Received phone calls from this number claiming to be related to a Dell Service Contract.  This seems to be another scam related to the phone number 877-899-6051.

These idiots are blowing up my cell phone! Wait till I send them the bill. I have the time and the statement to sue their a..es!
I'm getting it traced tomorrow!

It's Dell calling. I bought a laptop a few months ago, on a budget, and the hard drive crashed on me. Their tech support was of no help and told me to mail my laptop in and they'll just swap out the hard drive. Great troubleshooting, Dell! I told them to mail me the new drive and I'll do it myself (don't trust them.) I got the drive and will be mailing back the dud. I'm sure they're calling to see if I got it. Dell sucks..........my error for bying a $300 laptop and expecting it to not crash in the first few months......

Called three times 9/30/2013 - they leave a message about my warrantee - All this started after I called Dell with a problem many months ago - couldn't understand the English from India.  I asked about getting a call from the USA from someone who spoke American English  - They said it would cost a lot more.  
My original call cost me over $100 and it took many hours and many operators to try to solve it.  Somehow I got a warrantee with my call.  It should expire soon, maybe they will stop calling.  
I don't answer the calls, most of which come when I am not home anyway.

I just got the call from Dell saying I need coverage on my soft ware. . I also got a call from Dell about a month ago from phone no. 1-877-409-3272  wanting to access my computer. I reported this to Dell and they said that this was a false number. I also reported it to the BBB.

I answered, said "hello" three times over 15 seconds, no response. Didn't realize it was DELL (probably about my computer they currently have and are repairing) until I googled the number and found this thread. There should have been no delay in phone systems, as it's being repaired in TX, not India.

WHEN I WANT TO MAKE A PURCHASE--I WILL CALL YOU.  IF YOU ARE SO DESPERATE TO MAKE A SELL-I WOULD NOT TRUST YOUR STABILITY TO PURCHASE FROM DELL.

IN OTHER WORDS FOR THE INDIA ACCENT--DON'T CALL ME AND I WON'T CALL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

KEEPS CALLING AND DOESN'T RESPOND WHEN I PICK UP,   LEAVES V.M. WHICH I DON'T CHECK.

Spam call from DELL

18006249896: This is the Customer Care Number for dell. This is a direct line and you can call them for any assistance.The executives call you once the warranty is over or is about to get over just to make sure that you know about it and extend it so that if there is something wrong with your computer you can get free assistance or else you will have to pay a one time fee for support every time you have a issue with your dell computer.
Also, if you do not want any calls from their team in future you can call back this number ..tell the executive on the line and they will get you off the calling list. :)

Got a call from 1-800-624-9896, ext. 454-2508 indicating my xps requires a check to see if it is working correctly.  Never had this type of call before!  I will not respond.  it's Dells way of selling something, that's for certain!

Is this a scam?? I literally cannot tell...if anyone can get back to me? i dont see this number listed anywhere on the dell website?

This IS DELL WARRANTY DEPT... not a SCAM ... they call me every day to let me know the status of my repair as I do have a Dell Laptop with them for repair.   They have also called me the past when my extended warranty was about to run out.

I called this number trying to get back in touch with Dell support after reporting them to the BBB, instead of tech support I got some dating service phone line. What the hell?

Calls my cellphone every few days and when I answer the phone, just hangs up. These bastards from DELL are costing me lots of cell phone minutes.

I received a call from that number with "NOT PROVIDED" for a name.  They said they were from Dell's Warranty Dept.  To answer the third question they asked me before I hung up on them: I told the caller that the question was none of her was f???ki* business.

I then called Dell's Customer Service Dept. at their actual number, as I own several Dell PC's (as well as shares of Dell securities) and gave them the 800 number that the "spam-type" calls were coming from.

The girl told me that that number is their warranty Dept.

So she thinks.  Apparently someone bought a bill of goods there and Dell's own people think the calls are legitamate.

Not only that, but even the 800 number on Dell's web site needs to be updated.  They have been advised.  Let's keep those complaints coming everytime we get a bogus call and let's see what happens.

i receive a call once a day about 9:15am it on for just a second then hangs up before i can answer,  call back thru the tree and usually you get a guy from India,  no body knows anything.  How do you stop it?

Called once, didn't leave msg.  Called 2nd time and I answered it.  It was Dell saying that my one year proctection plan was ending and asked if I wanted to purchase extended warranty for 5 years.  I said "no" and haven't heard back from them.

dell, you can call dell in pakistan or the phillipines for free but if you want to talk to someone who is american without an accent you have to pay for them to connect you to nashville tennesse, are you kidding me...............?????????????

Got a message from this number regarding a computer purchased in 2009 by a Jose guy.  The lady claimed to be an account auditor.  I don't even have a Dell computer and Jose guy had left in 2006.
