Ignore these calls. They are complete SullBhit. BofA will mail you out an official letter describing any changes in advance, usually 90 days in advance with a number for YOU to call if you have any questions. Just ignore everyone who calls you, let your voice mail receive the call and just talk to the people you WANT to talk to. Solid advice.

Had gotten call last week from 809-638-7783.  I didn't answer and message from Denise to call her.  I googled number and find this site. She called again today.  I told her to remove my name and number from her call list that I knew this was a scam.  She assured me that it wasn't and that BOA was working on getting it fixed that the number didn't come up that way. She then told me to call BOA or my local banking center and they could identify her in their employee directory.  She gave me her CAI number which she said is like her employee ID and assured me the 800-638-7783 number is on her business cards.  She also said I could call her back at 877-256-5875 after I checked and found her to be an actual employee. I have emailed BOA.

I just got a call from 1-800-669-6607.  He claimed be calling from Bank of America for a courtesy call. He asked for my birthday and verification of property address.  When he stated that I could call back I said I couldn't verify that the number he gave would even legit and that I would call customer service from the verified B of A website.  After calling, B of A confirmed that NO calls were made to me this year and that there is a record on their computer every time I am called.  B of A also said they will never ask for your birthdate and that if they have a matter to discuss to call the number our bill so we know we are talking to someone legitimate!  Don't fall for the scam!

Received a call from "Cody" regarding my Bank of America Home Loan.  Instead of calling the number provided in the voicemail I called the BofA number on my account statement.  I spoke with a representative that said she did not see any reason why I would receive a phone call and their were no notes on my account indicating that someone from BofA contacted me or asked me to leave a message.  I will IGNORE any future calls.

got a call from 877-256-5875 identifying himself as "cody from bank of america home loan servicing". I tried to contact this person multiple times but kept getting voice mail AND message to call 800-638-7783 "where one of my associates will be happy to help you". I called the 800 number and it told me to either hold on the line or dial the person's extension. When I held on, I got disconnected.
Totally bogus numbers. Do NOT give out personal information to these numbers!

I just got the same call.  A guy named Tony saying it wasn't a sales call, but I should call him immediately.  While I have a HELOC with BoA, I am current with it and have never had a problem with it.  I will not call back and see if they call again.

Just received a call at work from a person who said they were Latoya from Bank of America.  Was researching the number and found this list at the same time I was calling back.  Stopped myself from answering a single question.  Thank you.

Got a call from James, claiming to be from Bank of America. Asked to verify my address. When I told him I wouldn't he said to keep an eye out for the mail. And hung up.

I got a call on my work phone from a lady named Karen whom said it wasn't a sales call and that she needed to talk to me about a loan of mine.  I didn't give her and wouldn't give her any of my information so she gave me a Common Associate Identifier and said I could call my local branch to confirm her employment, which my local branch said was untrue.

Got a call at work saying he was a rep from BofA. He said it was regarding my home loan and it was a courtesy call. He asked me to verify my address. He said if I wasn't comfortable with sharing my information I can call back and he gave me his call back number and 7 digit extension.

Seemed weird. As with all the other comments BofA shouldn't be calling you asking for your personal info... This is the number he gave me (277)256-5875. Googled it and nothing came up.

Caller ID showed this 800 number, caller identified as "Bank of America."

Literally had to rip the phone out of my elderly father's hands while he was giving them birth year. I do not know *who* these people are, but they seem to be targeting the over 70 elderly and "verifying" personal information.

BoA should have this info already if you do business with them. And yes, we've been on the Nat'l 'Do not call' list *and* told BoA we don't need calls. You've been warned.

got a call from a rep saying she is from Bank of America calling re my line of credit that I haven't used and wanted personal information to verify she was speaking with the right person.  I never give out personal info even date of birth!!  If you give the last four digit of social security number and date of birth it's way too easy for the to run just the 2 digit numbers in the middle to come up with your true ss #.   You should always be the person to initiate the phone call not the other way around.
