did they ever try to use your card again?

My uncle, they received a mail from them that I owe them $751.08... Even I call them nothing response... And they keep sending a magazine with my name... If anybody knows how to fix this out I need your help....

Ok so this number 800-664-4946, Has been calling me and I remember signing up for a chance to win a trip, Then the next thing I know I was sent a bill on magazine that I had never received!  I called the company back to cancel all magazines. they said in order to do that I would have to pay $1,000.00 I told them who in their right mind would pay that much for f****ng paper and especially the fact that I have not received one! no way ! I don't even read that crap!
I asked to speak with a supervisor they could not provide me with one! I just hung up on them. They also call from
813-775-7190. They call from a different number Every time. This is ridiculous I have never heard of such a thing like this and refuse to work with them. But it is definitely effecting my job Duties, they need to stop calling and move on. I feel sorry for everyone else that they hit kids, grandparents, don't they know we don't make money like that, I bring in less then 700 a month, and my mortgage is 95%, I barely have enough money for food and gas, and due to me having no kids, I don't get support from the government!

I was not sure if I got scammed, but the people from MIDWEST PERIODICALS seemed very nice and legit and got me to subscribe to magazines and I later tried to cancel it and instead of paying the full 1160 bucks he lowered it to 280, but I didn't have the money and just didn't bother calling them, this happened in June 2013 and I finally got a letter from this interstate recovery service stating that if I do not write them within 30 days then this debt is valid and I will need to pay in full, should I believe these people? i have not tried to contact them and I didnt notice if they tried calling me, what do I do?!!

I receive a call from Jonhy Brown,  He call me from this phone 17574479845 when I ask the company name and phone number ,he give me this18005544946 and the company name Magazine Subscription,They call me from different phon number.They have called me everyday for the last week after they told me it is canceled.

recieved a letter saying I owe them 300.00 something. The company name shown was MLM and Associates. Why can't somebody stop this fraud collectors? Tried to call the 800 number but nothing was there just hung up.

they call mi from 214 272-2235 about a  magazine that I order in 2009  they told me that I need to pay only 500.00 and that they have to collect a debit card to make payment and if I have a question a need to call  1800 664 4946 I told them that a will call back and a call 214 2722235 and they told me that they don't no way they are calling me and I have the  wrong number so I call 1800 664 4946 they never answer so  now I don't answer

This is a scam. This woman calls me and says '...this is your magazine service and we are calling to verify your subscription.'  Then she tells me the last 4 numbers of my social security number and my p.o. box address.  Then she asks if I liked the magazines I was receiving and would I like to change any.  I did have a magazine subscription and still had a few months left to pay it off.  She also said that they would decrease the number of monthly payments to 20 at 59.95 per month.  I agreed. Then she asks for my full credit card number to verify the subscription. Then she said that the cancellation period was two weeks.  I did not receive the magazines till 6 weeks later.  Then I checked my credit card bill and the magazine name was 'Your Magazine Service' and I was being charged from my original subscription and them.  I disputed the charges through my credit card company and was reimbursed the whole amount.  Now they are calling and calling trying to collect.  They got my subscription through fraudulent means and I called them to cancel but they won't so I stopped all payments and had them blocked by my credit card company.

Fake bill collectors! File a complaint with the BBB when they keep calling.

This company is registered with the Better Business Bureau.

You've just been scammed again.  Call your bank, try to get that payment stopped.  And close the account.  Never give any money to someone who calls you asking for it.

I got a call today from a 415 area code number i called it back and it went straight through i talked to one of the girls who worked there and her name was Lori. She explained to me what I owed and I know I owed it cause I was scammed by a magazine company from a year ago. She gave me the 1-800 number and that went through right away as well. I paid them what they owed that would make my settlement PAID in full. All i know is that after this payment goes through i am cancelling my card.

Just got a call from 18006644946. Says her name was Heather and was a debt collector. She mention about the company, Your Magazine Source (YMS), that I was scammed before like a year ago. They have been billing me but for some reasons stopped. She wanted me to at least have $1 in my bank account but I don't have anymore after I got scammed I closed it down. She gave me their number to call her back but the number she called me was from a different phone 406 something. I immediately check up on the phone and see this site.

