I left my desk at work for five minutes and came back to find I had missed two calls from this number. They are calling my direct desk number. I called the number, chose a random menu item (2) and told the person who answered about it. She was very nice, apologised and said they would remove the number immediately.

I told her I would report them if I got another call - we'll see.

why am i being called?

i have gotten calls from the 800-686-7022 number over 5 months like over 100 calls to me and i pick up my phone and this 800-686-7022 keeps hanging up EVERY TIME after just 4 seconds( I CAN'T EVEN FIND OUT WHO IS CALLING ME), make sure you block this STUPID, 800-686-7022 number. it keeps calling me like 3 times a day Monday to Friday, i think for sure it's some kind of automated dialer or something, just anyway make sure you block this POS.

This number belongs to Lincoln College of Technology online.  I dont understand why these places cant  list their name with the number.  I think that is very irresponsible.

I tell them to stop calling and they just don't stop.

They have called me for days.  Never leaving a message.  I finally answered one of their calls and told them to stop calling.  I have gotten calls like this from at least 10 companies. All saying I requested information, which I did not.  I'd like to know how they got my number etc.
