i got a call from this # too!  just a few mins ago

oh hi indian alisha_aa - very clever alt twist to attempt to scam people - only stupid people mind you - but providing you with their email address. if they do, they get what they deserve. i'm not an indian and you probably aren't either but i'm not a liar and you probably are. cheers

That's a creative approach indian alisha_aa. Nice way to try to draw people into yet another scam by giving you their email address. I hope nobody falls for it but if they do, well, they deserve what they get.

That's a nice story Ken. I believe the essence of it but the added details detract from the veracity. Just report the facts dude. If you want to do some creative writing, take a course.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I answered no one was there and they didn't leave a message.  I am sure it was a scam too; it just upsets me that had I answered the call, it would have cost me in cell minutes.

I got a call from this number and I don't know who is calling me.

This number called twice today.  Usually only get a call or two during the day but today had 5...  one was a scam to "lower our credit card interest rates"...  I wonder if all these calls are connected.?

This number just called me too and I called back from another phone and it was not in service. I know some Internet phones u can choose what number u want to show as out going, could be a scam

I just got called by this number and the guy said his name was Sean. It was really loud in the background and all he said was "Hello I'm Sean" then I said hello back and no one said anything for about twenty seconds then he said bye and I hung up. He never even said he was from a company or anything.

Just got a call from this number, I did not pick up and they did not leave a message,... called it back and got the "this call cannot be completed as dialed" message,...

I got one call, dead air, called back and it said not in service..WTF?!

No one on the line.  Even waited a full minute before I hung up.

Called my Cell Phone, when I called back the number is not in service.
Scammers telemarketers can't even be up front with who they are!

Got a call this morning from this number - they didn't leave a message and when I tried to call it back it said the number was not in service.

I got a call last night from that same number - said I won 100,000 Air Miles points.

Got a call from this number just now.  At first they say they were calling "On behalf of Visa or Mastercard" which already seemed sketchy.  It was a guy with a heavy East Indian accent.  He said he wanted to tell me about a travel offer through my Visa or Mastercard air miles (which I don't have)  When I pushed him for details about the company, he said he worked for 'ZOOM HOLIDAYS" and gave an address of 2609 Jos Street Lewis Avenue Brampton.  He also gave a call back number of 888-525-3436 which can't be called from Canada.  When I asked what the East Indian guys name was, he said his name was Nick Parker.  I asked him if he grew up in Scotland and he said "yes".  At that point I told him that I was going to forward the info to the police and a bunch of voices on the line started shouting at me.  After I hung up, I called the original number back and it can't be called.

I got this call this morning, he said the same as above, that he was a contractor for both visa and mastercard called Zoom Holidays which right away made be suspicious. I dont even have a credit card....It is some kind of scam, just hang up.

2 calls today. First went unanswered but no message left. 2nd I answered, waited on the line for several seconds saying hello repeatedly, and no response. Has to be a low-life telemarketer!
