I receive calls from this number at really early or late hours several times a week. (Earliest call was around 6:00 am, latest was almost 11:00 pm)

When I do answer, the line disconnects with nothing being said or any sound a few moments after I say hello. They never leave a voice mail to unanswered calls either.
I called back the number once to make a complaint about times they were calling, as well as to request to be removed from their call list, however after an automated message came on the line saying something along the lines of: "...operators are currently on another line assisting other customers. All calls may be recorded to insure quality, your call is important to us. Please stay on the line..."
It then repeats in Spanish and the line disconnects.

For what it's worth, my guess would be that they are a second party(?) bill collecting agency. After reading the posts here, it appears to be a common link, and I did have an outstanding debt from almost a year ago with the county hospital. To my knowledge though, that was supposed to have been taken care of by organizations within the county hospital for those without insurance and low income.

I think I'm just going to manually block the number on my cell and see how it goes from there. It would probably be a safe bet to guess their company has more than one outgoing number anyway.

I just tell them I am outside milking the horses. They ask if I am a Family member. I say no, I am one of the horses. They leave me alone for awhile after that.

An out of the country friend picked up a phone in my home while I was gone to answer it for me, and it was a recording stating my name amd asking that I call Firstsource Advantgage.  My friend said it sounded like a debt collector but they didn't give any information, nor was it possible to speak to someone at the end of the recording...it just hung up.

Calling Firstsource Advnatage, two people there could not find me in their system, although my name appeared it was for someone with another address, year of birth, and last four Social security numbers.

They agreed I should not have gotten the call but did not know who put my telephone number into their auto-dial system, which they acknowledge they use to make such calls.

Calling back the number on my Caller ID, which shows only as "unknown", they simply state when they answer via recording "Thank you for calling", and when a live person answered, they stated only they were "Firstsource", but when given my complaint, merely hung up on me.

Fortunately, we have a local attorney who specializes in debt collector abuses which I found on the Internet, who is aware of this company and their pre-recorded fishing expeditions, and who has experience in stopping these calls and recovering damages from them...so I recommend you take good notes and contact a consumer defense specialist and sue them to prevent them from giving out false information and disparaging pre-recorded calls to people whom they make you look bad to...it's unethical and illegal under the TCPA and FDCPA and others which give you the right to sue them and recover statutory damages and all attorney fees and court costs.  Given they are sued enough times, the federak government will step in and fine them as well and may revioke their ability to make these calls or even do business in such a reckless and disgusting manner.

So they were calling me about a semi-legitimate charge (dispute between my insurance company and the hospital) about 6 months ago. I gave them my card number and they didn't charge it. About a month after that I called back to see what was up. They said it was fine, they had the info and the charge would show on my account soon. They never did charge my card and now 6 months later they call to say they lost something like 10,000 card numbers and need to get them from me again. I told them it's their problem and to stop calling me.

800 is not a fake area code.  It's for toll-free (no charge) numbers.  Do your research before you post and sound like you don't know a thing.

These morons are trying to collect medical bills that are a fraud.  I pay my co-payment BEFORE getting any service yet am told I didn't pay AFTER? WTF???  They must prey on idiots ......... just hang up!!!

I got very tired from this number keep calling me and the automatic services said ..identifice your self ..i do not give my personal information over the phone never,why the company or what ever company don't identifice first the company name, and so tired receiving fake calls into my cell phone.
The Business Bureau have to do something or any organization, to stop the calls like this.

They have called today twice. I answered the phone once and got a computer telling me that I need to standby for an agent who has an important message for me.  After the computer cycled through twice I hung up.

    If its so important, have a human call!  I am very tired of talking to computers!

They call my cell and hang up as soon as you answer. Walk away from the phone and it rings again. Hangs up.  Happens daily.  Can't something be done to STOP these people - whoever they are!

I have been harassed as well and had ENOUGH!  I called the number they left in their message, but it doesn't exist!  First Source Medical Resources REAL number is 954-575-6040.  They are in Coral Springs, FL.  Call and give them HELL.  That is what I am going to do.  They are harassing me weeks after they cashed my check for medical bills!

