I recommend filing a fraud dispute with your bank or CC holder and also filing reports with the FTC & CFB..

I just got a call from this number as well and a woman left a message. She sounded like she was home sleeping. Not sure if I will call her back at the number she gave me or call sprint directly. Money is Kinda tight right now so I paid a few months in advance and the woman wanted to make sure I did this on purpose.

I called the number and talked to customer service. Since I was a previous Sprint customer they were calling me. I asked to be put on Sprint's no call list. The representative said that it would take 24 hours to go into effect. I hope it works.

I've never been with Sprint. I have no idea why they were calling me but I hung up on them then looked it up.

Geraldine no one can make arrangements for you here. You need to contact them personally (sprint/nextel) 800notes is for reporting who calls you and why so others know if its real or a scam/fraud phone call or just who it is that calls.
And a word to the wise, be careful of the scam op calls..

You all need to file complaints with the proper agency's, The FTC and FCC would be top priority on this.

You might also consider contacting your states attorney general as well as your states PUC to file complaints also.

Can you please take at look at these complaints's and "order for service." These people are complaining about evidence of fraudulent activities involving money and payments. Location services might help.

I did not receive a phone call. My credit card was charged with this number (online, mail or telephone transaction) and Sprint Wireless, KS, USA shown as the description. I was charged for the exact amount of a phone case that I purchased and returned at a local (IN) Sprint store. I have three transactions, two locally showing a purchase and refund. This third transaction occurred two days after my refund. I would be careful dealing with this number.

We recently changed our supplier from Spring to Verizon. I received a phone call on my cell listed (restricted) which I have never received before. The caller told me he had a refund check or credit to my account due to an overcharge to our previous account with Spring. He just needed to verify my information. I said I want a call back number from you. He gave me the number 1-800-639-6111. So I confirmed our company name and address, then he asked for our secret question, I said I am not giving that out. He said ok, what is the last four of your account number. I said, I will call you back before I answer any questions regarding the account. Of course I called back and it is a non working number.

Sprint customer service (800)-636-6111

Never got a call from this number but did get a $329 credit card charge from SPRINT *WIRELESS 800-639-6111 KS. I have never had a Sprint account for any service. I called and asked what the charge was about. The lady I got at the service center asked for my Sprint account number. I told her I didn't have any Sprint accounts. She told me she couldn't looking it up without my account number. I then spoke to a supervisor who asked if I would give them my SSN that he could check it this way. I said no that my bank;s fraud department would be contacting their fraud department. My Bank, USAA, caught the charge as soon as it hit my credit card and frozen the card. They cancelled the card and mailed me a new one and the $329 was never charged to my card. Since I never had a Sprint card and the charge was on my credit card I have to believe it was someone who had my credit card number and tried to charge their Sprint phone bill with my card. I'm awaiting the results of the USAA investigation after signing an affidavit that I never authorized the charge. Hopefully they will catch the individual. .

Was charged $53.00 to my bank account with the 800-639-6111. I'm a sprint customer, but this charge doesn't show up on my account. I had to block my card, and may possibly have to open a new account. So MAD!!

Tried to call 1-866-297-7970 to find out what was left on my Prepaid Amex card and was intercepted by this phone number. The girl tried telling me that Sprint intercepted the call to that number. The Prepaid Amex card could not be reloaded and the funds were still on the prepaid card.
I don't believe this is a Sprint phone number as they are a reputable company who would call you from their SPRINT phone number.
The people who answer this phone are from East Texas, and West Texas. This is not the Verizon's phone number, This is not the AT&T's phone number. This is someone who first called themselves, Sprint, then called themselves Mastercard and then called themselves Visa. They are a bogus Debt collection agency operating out of East and West Texas. The girl was from East Texas, with no last name, and the male voice was from East Texas, with no last name. They will not give their last names, they only want to give you their employee numbers at the end of their names, but are asking for passwords, bank account numbers and are posing as SPRINT, and the above named companies. Again, when I told them I was going to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Office, they assumed I was going to sue Sprint. It ended up in an argument and I did respond by telling them Sprint sent me the bill, I paid it at the billing address, not in TEXAS. AND I DO NOT DO INFORMATION SHARING. NEITHER DO YOUR BANKS.ARE THEY TELECHECKS. TELECHECKS HAS A WAY OF DOING THAT IN THEIR CHARTER. THAT"S FOR YOU TO INVESTIGATE. THEY MIGHT ALSO BE TIED INTO TOLL FREE CABLE, which also needs an investigation.
They are trying to tell people their checks bounced from their banks, and when asked for copies of canceled check they put me on hold and said they were going to speak to their supervisor and then left me on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. They are compromising their own lives and jobs, by saying they are representing Sprint. When I told them that I sent no payment to Texas, but to Illinois... they hung up.
You are welcome to send this phone number to your department of Justice to verify their phone number, and it it is a finance department of Spring they need to have their phone saying such a thing and their location identified. As sprint does location services and usually when you get a call it says where it is from.

I had the same thing happening to me. I'm from Singapore, and have never used their services! The bank has cancelled the card used and currently put the charges on hold.

Someone from this phone number used my debit card number for some unknown purchases. My bank called to ask if these were charges I had authorized> I said they were not. Thankfully my bank creditted back these fraudulent charges so no harm was done. It could have been a disaster as over $3500 in charges were attempted. How is it possible this phone number could be used to fraud an unsuspecting consumer? Meanwhile as a victim I am without my debit card since my bank put a hold on it. Whoever is responsible for this must be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