I didn't get a call but a letter in the mail with my name mispelled. I have not ordered any magazines but am being told I owe over $922. Interstate collection service is the collection company and the client is readers service. Both companies showing scam when I research them.

They called me from 1315 633 4433   and asked for my son. I looked up that number and saw it was a scam. Then I called the number the lady gave me 1800 664 4946  and read some of the comments leading me to believe this is also a scam.

I also recieved a phone call from them today.  I did get scammed into ordering magazines from a crappy subscription company out of Montana so I ended up refusing all magazines and cancelled the card the payments were coming out of.  I had no number to call and cancel my subscriptions.  The lady I talked to was polite and I figured that since I probibly did owe this magazine company a little money that this was a legit collection agency and gave them my debit card info.  I sure hope they aren't scamming me.  So long as they don't charge anymore to my account!  I guess I'll just have to keep a close eye on my account activity.

The company called themselves Interstate Recovery, working for "Magazine Services" and "World Class Marketing."
As a favor, they are going to only charge me $200 out of the $720 I "owe"...ha, favor - hilarious.

I received a call from them today, the lady on the phone was very polite and helpful. I researched this company they are a FAIR DEBT CONSUMER SETTLEMENT COMPANY, they are legit and have to follow Fed. guide lines. I owed the debt they were trying to collect, I paid the settlement offer and was emailed my paid in full letter and will receive hard copy in the mail.

Did they call you back after they put you on refusal to pay status?

They called my little brother asking for me. Gave the name Tony Childs claimed to be a friend of mine when i called back the guy refused to give me a company name then hung up when i called him right back he said he wasnt my child and didnt have to put up with me swearing at him. I dont owe anyone any money so not sure how it would be a bill collector all around shady and the guy answering the phone wouldnt transfer me to Tony childs just said he worked there. I told them I am on the do not call registry he said he wasn't trying to sell anything so it didnt mean $hit to him. I asked for a company name again because i would be sending a cease and desist letter and he hung up again.

Very seedy/profitable business with lots of casualties and few beneficiaries, one of these being Interstate Recovery Service. Who has represented these people in the past.

i just received a call from this number and am very Leary about giving my card number over the phone. they called from a 818-338-2220 number but told me i could give a call back betweetn 730-5pm at this 800 number. i remember paying of cancelling my magazines and this was 5yrs ago. they said they sat down and negotiated with the magazine ppl saying that why would someone want to pay for something they can buy and stores and instead of paying $645 they negotiated for it to come down to $245 and since it's tax season he could take off an extra $50. Sounds weird right?! then i said well im not sure i want to pay it. he said he could get it down to $200.85 and it would be considered PAID and i'd receive those two letters in the mail. this seems fraud because he wasnt very professional singing on the phone and giving me a life story about how he once ordered magazines and the same thing happened. i asked there hrs and he told me them and that he'd be there til 430 cuz he had to drop his son off?? OOH and i asked that they mail me a copy of the collection letter and he instead said he would EMAIL it to me and wait on the phone until i received it. O_o i'm going to say NO to giving my account info and card #

I got the same call and they call all the time and no message when you don't answer and I asked if thy would send me a bill and he said they do not do that.  And I also told him that the magazine company was a scam I was young and they wanted to charge credit card every month for them and I had canceled the magazines early therefore I should not have to pay for stuff that I did not receive and the person on phone told me that the magazine company has a 48 hour period to cancel them.  If he doesn't work for the magazine company how does he know that, and it takes long to order the magazines by mail than 48 hours.

They have called everyday for the last week trying to get my wifes info and I refuse to pay because she was in Air Force Basic Training When all of this occured.

Received phone call for magazine subscription. Vaguely remember the subscription, but i went a head and made a payment in full.  The person I spoke to was Dana Askew in collections and a Kara in the department where they validate payments. If its fraudulent shame on them, I will wait to see I receive my paid in full letter in the mail like they promised. If I hadn't vaguely remember the magazine subscription i would not have made the payment.

Got a phone call regarding a legal matter and to call back Paul. I dont have any legal matters. Found out its just a scam to get money for magazines that was never ordered. They are very rude and dont give info on anything. Please stop these scammers!!!!!
