As much as we pay for phone service. Why cant someone stop these calls. they dont leave any messages or anything . where can we get help

No message-if you say hello, it goes to second ring, so listening for human voice.

They call everyday.

No message left...no response when phone answered...these kind of calls must STOP..annoying..time consuming..and don't call if you have absolutely nothing to say

get one of these calls almost every day on my business phone.  When answering no one responds.  I call the number back and I get a series of beeps and then a fax sound

Hesitation like no one is there, but then asked for Erika...then went rudely and then impatiently said "Hel-looooooo?" I said "There is no one here at that name" then they said "ok sir, we will remove your number have a nice day."

i also had the same problem for the past couple months..same times that others have posted, even on saturdays..after reading all these posts on here, i called them back and got a foreigner..i immediately started chewing him out, saying i've been getting these calls for weeks and for him to take my number off the list because i do not have any debts whatsoever..i said if he did not i would report them to the better business bureau..he stopped me and asked if  was "some name i couldnt understand", but it wasnt anything like my name, so i said no, he asked for my phone number to take me off and said it would take about 24-48 hours for itto take effect..geez

It's not a collection agency when they call our place.

This number is a financial institute trying to get you to refinance loans.   We got a new number this morning. It is blocked and nobody can get it. How did they get it. They had been calling the old number.

They call me 3-4 times daily. Now that I've read this, I will answer and cuss their as*es out. Thanks everybody.

I too have been getting calls from this number for awhile and just like all of you they hang up so I called them today the woman I talked to was very nice and told me they were looking for people from my number and gave me their names I told them no one with those names use this number so she said give 48 hours and my number would be off their list so lets hope this worked... also I noticed after i switched to timewarner cable they sold my info. and now all kinds of places keep calling me so be carefull

Very tired of receiving calls from this number about 4 times per day at home and 2 times per day at work.  Whoever it is never leaves a message and if I do answer, no one is ever there...the calls start at 8 in the morning and end at 9 at night.

every single day this number calls at least 3 or 4 times. it needs to stop. do not call registry is a joke. i called this number back once, and it told me it was out of service. yeah. these people need to get a life. i work for the feds and i could have them prosecuted to the fullest extent. they need to stop. no one leaves a message. they need to stop and get their act together. thats all i am going to say.

I am being harassment by being called two to three times a day by 1-888-6802954.
I have a disabling impaiment:
1). Cervical radiculopathy.
2). Cervicalia.
3). Cervical disc disease.
4). Cervical disc herniation.
5). Cervical post laminectomy syndrome.
6). Chronic pain syndrome
INVESTIGATIONS: MRI of the cervical spine done on 11/30/2009 shows disc protrusion at C3-C4 with theacal sac impingement and cenrtral spinal canal arrowing with suggestion of indentation/ contaction the spinal cord. This person or company continue to humiliate and I am disabled.

I have a brand new home phone number, so I know this call was not for me. What I hate is that they call at 8:00am on a Saturday morning, wake me up and when I answer their is silence. I wish Diarrhea on them!!!

Got the call the first time today on my house phone; I did not answer.  A few minutes later, the call came through on my cell phone.

I hate these people!!!!  They are calling the wrong number - I have told them that soooooo many times.  I told them to take me off of their stupid calling list.  I am not the person they are trying to call.  What can you do to make them understand  - QUIT calling me!!!!!  then they get snotty at me because they think I am lying.

No one there when call is answered

Got a call from this 1886802950 first long silence than recorded infor they are a debt collection agency.  Called the number back and man at the other end was looking for someone I knew in college and wondered if I had their phone number.  I did not give them any info other than that.  Wierd as I have a new phone number that has been changed multiple times and I had at least 12 moves since knowing this person.

The caller calls and hangs up when I answer.

Same as the man above. Rings no answer.

These people have called me a few times in the last weeks but no one is on the line or I get a recording about 'any info will be used for collection purposes'.  This morning I answered and an Indian lady asked for my former sister in law (who has never lived with me).  I divorced her brother almost twenty years ago and have lived in two other states since then. The last time I saw her was about 12 years ago when I was visiting my sister. Either the collection agency is going through really old court papers or I need to put fraud alert on my credit report.

My fax has been receiving calls from this number at minimum 3-5 times daily at all times for months. Just called them again to have my number removed from their calling list. "Customer service" rep was defensive when I asked her to repeat the business name and inquired about what they do. She said they are a "financial corporation" but before she hung up on me said that the call had been monitored. Not two minutes later they called my cell phone!  Typical, no one was on the line. Don't call them to take you off their list except from the number they already have because they just add the new number to their list. DUH - should have known!

Back... The companys name is Allied Interstate and they are a collection agency.  Check it, I think they call random numbers to show they are working in case a supervisor is calling.  As we all know they never say anything usually, so my theoey is they are pretending to make cold calls to places tehy are supposed to but in reality they are doing jack s*** to waste thru the days.  Im sure they hate their job

Same thing here, same number, no answer.. EXCEPT ONE TIME: it was a black guy that was on the other end and he was talking like really low pitch and monotone.  Maybe they are a vampire collection agency testing to see if we are home so they can pop up from under our beds and take our blood to sell to asian luck dragons who are to lazy to do the job themselves; when in reality its probably just some black guy who has an 888 and 800 number who are trying to steal any white women that might be in our home.

Phone Rings Every Morning Around 8:30 I Answered A Couple Of Times They Hung Up. Now I Look At The Caller ID And Don't Answer. Has Been Going On For A Couple Of Weeks

same thing. they have been calling for a year now... several times a day, at even odd hours. How can I make them stop? They even wake up my baby.

When I answer they either ask for someone who doesn't live here or there isn't anybody on the other end.
