I keep getting these faxes advertising "CABO All-Inclusive". Its a travel junk fax and I don't trust calling the removal number. There is no name of the company but a number to call to reserve and the removal number.

This is a scam!!!! Do not use it for anything.  I kept getting the damn cancun crap and kept calling them till they got used to my voice and hang up on me.  I get this new CABO crap now and it is the same people.  I have a new cell # now and they will get full inboxes to listen to in the morning.  Lead them on and the ammount changes from 322 to over 500 in no time and they do not waste time in asking for a credit card number.  Also they have ANI  and threat to turn you in saying you were threatening to bomb them LMAO at those dumbasses, well I never had the police come to my office so I am calling the BS flag on them.  It is like this they threaten me like that and cant follow through well the fax spammer is afraid to go to the police to reveal themselves because of their fraud.

Have your fax machine continuously try to call the phone number.  It will drive them nuts.

I swear, I received a fax from them 4 times today. I'm half-tempted to do what Ross said and fax-spam their phone line. It would be a most interesting way to tell them to leave us the /$%"/$ alone. :)

I received an anonymous junk fax naming 800-679-7531 as the number to call for cheap tickets to Mexico and 800-630-0322 as the number to unsubscribe. When I called to ask the name of the company I was falsely given the name of a major travel company and hung up on (I contacted that travel companies legal department). When I called to book a vacation package I was led to the web site CancunOnSale.com, and when I hung up on them they called back (caller unknown) and left 800-670-3480 as the callback number. They also use the number 800-679-1226. They always anser with "Reservations may I help you?". Their web site whois information is privacy protected.

Fax Machine
Unsolicited fax advertisement that I have formally reported to FCC. I recommend that more of us do that.
I keep a form on my desk and fax it off to the FCC everytime I get an unsolicited fax.  It takes a few minutes but I feel it may be worth it especially if the FCC got these in mass from all of us who suffer with this waste of paper and time.

The FCC can issue warning citations and impose fines against companies violating or suspected of violating the junk fax rules, but does not award individual damages. If you have received a fax advertisement from someone who does not have an EBR with you or to whom you have not provided prior express permission to send fax advertisements, you can file a complaint with the FCC. You can file your complaint by completing the FCC?s on-line complaint Form 1088 at: www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html; e-mailing fccinfo@fcc.gov; calling 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY; faxing 1-866-418-0232; or writing to:

Federal Communications Commission
Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau

claiming it was a memo from a travel agency  with reduced Employee Holiday Vacation packages... the number to reply to is 1-800-679-7169  I google searched this number to find out it was a hoax.  Don't be fooled.
