they didn't believe me when I said the number they called was not a residence, nor did they believe I was not "Elizabeth".

I just got the CELL PHONE NUMBER they called just one week ago - and I can't change it as I just put this number on at least 10 resumes and submitted them with job applications!!  arrgghhhh

This may be the same collections agency that keeps calling for a Natasha Hill.  I have REPEATEDLY told them there is no Natasha Hill at my cell phone, and that I do not know her.  I have repeatedly told them I am on the DO NOT CALL list and they need to remove me.  They get bitchy and tell me that until they get another number, they will continue to call and if I want it to stop - to have Natasha pick up.  WTF?  I have had this phone number for 3 1/2 years, but the calls didn't start coming in until about 18 months ago.  I had thought they had taken me off their list after I filed a complaint with the FTC about 4 months ago, but they appear to be back - this time without leaving messages.  Bastards - I hope they rot.

Caller identified as Penncro Associate, asking for a Manuel something.  I informed them that it's a wrong number and asked to be removed from their calling list.  Called a few times a day in the past few weeks, and would not cease after repeatedly told they got the wrong person.

Well telling them that I would file a complaint worked- it took a day for them to get me off their dialer (they called 2 more times that day- and apologized when they did- one explained that it takes 24 hours for the dialer to delete the number) I haven't heard from them since! yea!

I also continue to get calls from this number for a person who no longer has this number- and I have no clue who they are. I have spoke to them multiple times regarding the above and they still call. The last time they called ( a few minutes ag0) I made him spell the company name out for me- told them AGAIN that I don't know that person and that if they call me again I will file a harassment complaint on them. The caller was very rude-stating that this is the number they were given and they are just doing their job. I told them it wasn't my problem and reiterated about the harassment complaint. I'll let you know if that works...Something should be done because they are out of control!

These people call me several times a day on my work cell phone; I've tried being rude, not answering, hanging up, all after explaining that whomever they were asking for didn't own this phone. After telling them that it was a business cell phone, the moron asked me if we had an employee named whatever... I told them I was sorry but I didn't know every one of the 26,000 employees that work for the company.

im nocturnal, and recieve 15-20 calls from this number a day. it has gotten so i cant even use my cell for the reason i got it in the first place (EMERGENCIES that happen while im sleeping during the day) and i ahve to turn it off...

checked my credit report, i have zero negative active reports, noone answers when i try to call back, because of course im asleep when they call. i am on the do-not-call, i have managed to answer the phone once or twice and inform them to stop calling, even going as far as to file a police harassment report yesterday.its getting to a point where my lawyer will be my only option and i will keep everyone posted, as he informs me we may have a better chance with a class action lawsuit...

this number called me 8 times today. when i answer they hang up!!

the 800 number calls my cell phone 5 times and day leaves no message. asked to be removed but they can't seem to get that done, something needs to happen to these people they are racking up charges on my cell.

They have been prank calling me for no reason.

they call 10+ times a day and say nothing on the line orleave no message. they used to call and ask for a juan whoever. no one i know. it all started within 1 hour of activating my cell phone 3 mos ago. looked online and it is penncro associates. debt collecting. but that compamy is foul.

These people call and just leave the 800 number to call.  They do not say who they are just to call.  I'm sorry I just do not call 800 numbers because they want me to.  The number does not show up on caller id.

maybe if u take da time to explain to them if its a bad numbr they can help u

Hey guys, FYI, I have had all kind of these collection companies calling me and as a person who has past debt I would always hide from these calls and believe me, they never stop.  Anyway, lately I have been taking the calls and every single time it has been a debt for someone else with the same name.  I always ask them to give me the last 4 of the social associated with the account and it's always the wrong numbers.  They then remove me from their list.  Maybe some of you can try this as well.

This is a collection agency for Bank of America credit cards.

on your cell phone, you have the ability to keep 100 contact numbers.  Each of those numbers, friends, family, businesses, etc...you can assign a ring tone...one of many or just one for all.  You have to do it individually.  Then set your call in tone to none and vibrate to none.  Then, when one of these sleeze balls calls on a non friendly number...one that is not in your 100 contact numbers, your phone will not ring or vibrate.  It doesn't solve the problem of them calling, but it may give you satisfaction that they are completely wasting their time.

I've had numerous calls from this number, as soon as I answer it hangs up. This happens a couple of times a day at least. There has to be some sort of agency or perhaps the phone company can do something to assist.Calling back is futile.

i got same problem with you with same number...the worse thing is they always ask about someone that I did not know in MY PHONE 5 TIMES A DAY!!! Luckily I used P990 and I bought a program called McCleaner for phone UIQ3 that can block unwanted calls
