They asked for me by name, and when I said, "Speaking", they said, "Sorry, wrong number" and hung up.

They called today and asked for me by first name, but clearly didn't know who they were looking for (my real first name is androgynous; I'm male, but he asked if "she" was there).  He refused to identify himself other than "Richard," and declined to say from where or on whose behalf he was calling.  When pressed for more information he snarled, "I can call back here every single day."

I've been on the do not call list for years, and since he wouldn't say from what company he was calling, I have no reason to believe that he meets the "existing business relationship" criteria, so I reported the call as a violation.

Richard Flores just pulled the same thing on me. I knew he was a telemarketer and I hung up on him when he wouldn't tell me what company he was with. He called me back yelled and me and then told my boss that he was going to give us business but now he won't cuz I was so rude! Almost got me in huge trouble till I *69 the number and looked it up online! This guy is a sick bastard and these people need to be stopped!!!!

I just received at call at our business office (law office) from a Richard Flores from this number.  He of course acted like he knew my boss by name and asked to speak to him.  (What he doesn't remember is that he called a couple of weeks ago and I could hear the "call center" noise in the background, so I knew it was a telemarketer and I hung up at that time.)  

So this time I told him that my boss doesn't accept "sales" calls at his place of business and hung up the phone.  He then called me back immediately, asked me my last name (which I didn't tell him), yelled at me, told me how rude I was and that I had no idea what he wanted and that he was going to file a complaint against me, and so...I hung up the phone again.  He has not called back yet.

And now...I'm filing a online complaint (another one) against him with the National Do Not Call Registry and also either the FTC or FCC (whichever one is is the correct office for harassing and threatening type phone calls).

Has anyone else had this unfortunate situation happen to them yet?

Just got a another call from the infamous "Richard Flores".  Over the last year he's called our office several times using many different tactics - same type of conversation as most of the calls listed above.  But...this time he is using an untraceable "blocked" number so you can't report him to the National Do Not Call Registry.  

During this particular call, he said it was just a "thank you" call for my boss (whom he called by first name, of course) and when I pressed him for information about the name of his company, he said "I'm not with any company", then he got upset and said "OK, I just won't do any more business with you then."  I said OK and hung up.  

We are a small law firm, one attorney, one legal secretary.  If he had ever been our client, I would know him.  It's too bad he's too dumb to figure out that won't work on small businesses with very few employees.  

Good riddance Richard Flores...

I received a call from a man who asked to speak to our company president. I asked him his name and he said "Chris Cobb" then I asked who he was with and after an awkward pause he brilliantly replied ?I?m with myself?.

Any caller that won?t identify where they are calling from is a red flag. When I refused to put him through to anyone in charge he became insanely upset and threatening.

Even if this guy was legitimate...which he was not...why would we choose to do business with someone so angry & foul?

Got a call from this number from 'Chris Cobb'. Really, really rude. Reporting to the FCC as we are on the 'Do Not Call' registry.

Caller was very nasty and hung up when I requested  what Company he was with!
He gave the name of Richard Flores and then said" oh my god must be national security" because I insisted he idetify his company. A real jerk!

Call from 800-613-0891, asking for my husband by name. When I told him he was not available, he hung up immediately.

Me too, didn't get his name, but demanded to talk to my boss, which he asked for by first name.  I asked basic questions, his name, company.  He freaked and demanded my name, which I didn't give.  He said, "You better put me through to him or I'll complain"  I told him he would never get through, ever, so he shouldn't waste his time.  I hung up.

I'm on the "do not  call list", but I got a hang-up call from this number. I called back twice and both times got a recorded message saying, "Thank you for calling our ad line. We'll get back to you.

I own a business and this number keeps calling me, if anyone can help me find out what company this number belongs to, I would appreciate it very much.
