Stop calling

I received the same type of call from 800-666-5525 offering reduced interest rate.  Message was left on my unified messaging.  When I did a reverse number search the message invalid number came up.  I have not tried to call the number as it may have been an automated messaging service from an invalid source or someone posing as a card services to find out when someone is home or get cc info for illegal use.

I received the same type of call from 800-666-5525 offering a reduced interest rate. What pissed me off is they called at 1:00 in the morning and woke me up!

Received call from this number identifying themselves as "Card Services" offering a low rate on credit card debt. Could get no real person on the line to complain. My number is listed in the "Do Not Call" list.

The first part of the voicemail was cut off but the recorded person said I was eligible for a lower interest rate.

A note for those on the Do Not Call List.  It might be time to register with them.  I did & this is the 1st call I had in 4 days.

I received a call from 800-666-5525 at 8:30 p.m. When I answered, a phone rang first, and then I got a recording saying that I might be eligible for a lower interest rate on my credit card. It said to push 1 for a customer service representative and 2 to be removed from their call list. I pressed 2 and got another recording that said, "Ok, you will be removed from our call list. You will not be contacted for future promotions."

Fkng guys call me @ 1 in the morning ..... who's those guys ?

They called an unpublished number that has never been used for anything. They are either looking through old information or are attempting to call every single number possible based on cell phone ranges they have. It's an illegal practice.

Just hang up, these types will put you on other lists of you decide to take matters into your own hands and the calls won't stop.

It's a debt collector calling to settle old debt and using the tactic as if you have been approved for a new line at 6.99% interest.

My phone number is also on the "DO NOT CALL" listing. This caller said I qualify for lower interest rates- but preceded that remark by stating that I may be interested in getting a lower rate. The call was disguised as a cover-uip for an inquiry I never made. Their number was 800-666-5525.

I also just received a call just a moment ago.  In the message they left, they ID'd themselves as offering card services with a low interest rate for a card up to 6.9% just like they did to Gal above.

cell phone rang when i answered the phone was ringing as if i called them, and i hung up. i am on the do not call list as well. a lot of good that is doing.

I don't know?  Call and report this phone number to the FCC?  Dates and times that they call. You might even be able to sue them if the hours are early and they are abusive in language.

their robot call left my cell a voice message.  The can reduce my interest rates to....  press 1 to speak to a rep and 2 to be removed from their list!  So much for the do not call list and privacy of cell numbers!!

Yep they called my cell to, but if you think about it, so many people have their cell # posted on FB & myspace. I do not have it posted anywhere, so it must have been another 3rd party giving out my #....Crap I tell ya....Crap!

They called my cell phone, I answered, (like Mike's message on 10 Feb 2011) then the phone started ringing as if I had called them.  Said they were from 'Card Services' and I qualified for a lower rate.  Directed me to push "1" to talk to  a representative, or "2" to be removed from the call list, then hung up.

These people are driving me crazy!! Does anyone have a clue as to how to reach the source and complain??

my number is on do not call list. This is bs that the companys are getting our cell phone numbers anyway. HELLO thats just wrong!!!!!!!

I received two calls, no message was left. I too have my phone number listed on the "Do Not Call" List. When I called back all I got was a busy signal.

They did not leave a message...my number is listed in the DO NOT CALL registry.
