This is the 4 time this number is on my ID caller, if they dont live a message... just to bad!  I dont answer 800 number. but I know it is from a marketting compagny from Québec.

Sollicting from Lava, Quebec "Conseil pour les aveugles" stuff for blind people. They answer you in French and they say "Hi would you help blind people" or stuff like that.
Put this on your Do not call list. It will block them.

Was solliciting in french (Laval, Quebec) for "Conseil pour les aveugles".  Told him I was on the nocall canadian list.  Asked him where he was calling from, his answer was from Senegal.  Told him that what he was doing is illegal in Canada.  Gave him a little piece of my mind and then he hunged up.

i answered "hello"
a man asked in french if i spoke french
"a bit, c'est concernant quoi ?" i asked
he said rudely, "someone will call you back in english"
"no, what is this about ?" i replied
click, he hung up the phone
i hate these calls.

I called the number back after receiving calls for several days. It is the Canadian Association for the Blind soliciting for donations.Automated message though, so I can't say if it's legit.

calls twice a day no sound or message

May 25th in the middle of the afternoon: no response to my "hello?" Who ever they are, I hope that they lose much money.

That sounds like good grounds to have your telephone provider get involved.   Maybe they are calling from India where no such laws apply, but our local providers can stop servicing the calls from these shady organizations who don't respect laws or wishes.

this number calls DAILY,non stop. after saying hello 3 times a very young girl started with the typical high-pitched " hi, how are YOUUUU today" and said that they were soliciting donations from some charity and that no they couldn't stop calling "cuz, like we're like a good thing, plus it's like, the government so like, you can't go against them".

so i told her that if she doesn't stop calling i will file criminal harrassment charges and that what they were doing was illegal.she said they couldn't take the name of the do not call list !!
