They called my cell but left no message on voicemail. Called back and it's a scam. Bunch of total BS about how these rich people are looking to connect with me to make me rich. Sales scam. Don't even both calling this number. Reporting to AG.

I'm not sure who this company is but when I answer they hang up.

Walmart credit services is who it is.

This is for GE Capital Money Bank.  I got a little behind on my monthly payments so Wal-Mart forwarded the past due amount to this agency.  They are only trying to collect on the past due amount, not the entire balance of the credit card (at least in my case).  I avoided them for about a month, because I was out of work and knew I couldn't pay anything and didn't know when I would be able to.  However, after getting back to work, I answered their call.  They seemed a bit slow, and the call took forever (seriously like 30 minutes).  They were very understanding of my situation and gave me low payment options to catch me up on the past due amount.

the recording stated the phone number has either beeen changed, disconnected or I have the wron number. Then the recording stops and repeats. no alternate number given. Ridiculous. Never stated the company or gave any infomation. I was never prompted to enter information of any kind.

Its Walmart Services for late payments.

I literally just changed my phone number day before yesterday to try to stop all these robo calls, whether they are telemarketers, opinion polls or political weasels wanting me to vote for them.  These stupid wal mart calls started yesterday morning.  Sheesh!  
I followed the instructions posted by The Collection Agent Cruncher.  I finally got a human on the line, who just answered "hello", like it was his house phone or something.  Not "Welcome to Walmart how may I help you?" or any other courteous response.  Of course it was some Indian dude.  Named Kevin.  Of course.  Well, he had my phone number but it was listed with another name.  I repeatedly asked him to remove the number from their lists and never to call here again.  We'll see.

If you look on your walmart bill it states at the top that you can "call 1-800-641-4526 to pay by phone" so if ya called walmart and they said it is not their service then obviously you were lied to by walmart.

Walmart has contacted a work number to check on employees.  We said no.

I work in a law department of a company.  Walmart called me but did not leave a number.  I assume the receptionist in HR transferred an overly persistent debt collector.  (They do this frequently.) I called the 800 number and it was Walmart's credit services.  I spent a few minutes navigating their voicemail "tree" to no avail.

Same - scammer number keeps calling me also.

To anyone that gets calls from numbers they either don't recognize or a call that seems odd.  The first step - write down the time and day of the call.  when you reach three.  Go to www.ftc.gov and file a complaint - they do respond and it can take over 3 weeks.  I am going to start logging this number as part of another compliant to FTC.  The report/complaint only takes a few minutes to do - the satisfaction - know that the calls from them will end.  The FTC will notify you if there's compensation and what you will need to do to file for it.

Same here. I suppose it is related to Wal-Mart card but do also believe it is a scam. Wal-Mart always leaves a message then once I pay my bill about 2-3 days later the ge capital calls stop but these never do. Googled the number and for this site. Number guru showed it as 100% spam and had over 1k lookups. Do not answer and simply block the number is my advice.

This number show's up multiple times a day about a marketing seminar.

So... after my third call from this number, I called it back and was asked for my account #. I tried hitting "#" as someone above suggested but when that didn't work, I used the usual "0" and got an operator. She asked for my name and I told her that I didn't want to give her any information because I had no way of knowing if she was really with GE Capital and/or Walmart since the number comes up "Unknown" on my caller ID. She then told me that she was calling about a credit card registered to this phone number. I said I don't have a Walmart credit card and she gave a name, Carol somebody, I'd never heard of and asked my relation to her. I said I don't know anyone by that name and she apologized and said that she would remove the number from her call list.

Received a call from 800-641-4526 with Caller ID as 'UNAVAILABLE' on 10 July 2013 @ 8:21 and again at 10:21 AM.  Caller left an automated voice-message for Samuel Quinton: ?We have left SEVERAL messages trying to get in touch with you to discuss an urgent matter regarding your GE Capital Retail Bank account.  Please call 800-641-4526 to discuss with representative TODAY or visit www.walmart.com/credit  to access your account.  Our mailing address is:  170 W. Election Road, Suite 125, Draper, UT  84020.?  After several attempts to call the number back, I kept getting a ?BAD Number.?  Determined, I finally reached an GE Money associate to thave my phone number removed from their calling list, they have the WRONG number.  GE Money Associate apologized for the wrong number and thanked me for reporting this to their attention.  I am registered member of the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Dont have a card with them. Called their credit card customer service number from the corporate website. The lady I talked to said she was pretty sure it wasn't one of their numbers.

SPAM This number called and it even gives a bogus web address telling you to go make an online payment. I called Walmart customer service. This number is not theirs and they are aware of these spammers.

I received a called from this number from a Victor saying that I was approved for a $10,000 loan. I told him I would take his info and call him back. He gave me Extension .321 but when I tried to call him back it says the number is temporarily disabled. So it is clear that this number is not Walmart, as other Extensions for the number include FAKE travel agents, etc. A thorough Google search has provided me with this information as well as my personal experience.

This number keeps calling non stop whoever it is it needs to stop....

They call multiple times a day, despite my having told them that it is my son's bill, and he doesn't live here anymore. I gave them his number, tonight is the 4th time, and I said if they keep calling, I will report them for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

received a call from the number above,they were calling for my son, they claimed they with walmart. I asked where they were calling from as the person i was speaking with sounded from somewhere besides USA. She couldn't even understand what i meant when i asked if she was from home office, or which store with walmart she was calling from. I finally got it out of her that she was calling from overseas. wouldnt give me any info since it was my son she asked for.

they have been calling me none stop too its a scam for sure because i called my walmart services and they told me everything is fine so thats what it is!!!!

A automated VM from GE Capital Retail bank regarding Walmart Credit Services to call back #800-641-4526 has been left repeatedly - at least once daily for the past few weeks- on on inner company line that only our inside employees use. We bypassed their questions asked by a Tony and told them that they are harassing a major global publishing company and they should remove our number immediately from their lists. We informed them that they have already been reported to the Do Not Call registry complaints department and if the calls continued they will hear from our Legal department as well. They did agree to do so but did ask still if an Armando Lopez worked here; which we denied as we are not going to search our global database to find a fictional employee for them. Less than half an hour after the phone call to them we received another automated call- they are now being passed over to our Legal department to deal with; they were warned.
