Just got a fax from Corp Travel Depot, call back number is 1-800-593-5362
talked to Tanya and Dan.
After several minutes and repeated requests for an escort, and asking Dan what he was wearing, He transferred me back to Tanya, and was sure she could help me more.
This provided me with much entertainment, and i'm sure annoyed Dan.

Feel free to call and keep asking for escorts, or just the generic hooker.

Funny stuff. and for only $99.00 a person!!
Wonder if they have group rates?!? lol

I am glad to see that most of you are just annoyed and not falling for this scam. To me it is no more obvious then the email with a subject heading "You have one 1 Million U.S. Dollars."

1. TRUST your gut, instinct and the good old saying "if it is too good to be true, it probably is!" So far there has NEVER been something presented to me that "sounded too good to be true," and WAS true. All of them (MLM's, Vacation Scams etc.) have always turned out to have a catch or was a scam.
2. I am NOT going to send myself nor any of my family members on a trip INSIDE or OUTSIDE of our country from a person I am not sitting FACE TO FACE with! Don't get me wrong, I have been around the globe and experienced MANY wonderful places, people and trips. They have all been well worth their cost... but no trip (except in the car, maybe train...) is $99.00. Even when you utilize the fantastic prices like 69.00* one way to Las Vegas on reputable companies like Southwest Air (the one way ticket still ends up costing around $100.00) after all the fees and surcharges.
3. Do your research but don't be a fool. Honestly, do you think that a travel agent in Florida is going to get you a better price than the travel agent down the street? Sorry it just doesn't work that way. Companies like cruise lines and theme parks and industries like travel agents use systems (computer programs) to log their deals and rates so ALL the travel agents have access to them. Yes, there are better more experienced etc. travel agents over others... but do not waste your time with a travel agent out of state i.e. not face to face thinking it will get you a better deal. Personally I have ALWAYS found working with my travel agent face to face gets me the best deals in town. Because yes I do my research (find out first what it would cost me on my own) then I call my agent and set up an appointment. Never same day or walk in as you want them to have time to research for your trip. Then after booking my trip I will shop around more. I have never found a better deal on my own!

Last... I worked in the hotel industry. (Okay so I lied above, that was the best deal ever on hotel rooms hands down, $30.00 for hotel in Maui-Outrigger?) regardless when a person decides to become a travel agent they must pass courses (to get licensed) and then typically training (for their company) and on top of that typically need to know the lay of the lands they typically book! When they become an official Travel Agent they are given a number similar to a Tax ID, SS, License number called an IATA number. When you book a trip and stay at a hotel that the Agent booked... the hotel pays that travel agent a commission. That commission is tracked and checked, logged etc. via their IATA number. Without an IATA number they are NOT a certified travel agent and are most likely scamming you.

Just like being BARR certified, their can be bad seeds in the plot ruining it for everyone else... but really if you are booking a trip and decide to ignor your gut (but why?) then ASK for their IATA number if for no other reason then to verify they have one! Tell them you were badly burned by a fake agent and you were told that this was the best way to verify they are legit.

I am quite sure you ask these guys for their number and they probably will tell you it is a secret, we aren't allowed to give it out etc. and all that just isn't true. No, don't expect any travel agent to write their number down for you and say have a great day... but they may refrence it for you or show you their license when you do ask. Use it more as an indicater that you don't trust them and they now need to prove their worthiness of your being their PAID client.

Sorry some of you have fallen for this. Perhaps if you had just done the smart thing to begin with, you wouldn't be stuck fighting for your money back. IE (any and all the steps above)

Yes we have taken a trip to cancun and it was great....but the fly away program that they gave us for taking the first trip has been horrible...Great Time Vacations is different than the fly away program that offers the free plane ticket and room to several choices and they ...as in the fly away program are horrible.  We have been trying to get our vouchers since May!  I call back to Great Time Vacations and they give us nothing but offer us another trip to compensate!!!  This is so so frustrating as we went on our 90 minute tour in cancun to get this stuff!!!
I am dealing with Cynthia in the fly away program and it is awful!!!  She is rude and says she cant let me talk to her boss.  I dont know what to do???

We should really just fax on paper that has lots of ink, or even a black sheet of paper--it will use their toner up much more quickly, which will cost them more in the long run.

They may also use the name Coro Travel Depot. I received a fax with the same offer. 4 day 3 night Bahamas cruise, 3 day resort stay choice of Puerto Vallarta, Las Vagas or Honolulu Hawaii. With free airfare included. All for $99.00 per person. The phone number is 1-800-593-5362 based in Florida. If it sounds to good to be true its most likely a scam.

Odd...I got a call from these guys this morning.  I do not answer ANY number I don't recognize, and there is usually no voice mail.  This time, there was a voice mail left, which stated that they had rented out my timeshare for $3600.00, and I should call 719-313-5911 to verify!!?  I DO have a timeshare, but did NOT authorize anyone to rent on my behalf...Looked up the 719 number, appears to be a scam...the difference is that the caller ID number was 800-640-9891 this time. Did not return the call!

