Is there any way to report this guy to the police? I'm tired of the calls and harassment. I'm 70 years old and this guy is going to give me a heart attack!

Mr Peters has called my cell phone three times asking asking for another person, he has been informed that he has the wrong person/phone number and yet continues to leave voice messages.

Mr Peters called our business phone looking for our 18 year old son.  He lied to me & said that he had called 2 times the previous 2 days & left messages with someone. So I asked him what the hell he thought he was doing calling our business on Sunday & he hung up

thanks for sharing but not everybody can handle their debts as good as you did.  actually mr peters was very nice to you because alliance probably bought your account for pennies on the dollar.  so if he can make a buck on your account he is a very happy camper.  you did not owed him the money he was just hired to put pressure on you and pay up the debt.  the so call mr peters is nice if you give him money...but try saying no or don't his phone calls...beware he will treat you like a scum.
again congratulations on paying off your debt, but don't be so hard on some people who can't resolve their debts like you did.
well not unless you are "mr peters" posting this message...

this sounds like mr peters posting some of this messages. for example like the person who lost his home and car...is he trying to intimidate the readers. it is hard to believe wages being garnished and loose everything.  not unless it was BIG amount being collected by "mr peters"

I found Mr. Peters quite pleasant to deal with. I hit a troubled spot in life, but I also dealt with it all. Not paying your credit debt IS stealing. You wonder why they garnish your wages? You stole from them, they're just getting their monies back in a legal manner. Next time, don't ignore them and try dealing with them. The problems don't go away, they just magnify if you don't take care of your business. I'm now debt free and I DON'T use credit cards. I refuse to become a slave to a system that is designed for personal failure anymore. I pay cash for everything these days and am much happier. I also have more money at the end of the month because I live this way now.

I received a call from Mr. Peters...........I called him back and ask him who he was with.  Alliance One.........Maybe everyone should just call back before your wages get garnished.  In my case, I just referred him to my Attorney.  I dont think he will call me back.

I could not agree with you more. I actually talked with Mr. Peters and a Matt Davis, both of which were very helpful in getting a settlement with my creditor. They actually saved me 500 bucks and I got the account paid. Remember people: when you get credit, you are entering a contract, and if you don't pay, they have the right and the law on their side, to enforce that contract. So DON'T CHARGE MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD. I learned that the hard way.

Mr Peters called tonight...I didnt answer because it was a 800 number.  After reading this I will not...I guess they had to pass my stuff to him because Brian Johnson couldnt get anything out of me.  I refuse to pay for someone else's debt (my card was run up by my ex and fees from the bank that i didnt agree to).  I tried to file it as stolen but they wouldnt let me, and when I made payments they would lose my check.  Im not paying it...they can do whatever they want, they cant touch me or put me in jail...they cant garnish my wages or put a lien on me...so, they can just give up.  I dont have the money, I wont have the money for a very long time.  BTW the other collector, Johnson, stopped calling after I chewed him out for calling me during a stress test and for not understanding why I couldnt talk to him, and again while I was in labor having a baby...he gave up.  Just ignore them guys, they will go away eventually...if they call anybody else besides me then I chew them out and quote the credit/debt laws and they calm down.

Mr. Peters called me about my account - I owe money I had failed to to pay back as agreed. He had been patiently calling me repeatedly to collect. He had been nothing less than respectful and professional at all times. I paid back what I owed for less at a discounted amount when my finances got better.

If anyone owes money, the person should work with Mr. Peters to resolve the issue. The debtor who fails to keep his word and obligation is responsible for the consequences of his choices. Of course, it makes perfect sense to point fingers at someone else if it makes you happy because you have no integrity.

Keep blaming Mr. Peters for doing his job because you did not.

I had received a call from this Mr. Peters. He has been calling for someone with the same last name as mine. He had also called my cell phone, my wife's cell phone, my son's cell phone, my daughter-in-law's cell phone asking for someone we don't know. He has continued calling for that person even after we had informed him that we do NOT know nor have any acquaintances with the person he is trying to find. He keeps insisting that he has the right numbers and will continue to call until the person he is looking for speaks with him.. My son works for Verizon and has reported this matter to the nuisance and harrassment calls department for further investigations. If anyone knows the name of the company, please post it on here. It will help with my investigation.

I got a call from Mr Peters a yr or so ago. He demanded money for his companys cliant.  I didnt want to talk to my family for money and let it go.  This year I was sued and garrnished my state law allowed them to take 25% of my wages.  This cost me to lose my home to forclosure and my car was repoed. My life is a mess.

I spoke with mr peters a year ago about my account. He said if I did pay he was going to forward my file on.  I ignored his calls and they eventually stoped. Well this year I was sued by the creditor and they garnished my wages. I lost my home and my car because mr peters had my wages garnished!!!

Some guy named Mr. Peters has been calling my brother's cell phone looking for me saying how urgent is is for me to call him back. I've never used my brother's number for anything other than maybe an emergency medical contact or a reference for a job. If it were really urgent he could call my number it isn't private or he could write me. My worry is that he wont stop harassing my family. He's called my brother 4 times now and my brother continues to tell him to stop. This is getting out of control.
