We get 1-2 calls/day on the cellphone.  They claim it's debt collection, but it's gotta be spam, given that we've never owned, leased, or even test-driven a Mercedes.  I imagine it's a way to try to sneak around the fact that we're on the do-not-call list.

Call your phone company and ask them to block the number that has been harassing you.  If they can't or won't, ask them for suggestions - call other phone companies and ask how they handle this type of annoying calls.

I have receive 2 calls a day for a week now.  I let the answering service take the call.  Because it is automated, I only hear their number on the message because the body of it has already played.

They keep calling asking for someone who once had my phone number.  I've explained multiple times and they've been aggressive and rude.  How do I stop them??

Wasted thier time and have fun with them. i usally pretend to be the front desk, or i say I am not there or pretend to be security at some company. As long as you say you are not who you are they can not talk to you.

They like to pretend that they know you when you first answer the phone by asking for you by your fist name and sound like they are the chick or guy that you had sex with the night before. Thay are nothing but failures the people who call!

They call me for different person that I don't even know. Does someone know how to stop them? They are calling me too 10 times a day. I yelled at them several times. What is their problem?

believe me. IT IS mercedes benz financial reminding you that you havent paid you bill TWO DAYS after its due.

they wont be able to stop calling even if u tell them its a wrong number because the calls are system generated. you might as well need to consider changing your number or just let it go to voicemail

I don't own a Mercedes and never would, They call 5-10 times a day, when I answer no one is there. Now they started calling my cell #. One more reason to never own one of these money holes.

Being curious, I finally answered the call from 800.654.6222.  I was asked to give personal information regarding my account and they would not tell me what the call was regarding until I did.  I work in the insurance industry and specialize in insuring financial institutions...including FRAUD.  This "play" by these folks fits the profile of various scams.  I'm not saying this IS a scam...I'm saying it would be wise to NOT test it.  If Mercedes wants to contact you, they will find other ways...like the US MAIL.  STAY AWAY AND DO NOT OFFER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, EVEN YOUR ADDRESS (that's where it all begins)...

Also repeat calls, we do have a leased Mercedes but we are not behind on the payments.  Did not know it was Mercedes till reading everyone's entries here... but this morning I did pick it up and just listen, all I heard were a series of electronic "buzz" interruptions.  No voice, no recording.  Weird.  

Mercedes has always treated us well.  I cannot say the same for Daimler-Chrysler!  We had a Jeep previously, we had to turn it in early because it had an electrical problem that made it dangerous to drive.  Jeep couldn't have cared less about our problem, they did nothing to remedy it, they would not reduce the lease, we ended up losing about $1500.  But safety was more important to us.

Anyway, I could believe it was Chrysler doing this to us, but not Mercedes.

Is it possible that someone is using Mercedes' name on these calls?

Calling house and now cell phone no message.  I don't own a Mercedes have nothing to do with Mercedes!!! I think they look at the last name of someone they deal with and then just blanket harass people with same last name.

this has been happening to me for months... I would like to know if anybody has the address to this institution.  I would like to go down there, show them my I.D., then have them call me and verify I am not Andre Jones.  So stop calling for him 6-9 times a day.

These kind folks at Mercedes only call me twice a day. Today is the 5th, my payment is due on the 2nd and as other folks have stated the payment is not considered late until it is 10 days past due. My suggestion is that you change your phone number in your profile to your local Mercedes dealer.

these jerks call me night and day at work and on cell phone.  I had leased a vehicle and returned it at lease end.  They are now trying to harass me into giving them almost $500 for breaking their lease by not leasing another vehicle when I turned mine in.  GUESS WHAT -- THEY NO LONGER LEASE VEHICLES SO THEY BROKE THE CONTRACT BEFORE I TURNED MY VEHICLE IN.  I AM NOT GIVING THEM ANOTHER CENT.  THEY GOT ENOUGH MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT BAIL OUT THAT MY CHILDREN'S CHILDREN WILL HAVE TO PAY VIA THEIR TAXES!!  GO SUCK ROTTEN EGGS YOU ARE LOWER THAN POND SCUM!

They did the same, calling on early and late hrs. I am my 2nd last lease payment and somehow forgot to pay on time. That is my first missed payment on a 38 lease payment. AND I get hammer by these calls. The stupid thing is they dont even response when I do pick up the line. For a while, I thought it was crank calls.