Why can't the law f'up's trace where the credit card deposits go to? There has to be an account that their merchant services deposit the money they scam from people.  I knew better than to call these fools or the law enforcement they are fools too and my time is worth something. Wow - I almost fell for this scam.  Had it not been for the fact that I lost the fax that had their toll-free # on it I probably would have.

Earlier this week I picked up a promotional "$99 per person Orlando, etc." fax that was laying on a desk at work.  It had an 11/19/09 fax date at the top.  I noticed the "Corporate Travel" at the top of the fax.  I assumed that it was my company who was offering this. Since that was over a month ago I figured that the first 50 people had already grabbed up such a great offer.  I called them anyway.

I must say they certainly have their scam tweaked pretty well.  When I called the person said the travel agent was busy and if I'd leave them my # someone would call me right back.  That was yesterday.

Today they finally called me back.  When I explained that I was interested in the $99 promotion she said that it was limited to the first 50 people and probably had already sold out but she would check with the main office.  A long pause and she came back and said she left voice mail with someone to ask about this and she expected they would contact her any minute.

While she was waiting she explained all the details of how the vacations worked and mentioned that there would be a 90-minute sales presentation during our visit. No problem, I thought.  I've sat through those before.

Okay, she says the other person is calling her back and to please hold.  After 30 seconds or so she pops back on and says I'm in luck and that two of the 50 people who had booked the promotion were not approved because of credit card problems.  I could have one of the slots if I wanted it.  Cool!

The only reasons I did not give her my CC info right then are:

1. I do not give my CC # out over a wireless phone.
2. I wanted to discuss the details with my wife first.

After I got home and got the "Wow - go for it" from my wife I could not find the fax with the toll-free # to call the lady back.  I called my company's travel service, who I thought had sent it, and explained the promotion and that the lady said her name was Lea at extension 1408.  No one there knew anything about it or anyone named Lea.  I thought that was a bit unusual.  Also, the # that she had called me from said "private" when I looked it up to call back. Why would a travel agency block their phone #?

I still had not caught on that it was a scam so I then did a Google search to try and find this phone # so I could call this Lea person back.  I think I searched for "$99 corporate travel Orlando" and one of the listings brought me here, where I first learned of the scam.

Again, WOW. I almost fell for this.  I cannot believe that these people can continually get away with this BS and that the FCC or any other authority cannot or will not do anything about it.

I have been getting these faxes for well over a year . . .dutifully filled in the FCC complaint form to no ac=vail.  As a matter of course, when I receive on, I call, (phone on mute) and listen to the agrevation on tyheir side.  Do this about 5 times per fax.  If EVERYONE would do this, it would end this nonsense.

Thanks to everyone on here!  I recieved this fax today and of course I feel for it because a guy in the office next to me goes on vacation every year through these compnays that sends out faxes, so I thought nothing of it.  I listened to what they had to say and they were really nice and not pushy at all.  I told them I had to think about it and they gave me this number 1-800-593-5362 and ask for ext. 209 his name is Dan.  They said they would hold my package for 30 minutes only to make sure I call back either way.  Thankfully I looked on here thank you all for saving my family and I 319.00.  It's sad that they pray on families who might not have enough money for a great family vacation and get there hopes up thinking maybe just maybe it's there lucky day!  I hope they so call vacation experts are able to sleep at night knowing what they are doing to hardworking people!

Well...this is what happened to us.  I received a fax at my work for the same type of deal about a year and a half ago.  5 days 4 nights Orlando, 3days 2 night Ft. Lauderdale, 4 days 3 nights Bahamas cruise, 3 days 2 nights Hawaii (this one included airfare) from Great Time Vacations.  I have taken the Ft. Lauderdale/Bahamas cruise trip and did not have a single problem with anything.

Now I tried to cash in on the Hawaii trip and the problems started.  I was directed to talk to the Fly Away department who has supposidly nothing to with Great Time Vacations.  I contacted them, they gave me their e-mail to fill out a form and sent them my processing fee  The name on the e-mail was Bryan Verif. This was in March of this year.  It was supposed to take 8 weeks to get my vacation package in the mail.  Well July came and went and still no package so I tried e-mailing them again with no response.  I finally got a hold of the infamous 800 number:  1-800-640-9891.  I called and was told that I needed to talk to Cynthia from the Fly away department.  Funny thing is that Cynthia is usually always on the other line or not in the office when I call or has left for the day which is 3pm EST.
After finally getting a hold of her, she said that my package would be in the mail that Friday.  Two weeks later I finally reached her, and she said that something had gone wrong with their shipping dept and they were going to send it out immediately 10/31 and she even gave me a tracking number.  Thought we were finally getting somewhere.  Looked up the tracking number every day and no item was ever recorded.  Resorted to having my Fiance start calling them today.  Was told the Tanya Rosedale was the manager and after being on hold several times and being told that he would get a call back, my fiance SNAPPED.  He called back and all of a sudden got a hold of Cynthia who know claimed she was the manager of the whole company.  This is a F@%#%# joke!!!  My fiance tore her a new one, but after reading this blog, even if we get our package now, I don't want to do ANY business with this so called wannabe company.

I seriously think we should all ban together for a class action law suit.

Here are all the ways to get ahold of these A-HOLES!!!!
