Received a call, no message left.

They called twice in less than 2 mins, didn't leave message.  
I googled the number and spotted on several sites that reported when people DID have contact with them they said they were from Verizon.  
I called Verizon on a number I KNOW IS INDEED Verizon, they tried to locate it on their system but were UNABLE TO VERIFY that this is one of their numbers.  
SOOOO  DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO TO THIS NUMBER!!  The customer service rep was going to turn this number into their supervisor for further investigation.

I forgot to add that according to the Verizon Service Rep, ALL OFFICIAL CALLS FROM VERIZON ARE REQUIRED TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!!  SO if you DO get a call from this number DON'T ANSWER but report the call to Verizon immediately!

They call several times a day, and the only message is a beeping hang-up sound.  No Caller ID other than the number.  I'm pissed...

These guys are from VERIZON. I do have caller ID they kept calling, and calling because I didn't pay my bill on time.
It was annoing gettings these calls to our home number.
I got mad and went to a VERIZON CENTER and made the payment.
Today,few hours later again they called. This time they showed their number 1-800-684-8422 I am assuming because I paid the past due amount.
They are so STUPID same as MACYS.

This call actually worked out well for me.  The guy probably was wanting to sell me something.  I vented on him regarding my defective Motorola Adventure V750 that the Verizon store sold me, and how many hours it has taken me so far at the store as the sales associate attempted to fix its defective parts.  Because I was so pissed off, the guy told me to take everything I'd bought back to the store for a refund.  I will only have to pay $35, because of the 30-day warranty.

Called me at work and told me to hold, like a dummy I did for a minute. They came back on and said to hold for the next available agent. That's when I hung up. This number has come up a couple of times. Now I know its Verizon, so Verizon, knock it off!

This number called once, didn't answer, then called right back and i answered.  The person said she was from Verizon Wireless.  they offered me a free one month trial or something for V-pack.  I told her no thank you and she didn't mind, quick and painless.  Not sure if it was legite or not since she was pretty quick to give up.  Probably some sort of scam, as usual...

It was Verizon (or a partner of Verizon "we're basically Verizon," calling to sell me some VCAST thing. Long of the short of it is, she said she'd put me on the "Do Not Call" list. I also called Verizon to make sure I wasn't getting charged minutes on my cell phone (wasn't) and also opted out of any kind of marketing whatsoever from Verizon's marketing team. Worth the few minutes if it works.

Yes. I got a call from the same number. It was Verizon. Left a message asking how I like my new cell phone.

Been getting these calls on my cell phone over the last couple weeks - 2nd call attempt in 2 min if I don't answer.  Finally today they left a message - it was my cell provider, Verizon.  They wanted to sell me a new service plan.  B*****ds.  Using my Verizon cell phone to do this.  I paid them to do it, apparently.  I'm very tempted to jump to AT&T (not that they are any less evil, but they have iPhone).

Got a call from this number ignored it and they called back right away, that was yesturday 10/14/08.  Today the same thing happened.
