No one here can cancel your order for you! You need to do that with this company itself.  This is merely a board for posting who called you so other know..
From what I read on the other pages, you need to contact your banks and file fraud complaints, block them being able to charge your accounts and file reports not just with the BBB, but with the FTC and consumer finance boards.

Really?  Why in the world did you think that a website called 800notes.com can cancel your order for you?  Did you not read ANY of the other posts from other dissatisfied customers?  Time to get a clue!

This has never before happened to me.  I, too, accepted a ring for the shipping charges only.  I don't know how they got my debit card #, as I never share this online.  I do online banking, and was just charged $56.98 which put my account into overdraft status, @ a cost of $37.50, because I'm currently very close on finances. When I spoke with a banker, and questioned what company had debited my account for $56.98, I didn't recognize the name he gave me until he mentiond jewelry.  When I googled the name, I found that all of you had experienced this too.  So now I must find the cash to deposit into my account to cover my legitimate debits to prevent more overdraft charges.  VERY EXPENSIVE COSTUME JEWELRY!  I plan to call them first thing in the morning, and if I can get through to a person, I intend to give them an ear full.  They should also pay my overdraft charges! I don't have this much money to waste!

When checking my credit card statement, I noticed a charge from Holsted for $56.98 on April 27th (yesterday) which I did not order.
I called my credit card company to report this and the person I spoke with took care of the whole matter while I was on the phone.  Since I did not have Holsted's telephone number, SHE put me on hold and called them.  She put me in touch with a salesperson there and said the call would be recorded and she would stay on the line, to which I agreed.  I was told by the Holsted person that she would credit my account today and take me OFF the list of people to receive jewelry every two months, after I told her I did not want to remain on any such "list".  I would advise anyone who has a similar problem to call their CREDIT CARD COMPANY and let them handle it.  A call from a Credit Card Company gets results much quicker than just a person.

I agree with you all.  Let's put the phoney company out of business.  I ordered the rings and gave my charge for the shipping charges.  I got charged the shipping last month and now I have 3 charges for $58 plus on my charge.  I am calling my bank tomorrow to refuse these charges and will also write to the attorney general and anyone else I can think of to stop this false advertising, especially since it is done through the mail.  Hopefully when they get the refusal of charges they will know I'm serious and will stop charging my account.  You just have to be so careful about who you give your charge number to these days, there is so much fraud out there.

Here's what we are doing & I encourage you all to do the same: first, call your credit/ debit card company and dispute these charges. Second, call your local Better Business Bureau & file a complaint. These crooks already have an "F" rating. Yet they display a BBB logo that connects to Holsted Jewelers on NY. You will need their address: 7525 Cogswell Rd, Romulus, Michigan, 48174. I'm also contacting the FCC, since their site misrepresents who they are. I also plan to involve my congressman and am reporting it all to the Attorney General. I plan to take them down. Join me.

I reached the 800 number & an annoying woman told me, after much yelling, that the 2 charges of $56.98 would be refunded in 2-3 business days. That was Friday, 1/27. I'm going to get in touch with the BBB and anyone else who can help. I urge all of you to do the same.

My husband fell for this. He gave the credit card number for the shipping. The 2 rings that came are pure garbage. We were charged $56.98 twice. Now the fun begins to get the money back.

Be warned! This is a scam to get your credit card information. They lure you with two 'gifts' yet when you finally get the shipment, you get only 1 ring and one you could buy at any local Target or Wal-Mart. They used the old switch-and-bait and yet you still pay for shipping and handling for two rings when they only send one.

I have been informed that the saphire in the ring is not totally cut.  It is rough on the bottom and is not a "cut stone". It is only half-made. Therefore, it has no value. I would not recommend buying it.

i got a letter saying i won a ring and all i had to do was pay the S&H so i called them up and gave them my credit card number and when i got the ring i saw why the ring was free. it wasnt worth the $6.99 S&H they charged me. that was 6/21/11

today i checked my balance on my card and found it short so i called and checked with the bank and found out that this company HOM aka HOLSTED Jewelers had charged me TWICE for $56.98 for jewelery i did NOT want nor ask for.

I called then and asked WHY they was charging me and they said it was part of the collection. I said i never asked for any collection i didnt even like the ring they sent me.

They said they would credit me the 56.98 for the earrings they were about to send and when i recieved the earrrings they already shipped for me to return them and thennnnn they would credit me for those.

SCAM! just to get credit card numbers!!!

I ordered books from Black Expressions and was sent a postcard for a free garnet ring, just pay shipping. I go the ring and paid $ 6.99 shipping and was also offered the matching earrings to which I said no thank you I don't want anything else.  Well 2 months later there is a charge for $ 56.98 for those darn earring I did not want. They had the nerve to tell me I hadto wait 7 to 10 business days for the charge to be removed- CAN YOU SAY SCAM ARTIST!

My elderly neighbor has multiple charges on her credit card statement for various jewelry items, listed as HOM*BRW&WHT CZ Ring, HOM*S Pendant CZ, HOM*SAPPHIRE SWIRL RING etc. They are all for the same amount of $46.98. She says she never ordered nor received any of these items and doesn't remember getting any phone calls from them but the charges started appearing a few months ago with the number 800-671-2958 listed next to the item description.

My wife got the same errings, sent them back and was credited back all but 6.99.  They have some sort of affiliation with Cooking Club of America. I called just now and they Deidra stated that any further shipments have been canceled.
