you up about a debt that has been owed... they cant wait to get you on the phone and increase your balance. I have read all these complaints and noticed all the similarities. Shawn miller does the paralegal work for the company I am guessing, or maybe he just sits there next to you on the phone waiting for a person to actually call in or answer then he lays it on them. I have personally sat in on 2 conversations in the same day with a SHAWN MILLER at turning point resolutions and he said the same things both times  only the second time he was MIKE ROGERS... seriously what kind of business allows this to occur?... they are scum dont pay ...

ALL I HAD TO DO was type the company name and all this BAD review showed up.. I hope everyone getting calls from you sees this. I have already filed AG complaints and BBB complaints. Call me again and watch what happens. He said I lived in a consumer friendly state that protects me rights as an individual that owes money. Then in our second conversation as "mike rogers" he tried playing the same card., same voice, same unintelligent vocabulary.

Prism Resolutions, then, is not a real debt collection company and are scumbags!  I had my HR Manager contact them to tell them that they will send them a check every week for the amount that is supposedly owed (garnishing my wages without involving the court system) and they told her to p****off that they wanted the whole amount that day and if not they will be putting me in court SO that is bull!!

So, what if it was a payday loan that you got in person, not on line, and you signed a little screen like at the grocery stores when you use your credit card? Can they then, have a warrant filed to put you in jail if you don't pay them?

These self proclaimed drug addicts (they admitted drug use on one of the boards) need money.  There is nothing left in North Tonowanda other than drug addicts, con-men, and thieves.  An unauthorized wire tranfer from your account is a felony offense.  This is not an AG issue.  This is an FBI issue.  Contact your local FBI and report this.  When you report this you need to say this recurring.  They will put a stop to it.

no sir actually it is up to you. If you ask an attorney about collection law, it clearly states that the owner of the debt may pursue at any time. If you pd it and your too lazy to send a fax, then u deserve to get sued. Its happen to me personally bc I did the same thing.

Yep, a Mrs. Trudeau called me just now and I told her that I was forced into Bankruptcy and she  said that I signed a contract that I would not file bankruptcy and I told her "Sorry"  had no choice since I lost 45K a year in income and had major surgery.  I found it odd that she waited over a year to contact me.  I had forgotten about this loan during the problems with the US Government Immigration people.  So I guess I will just wait and see what happens.  Trust me, I will be on the phone with my lawyer tomorrow about Prism Resolutions.  They are the rudest most ignorant people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.  She didn't even know when the loan came due.

I received a v/mail from Prism Resolutions.  The guy said I had a judgement against me and my social security number (which just sounded strange).  He said "they" were in persuit of me?  That just sounds stupid!  I could tell it wasn't legit so, I checked the court database and there are no judgements against me.  This is obviously a scam.  Don't give them any of your info.
