I used to own a small business usually owned by males. The old former business number is forwarded to my cell phone number so I can tie up loose ends and refer former customers to someone else. I received a call from this number and was asked if they could speak to "your owner of the business." I replied, "I don't have an owner." She seemed flustered and hung up; however, I've had many other calls from that number. I saved it as a contact under Telemarketer and gave it a cricket ringtone so I know not to bother answering it.

They call everyday?? Why do you keep answering the call? Do you have caller ID. JUST DON'T ANSWER IT IF YOU HAVE CALLER ID.

Caller ID shows that number and I don't answer it, never answer numbers with out of state area codes or toll free ones. I rarely get calls anymore from anyone. This one came in today and I wanted to know which company was calling.

Just tired of all of these f*****g calls when we have been on the US supposed 'Do not call" list since it was started.  I keep updating every year but it still does no good.  What is the point of the list if it isn't going to be enforced?

Lady on the other line called asking to speak with the person who handles our health insurance. Refused to leave a message. Could hear a loud call center in the background.

Asked for one of our employees by first and last name (but he does not work in this particular office). Said they were with some insurance company (I didn't catch who, I wasn't really paying attention). Wouldn't leave a message, just said she'd call back another time.

Robocall. Let phone ring 4 times before answering. They had moved on to another victim. No reply when I answered.

My phone is on the do-not-call list, but this number keeps calling.  I refuse to answer.

Receive a call from these people evert day. When i pck up the phone they dont answer. this is crazy! I'd like to meet the mother fricker in a dark alley so i could open up a can of whooop azzzz.

That is a lot better than cursing at everyone that has had the same problem.  I doubt seriously the callers are watching on here for every complaint.

Received a call from this number and they hung up when I answered.  Definitely a telemarketer, could hear static and people talking in background.

They called just a few moments ago asking for my terminally ill mother. I told the girl on the other end that she was sleeping. Maybe I should have said she's dead, that might stop them from calling us. The girl with an Indian accent said that she would call back another time. If she calls again, I will tell her that from the last call you did, my mother passed away from cancer. Maybe that will stop the calls coming from these people.

8am wake up call - i answer they hang up. had to call back to company name. filled with DNCR, so if enough us do maybe they will be hit with 16k fine.

Same as above.  I got two calls today.  The first one told me who they were when I asked if I could help when I wouldn't let her speak to the owner.  I told her we had insurance and hung up.  Just got another one--I recognized the number and just said--nope he's not here.  I think I will tell them tomorrow that the owner no longer works for the company.

These people are rude.  When I ask if I can take a message, they just hang up!!  I am on the "Do Not Call Registry" -- have been for years - why do I get these calls?

This poor, poor lady has been trying with no success to get through me and this time, since she so generically asked, "May I speak to the owner of the business?", I habitually answered her with my response, no, of course, and then I asked her if I could perhaps assist her. She perked up and told me she was selling insurance for small businesses, in many more words, and I shut her down and ruined her day after I told her what her competition and our current provider was providing for us.

Usually these calls don't start until 9 am....up late last night and then after a few hours of sleep up again at 4am. I decided to catch a few minutes nap and had just dozed off when the phone rang a little before 8am.....sheesh, I don't want insurance and I don't want a wake up call.

The company called and insisted that I could save on insurance by buying through them. I did agree to a meeting, juggled my schedule to meet with them.  Their representative never showed. Big Time Waste!

Some woman from this number just called my work and asked to speak to the owner.  I told her that the owner was not in  this office but could be reached at a different number.  I gave her the phone number that showed up on the caller I.d. when she called me.  I am not sure how long it will take her to figure that one out.  Haha!
