I received a message (from my work place) to call this person Dillon Smith at 1-800-652-7681 x258.  Called this number and after one ring, an answering machine came on and said to leave a message after the tone....that's it!  Hmmmm, sounds kind of fishy to me. I won't call back.

Just got a call from this number and all they left on my answering machine was its Ashley falast or something like that. So I called back and it rang to a answering machine that just said please leave a message. Nothing professional about that at all.

Is a debt collector for home depot or citicard. They called me from what seemed a local # in my area code, I returned the call to find out this # was and gotforwarded to a call center in san diego? i live in ny? I tried to ask what this company was and they would not tell me, also asked their address and they gave me a texas po box# I was like. WTF! Very unprofessional scumbag approach to collect a debt, also I never. Got a letter from them about anything . Yes I do owe a debt but refuse to speak to any company ran that way.

This person called my cell phone and asked for me, and then asked to confirm my address (reading a certain address to me) without introducing herself! When I asked who it was, she said just her name (Danielle Hornes, I think) and said "this is regarding a personal business, and I need to confirm that that is your address before I can continue". I said that I won't reveal any of my information to a stranger, and she rudely said "I already told you my name". So I asked whom she represents, since I don't know that name. And she said some two letters "Business" after which instantly went to demand that I confirm that address "to know that you are who you claim to be".
I said that I never heard her name, nor of the business she represents -- what that business is about (she did not want to say what it was) -- so I will not tell her any of my information. She said she already answered those questions, and said, "since you don't want to answer, I can not tell you about the personal matter that I am calling about, so here is my callback number. Call me if you have any questions at 1-800-652-7681. I'm Danielle Hornes. Bye."

Received a call looking for a Diane Roker from 800-652-7681.  Called numerous times. I never heard of a Diane Roker in my life.

This phone number is from a company called G C Services, a debt collection agency.  They too called my neighbor to "post an important note for me as it was an important business matter".  This is pure harrassment of my neighbor. They pretend to be urgent. Report all activity to your local attorney general's office.  This is illegal!!!

I also got a call from "Jenny Walker" 800 6527681 x 2504, who also said she was from San Diego.  Gave me the same message as other posters.  Wanted to know if I knew a neighbor, gave me his name.  Wanted me to put a note on his door, or hand him a note.  Seems very very odd to me as well.  Wonder if they will start to harrass us if they cannot get in touch with our neighbor.

Same as the other neighbor above.  Person identified as 'erikson' wants us to put a note on our neighbors door.  Alleged 'business matter' that is 'important'.  Seems really odd to me, and I wonder who does this crap. I couldn't begin to guess the motive, but harassment of my neighbor seems like the most likely goal.
We notified our neighbor and gave him the info, but we felt dirty about doing it.  The number given was 800-652-7681, ext. 2509

"Diana" calls from San Diego saying she can't reach our neighbors a few houses down and wants me to deliver a note to their door.  She says they're elderly and she's worried that they aren't answering their phone.  Identifies herself only by first name and when pressed for information on her relation to them she says she's "working on some investment business" with them.  Gives her callback number as 858-577-2381 and 800-652-7681 x 2178.

Sounds like a debt collector to me.
