Receive a couple of calls from this number but I am usually at work so I can't answer, they don't leave a message.  

I've been receiving daily calls I asked them to send a bill for what I owned that I supposedly bought last March.  They didn't have an address.  So how could they send me merchandise that I bought?  What can be done about these scams that others are also being called from  "bill me later?  

I got a call from what sounded like a phishing request: it asked for (my full name), then asked for my birth date. I didn't give it, and was connected to a person who refused to explain who was calling until I gave them more personally identifying information. I refused, but they said to call 888 656 4577, which is associated with Bill Me Later, a Paypal company, though it's not listed on their web site. I phoned Bill Me Later through their published number, and it turns out I actually do have a balance with them. So although this number is built like a scam, it may actually be for real -- or it may be a scam and just got lucky in guessing that I had an outstanding Paypal balance.

There are (WORTHLESS) government agencies that are SUPPOSED to stop this kind of s***.  However, since these slugs are every bit the equivalent to the worthless b*****ds that call you, DO YOU REALLY EXPECT ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY TO DO ANYTHING ???  You can raise hell with them until you turn blue and it does no good.  Think ":CIVIL SERVANTS"
The "Do Not Call List" is as worthless as a 3 legged racehorse.  Log on and read the "reviews:" of all the "happy" people.

While I can appreciate your comments, I do not have any delinquent debts, at all.  These companies call my number because my name is similar to another person or persons who do have debts.  No matter how many times I tell them I am not the person they are trying to reach -- and I have no way of getting in contact with the person they are attempting to hound for payment -- I continue to receive frequent telephone calls.  It is an understatement to say I am angry and frustrated at receiving the frequent calls and being unable to have them cease.  Due to the unrelenting calls, I no longer answer ANY calls with numbers or IDs I do not recognize.

It's too bad that there isn't a government oversight committee in charge of regulating the business operations of collection agencies.  If there were, they could be enabled to audit a company's business records (without warning to allow them time to doctor the notes) or have surprise on site inspections (the Health Inspectors do it all the time) and levy fines right then and there without judge or jury being involved, based soley on what they see on site.  It would be even better if the fines were levied against both principle (the company or manager) and agent (the person on the phone).  Of course "I was only doing my job" is a cop-out but the fine should be less for the agent, say 1000$ vs. 5000$

Bill Me Later called and said we were overdue for a payment this month. Pulled up my account and sure enough, the wife forgot to make a payment. Dude asked if I would like to make a payment over the phone, which would be fine with me, but I noticed a late fee attached to my account. My statement said I would owe this months payment and next months plus a late fee on the 2nd of nesx month. I asked him if he would remove the late fee if I paid today. He said that he would not. I told him that since I had already been charged for the luxury of paying this months charges next month, that's when I would pay it. He didn't say anything, Buh Bye!

Believe me, - bill me later is connected to pay pal. By accident I hit billmelater, but cancelled. Later two  different items I used pay pal, and they automatically went to bill me later without me knowing it. Now that I got that straightened out they still call me.   STOP USING PAY PAL   ! ! ! !

Called a recently deceased co-worker's number. Pressed 4 to say the person doesn't live here (since it is a business). It connected me to a nice agent who explained it was an auto-dialer that calls out and he was able to remove the name from other accounts that would be using their company to call. It sounds as if it is a collection agency.

I gave bill me later my Google.voice number, so I.don't have.to listen to their nonstop phone calls.

Let bill me later know about the lack of messages and inept calls. They have an excellent support system.

You need to contact them. This is simply a site that people can post info about a number not the people who own the number.

Write them and tell them so.

Places like that shouldn't exist and I hope they get sued. I bet they're a great resource for criminals and juveniles.

Not these days. You can lose a job because of bad credit. Or pay increased insurance for your home and car because of bad credit.

They are asking you to pay as you said you would. Companies don't stay in business if they aren't paid. You expect your employer to pay you don't you?

They will continue to rack up late fees until you pay them and if you don't they will take you to court which costs you more money.

If you have a good reason not to pay them just tell and they will probably work with you.

I use Bill Me Later Often,  i pay all of my bills 2 weeks in advance, lately i've been getting nonstop cals from them stating my bill is do a month later!!! I keep telling them i never needed them to remind me before i don't need them to start reminding me.. when i FINALLY got someone on the line i had them review my account.. and specifically asked "Have i EVER been late before?" they responded  (the way i knew they would) with  "No M'am, from what i can see here you have never been late ona payment" so when i asked "why the heck do you keep calling me then" there response was "to make sure that you don't start becoming late" WTF??!!!

This number has called me 2 tims since yesterday I don't have a bill me later account I've never even purchased anything over the internet I don't even have a credit card nor even a bank account

800-684-4340 keeps calling saying I owe them money when I don't. The call is automatic everyday and anytime of the day
