Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I did not answer the call and I do not have voice mail on my cell.  But no further call was received and I did not receive a call on any of my other phone numbers.  So, I believe it was a telemarketing call.

Had a toll free number call my cell phone, because i wasnt sure where or who it was I asnwered, it hung up, when i tried calling it back it told me to call back a different number to veify the number was correct, I hung up.

Saddest part, aside from those who fall for these scams, is the fact these scammers are getting paid to do this.  In other words, it is their employment.  In these hard times we have to take what money we can get our hands on to get by.  Most cases, telemarketers are paid a more than decent wage to make these calls and a better commission for hooking the fish, per se.  They are most likely trained to hang up if things start going south on their calls.  

I have done telemarketing, for charity and business.  Both were legit companies, charity not getting big bonus comm's for sales.  The big bonus comm's for sales position was for firefighter's equiptment, uniforns, heat resistant clothing and skin protection products.  The newbies to the job were given the cold call lists, small town fire stations, mostly volunteer departments or city paid.  Cold calling is the hardest part of jobs like that because if you don't hook that fish and start making sales soon you were "let go", fired from the job.

In some cases, it's feed the family or scam the public at large to make the dollar.  Personally, I'd almost rather beg for sp'ange on the street corner than scam someone out of their hard earned dollar.

Received a call on my mobile phone from 800-677-1445 and the automated message said there was something important regarding my Visa, Mastercard, Discover card, and Amex.  I really was not listening closely (driving) and I do carry personal and business credit cards, so I stupidly pressed 1 to be connected to an agent.  I was connected to a young man who mumbled through some opening script and I stopped him and asked if the company calling was one of my card issuers (they were not of course) and after a frustrating brief conversation I asked to be put on the DO Not Call (DNC) list.  The punk then says "good luck with those interest rates, they will never f****ng call you" and hung up.  I would love to find this guy and or the company.

Cardinal: I agree with you if they really want to talk to me they will leave me a voice mail. I never answer to ANYONE who is not in my address book! My aunt learnd that the hard way she answerd and they used her cell phone number to make "over seas calls" and when she got her phone bill it was over $1000. The phone company luckly was nice enough and did not make her pay for those charges. They said that they would shut down her old acct. and open a whole new one for her. There also is another scam going around I am not sure of the number. My best friends grandma got a call from someone she thought was her grandkid and the caller said "Grandma I am in a little trouble, I am in Canada in Jail could you bail me out please?" Well her grandma said honey I do not have money to do that. They never gave a set amount to how much it was. The caller then said "Well give me your credit card number they will use that they said." Right then she gave the phone to her husband and he said why didnt you call Judy. Caller "Judy who?" Your sister Judy. The caller then said um and hung up. So needless to say they just wanted her cc number! No matter what NEVER give out you cc number, to any over the phone that called you.

If you listen to the entire message as I did, a voice prompts you to press "1" to speek to a representative, or "2" to have your number deleted from their system.  Press "2" because talking with someone won't delete your number.

Yeah I got this call about 10 minutes ago and decided to google them and now im here! They also asked me the same and if i would wear a hula skirt and take pictures to paste and promote on some kind of calendar? How are these people getting my number and why are they allowed to do this?????????

They just called my cell phone about 45 minutes ago. Figured I'd google it and this is where it brought me. They offered to fly me to Europe for a minimal fee as long as I agreed to pose for tourist greeting cards.

Um.. what????

Got a call from this number today....i googled the number and it brought me here.

Are they allowed to call a persons cell phone? I thought that was against the rules so to speak.

Haha man seeing as that I got a call from 1 800 677 1445 and then finiding this site makes me wish I answered the call and messed with those people. Considering they woke me up, its the least I can do since sleep is WAY more important than lowering the ineterest rates on the credit cards that I do not have. Some people may know and some don't, never give out your card numbers as well as any personal info over the phone... great site!

Called my cell phone saying they could give me health care for less than three dollars.

800-677-1445 called me today 6/25/09 2:04 pm. i answered, and it hung up. i called back, it said i had an incorrect number.

Phone call came in on my 14 year old's cell phone a few minutes ago. My child does not answer calls from numbers that are not recognized or that are not in the contact list/address book. Unwanted and uninvited, this company should stop the cold calling.

Blowing a loud whistle or airhorn into the phone is the absolute best way to indicate a lack of interest! Easy for them to understand and satisfying too.

This is the second call I got from this number. National healthcare s***. I'm sick of getting these unsolicited calls. I used to get one about the factory warranty on my car being expired every couple of days. Funny thing, I just renewed my insurance and my car is only 6 months old!

My son who has Down Syndrome got a call from this number on his cell phone. I'm not sure what they said because he couldn't tell me.I used his phone to try to call the number back and was told that I had tried to call a number that could not be called from my area. It was an 800 number so I am confused!

Called my cell. Of course I do not answer if no name shows up on ID.  Am sick of companies selling my number, so when asked for a phone number when I write a check or place like radio Shack, Walmart, ect I give them the number of the Telephone Company. Heck, if they do not list on caller ID's the name of the business's they issue 800 numbers to, let THEM deal with the calls. My friend gives out the number of the Court House or Sheriff's Department.

I would love a dollar for everytime my telephone numbers are sold.

Just got a call from this number, but didn't pick up. When called back  got a disconnected number.  F*&^ EM!

I just received this call on my cellphone.  It was "an important message from National Heath Care Association", and to press 1 to speak with someone.  I pressed 1, and Kimberly came on the phone.  She immediately asked, "Are you interested in signing up for health care coverage today?"  I said, "Well, maybe, but I want to know what company you work for."  She immediately hung up.

Of course, when I called the number back, it is reported as disconnected.

I called Sprint, my cell phone provider, and they told me that the only way I could find out who really called me is to file a police report, and that only then could they trace the number through their "Subpoena Compliance Group."

I got this phone call this morning but, Missed It & When I called back It said It wasn't a working number!!! I thought It was sooo wierd. But, I guess now I know. It's sad I JUST got my number changed & Am having to deal w/ these idiots!!! Uh.

I called them back.  Disconnected number.  Whaddya know.
