Called asked to speak to me then just hung up on me

Called but did not leave message.  I believe they have called me before and I've requested they put me on their "do not call" list.  When I try and call back it is always busy.

call me say that i was picked as comunnity leader and have a arrest warrn on me , and i need to do comunity sevice for one hour and i have a bail bond on me that i need to raise $1600 for the charity.BUT  on my called ID the phone NO. is a local NO. 9372961160 so i call that NO. it was a resident, i thank it attach to a resident line.

Called and wouldn't leave message.  I am on a Do Not Call List.

Said Hello caller hung up

Caller said she was with Children's Wish Network.  Asked me to donate money.  Five minutes later another person called me back to verify my name and address.  ???  Anyhow, I did not answer the call after the first time.  They have called back a zillion times.  Very annoying.

I picked up, said hello. I heard voices in the background, as if it were in a public place. They hung up.

my previous note left of that is was an 800 632 2857 number. my finger slipped and listed it as 8--

called me today at 9am saying they are with the Breast Cancer Foundation and wanted to ask me to donate. verified my mailing address and hung up. i didn't offer anything but they did have the correct information. a minute later another woman called to VERIFY the previous call. i asked WHY she would do that. she read out the address, said thanks and hung up. all nice and cordial. no issues. but if it's a credit type call it sure is sneaky.

They called today and when I answered the phone, they hung up.  I called the number back and it was answered by a live person who said they were some kind of fundraising service, didn't catch the name.

800-632-2857 is calling for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. Nonprofit but they don't usually leave a message.  They usually call everyday until they get a live person.

Called and asked for my brother and when I said he was not here, she asked for his wife. Then she said she would call back later. Did not tell me what it was all about.

Called, left no message. I guess we don't have any business to conduct, then, DO we??

They called me and asked for my dad who has never lived here. I told them they had the wrong number. I called back and when they answered they did not mention a company name just said "Customer service operator #36. my name is Carol. How may I help you". I called twice and the same operator answered.

They called.  I picked up and said hello on the chance the call might be work-related, as I work from home.  They hung up after I answered.  I am on the do-not-call list.

This number called me and I was hot as fish grease on a Sunday after church. I called back just to get a constant ringing. I am going to try them again soon.

They called - twice within 4 hours. Both times I picked up and hung up. We don't answer toll free number.

I've learned the do not call list is a farce.Does anyone monitor the complaints they receive? know one has ever gotten back with my complaint entries.

Called at lunch time today.  Did not answer, did not leave a message.
And for those that keep saying that they are on the "Do Not Call" list......the "Do Not Call" list does NOT cover charities, political associations, or attempts to collect on a debt.  It only covers those trying to solicit business.

I just don't answer toll free numbers.  I am on the National and State "Do Not Call" registries.  Both on my home and cell phone numbers.

These bozos keep calling. I don't answer, am on the do not call list and never answer a call from an 800 number.

IN THE PAST 29 DAYS I HAVE RECEIVED EIGHT (8) CALLS FROM THIS 800 NUMBER AS MANY OF YOU DO I DO NOT PICK UP WHEN 800 NUMBERS ARE IDENTIFIED.  I ALSO PAID TO BE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, HOWEVER, I GUESS ONLY HONEST PEOPLE COMPLY WITH THE LAWS.  I WILL CONTINUE TO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS. AND I GUESS A FORMAL COMPLAINT TO THE STATES DEPT. THAT CHARGES SO THAT I MAY BE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
