Received a few calls from a private caller over the last few days with no messages left on the answering machine. Today the private caller left a message. It was Jim from Check Care Systems with a message exhibiting ominous vocal overtones. Jim said to call him at 800-658-8110, ext. 714 regarding a "serious business matter." Yeah, money business that I suspect Jim hopes will somehow  lead to his financial gain.

Received a voicemail from a guy named Jim that said I needed to call him back. I have no idea what this is in refernce to and the number came up restricted.

They keep leaving me voicemails for someone names Briana McWilliams. I don't know anyone with this name. So I called them back right away, and it sounded like I woke someone up!

Got a call about a check from a woman who ID'd herself as "Sherry" from "ohio check protection". When I was on the phone with her she seemed very nervous and I could hear what sounded like kids playing in the background. She told me I could take care of this matter if I went to KeyBank and made the deposit into their account. Now I'm no fool, I'm going to go with my gut on this one and contact the store direct to see if I can correct the problem that way. I have tried to search for info on this company and have come up with nothing. Monday I'm going to contact the local BBB. The number they called from came up restricted, I don't believe this is legal for debt collection. I'm looking into it. I'm also going to contact KeyBank to see if they can verify the info this woman gave me. This just doesn't feel right!!!

A call from a person name "Jim", who left a message for my husband about a check.  If it is about a check, it is my check too.  He didn't want to give me anymore information but to just have my husband to call him at 1 800 658 8110 Ext. 714 and his name is Jim.  We have a joint everything, so why is he not asking me any questions?
