Dear TigerLily:

Please help us!  My company is the victim of a practice known as "Caller ID Spoofing".  The people that called you are a group of criminals and thieves that have stolen a great deal of money mostly from elderly couples and low income families by using a credit card scam technique.

They are using my customer service number as their caller ID.  I have been working with the Los Angeles division of the FBI for the past two weeks on this case.  I want to catch these people and put them behind bars where they belong.

They have never called me, so I can not put a trace on the real identity of the caller.  But you can help a lot of people by doing the following:  call your phone company and give them the date and time of the recorded message that you received.  Ask your phone company to give you the actual inbound number that this call was made from.

I have all the facts on this fraud company.  The last piece of evidence that the Federal Agents need is the actual inbound number.  I can't get it because I have never received this recorded message.  But you have, and you can find the evidence that will close this case.

You can post the number on this blog, or reply to my email.  I will give you the name and phone number of the Federal Agent on this case so you can tell him personally.

You can help a lot of people from getting ripped off.  Please contribute a little bit of your time, contact your phone company and get the actual inbound number, you will be doing a good deed and putting a gang of criminals behind bars where they belong.

Thank You

Lauren

received a call on my cell phone with recorded message saying that my debit card had been de-activated and to reinstate it  press 1, or I would be redirected to the credit dept. I hung up immediately.