These idiots call my cell phone at least twice a week.  I have a pay as you go cell phone.  Each call cost me 50 cents.

Every Damn Day at least 4 different times during the day this number calls my cell phone.  I never answer cause I don't recognize the number but it only rings like twice before they hang up.

They called today to ask me to verify my birthday.  I would not do it.

They have call my prepaid cell phone twice this morning.  It rings once then hangs up and leaves no voice mail...Who are these creeps?  I cannot answer within 1 ring and do not wish to call back if they don't have the common courtesy to leave a message.

These people call everyday at least twice. They are so irritating. They dont say who they are or give any information that is verifiable. Dont answer and save yourself the stress.

county hospital debt collector. they rob your taxes then rob medicare then rob the state then have the nerve to rob your pockets after board of directors told me personally that these charges are not made.  county hospitals are the biggest liars cheats thieving quacks on the planet.

This people are calling my cell phone, they want me to verify my birthdate for them for security purposes and I tell them that I don't give out any information to people I don't know for security purposes, and they just say Ok. and hung up. They must be FAKE.

I have considered arrangements to mail radioactive money to these f***ers but I would just be violating a bunch of laws and harming myself more in the end (it is a nice fantasy....I am not going to do it - relax). Doing the FTC or FBI thing seems pretty weak. Has anyone heard of or considered a class action suit against a section of the system - there are enough victims of identity theft now, could we turn the tables and apply the kind of heat where something might actually happen.

I can see a day where we all crumple "it is just the cost of doing business" but I am not sure how to do it. As you might have guessed by now I am a little warped, could my $15 a month paid to Equifax be put to better use ? The credit card companies, credit bureaus, and federal regulatory agencies all have developed muscle to counter criminals but is it effective ?

Another alternative could be an Identity Union, it could issue you a credit / debit card similar to a bank but instead of it's employees, share holders and executives sucking mega money off us we would peg the salaries to average government wages (if you are an Ivy league business school graduate - f*** off). Better fees for union card users would be possible with lower overhead but we would also accept costs for "offshore activities" where subcontractors could eliminate criminal organizations harassing our card members by means unavailable to agencies operating within the USA.

Before anyone goes rushing off to start this kind of organization it might be worthwhile to consider that we possibly are looking at jail time for attempting to legitimize what may essentially appear to be a blue collar mafia. I have come to realize that we all endure incremental extortion from Scammers (slip and fall in Department stores add to the cost of purchased items etc) but when Banks and Big Business join in by exacting fees from us for little or no protection maybe it is time for something different.  Anyone who has EXPERTISE can email me at barkmadley.bradley@gmail.com  I would prefer to only answer a few messages from folks who are experienced in how to step into s**t but come out with something legal and well organized.

Who ever this phone # is never leaves a message, likes to call right at 9:00 PM, have numerous hang ups recorded from this #.  Have never spoke to a person but they keep calling. Am on DO NOT CALL LIST but that doesn't help. Disconnected land line and only have cell phone and somehow they got cell phone # and continue to call that!!!  I don't answer the phone when I don't know the party calling.

I am getting the long, long recording several times a day both when I answer and when the voicemail kicks in if I am at work, and they are asking for someone named Sue Stankewitz (sp?).

I've never heard of this person and am very, very angry that I have to be subjected to this harrassment.

Listen folks, ALL of these collections and sales calls are phone numbers bundled, that are sold and traded over and over again and again.  Very similar to the bank loans.  There is A LOT of money to be made off Mail lists, phones lists and collection lists.  If they can get one person to pay them anything, they in the positive, aye!  

This perticular number may be, and I stress MAY be from an old hospital I visited the ER, was told I'd have to wait an hour or more, and I left.  I didn't feel that bad.  No insurance so I went to ER for help.  I'm not going to wait over an hour, went home went to bed, got better.  Then they sent me a bill as if I'd been seen by a doctor.... NOT!!!!

call everyday and harrassing. dont answer their calls. they will just make ur day misearable. morons
