I've been using Life Line Screening for several years as I do not have medical insurance. I've done the panel of tests 4 times now and it beats paying mainstreams MDs or hospitals their highway robbery prices.  Of course your doctors will pooh-pooh this service as it cuts into their profits.  The ladies doing the tests have been trained to use these machines just like they would in an MDs office, hospital or ER.  They are just like a lot of young women who work in the med field and are hired locally.  They rent space in churches and community centers to do these tests and it is mostly seniors who have no health insurance or want a 2nd opinion who use this service.  Yes, perhaps at times they make a mistake in what test you order, but that does not mean they are a worthless service... hospitals make mistakes all the times, sometimes cutting off the wrong leg or operating on the wrong side and much worse.  I'd rather get tests down OUTSIDE of a hospital an avoid chances of getting MRSA, or other deadly infections.

4/29 12:14 Shows as unavail. and no message left.  Reading other reports, I did have tests run thru Life Line about 5 yrs. ago and recently received mail from them suggestion I get tested again.  I'm guessing that is where they got my phone # from, but no ID, no answer, no matter what!

I just got a call - no message, no identifier, just a hang-up. I've used LifeLine screening in the past, but if they're going to spam me with phonecalls, I won't do so in the future.

it is lifeline screening, you may have done this in the past or filled out a medical questionnaire of some sort in your past. they offer health screenings for approx. 100 dollars, stroke detection, etc

This man calls me, asks for me by name and then hangs up when I say "this is she".. Calling to verify my number? Finding out if I'm home? Scary!

This is a legit business and I've gone three times and was pleased with their professionalism and their charges which are a mere fraction of what your doctor would charge. I have no idea what the 800 number is about but as a company they are well perceived in the Springfield Mo. area.

Called. Did not leave a message. This number called yesterday and left no message. I am considering disconnecting my phone because of continuous telemarketers.

I've had 3 calls from this number JUST TODAY. They have called other days as well. How do you stop these calls? My Google search on this number led me here so I assume it's Lifeline Screening although I didn't answer.

Medical calls are supposed to be PRIVATE, not disseminated through the household. They are violating the medical privacy of the HPPA privacy laws.

Did not answer. No message left on answering machine. Safari search says it is Lifeline Screening. Do not want their calls. Sick of telemarketers. Get their ads in the mail and if I wanted their services I would have replied. Thinking about having my phone disconnected.

This number has been calling me a few times a day and the caller identified herself as being with LifeLine Screening.  I have gone to them a few times for their regular package which tests your carotid arteries, abdominal aorta and your vascular system.  I did not have a problem with them at all and felt that I got what I paid for.  Someone in my office went to them and found out that she had an abdominal aortic aneurism that was quite severe.  They told her to contact her doctor ASAP.  She had major surgery to repair her abdominal aorta soon after and credits LifeLine Screening with saving her life.  My favorite uncle died recently from an abdominal aortic aneurism that he did not know he had and I feel badly that I never told him to go to LifeLine Screening.  LifeLine Screening has always been very professional for me and I do not have anything negative to say about them.

We get calls from 800-690-7493 several times a day everyday and nobody on the other end at least they never respond to "Hello"

My husband is the type to worry about being ill even when he has no symptoms.  He had every cardiac test done that our insurance would allow, but it showed nothing.  Against my better judgement I paid for my husband to be "tested" by LifeLine about 6 years ago. Although I do like the concept of being able to privately pay for additional medical tests, this company used technicians who were very unprofessional and unskilled.  The tests were of very poor quality and therefore worthless.  The reviewer above called Molly's Mom described it accurately:  "Their "testing" basically determined if you were breathing and had a pulse."  Now even 6 years later they still hound me with phone calls.  Lately it has been 2-3 times a day!  I did request that my name be removed from their calling list the last time this happened, so now I'm putting in a complaint with the FCC.  Very irritating.  I hope others do their research before wasting money with them.

This is annoying as heck. I never answer unless I know the caller.  I deal with every blasted call like this by adding it to contacts, naming it Telemarketer and setting the ringtone to No Ring.

They're starting to call a couple of times a week. Don't spend money on these jamokes. Or, if you must, send them your money and don't show up for the exam. Your absence will do the same amount of good.

I used them once several years ago.  My doctor said I was wasting my money!

They are repeatedly calling my cell number and it is unsolicited.

It is indeed Life Line Screening.  They are a very unprofessional barrel of clowns and I keep telling them that I will never use their services again.  First of all, they tell you one charge, and you get there, in a hall at the back of a church, and they start telling you all the critical extra tests that you need and must pay for.  Then they take, literally a couple drops of blood, stick it into a little machine that looks like a credit card processor, and in no time it returns a plethora of medical test results What a set of charlatans.

The results had me thinking that I was going to die at any minute, so altho I do not have insurance, I went to see a doctor.  He looked at their report and the first thing he did was laugh and asked me whether I was a female smoker.  I am a 6'2" 255 lb male non-smoker!!!  They put my name on someone else's results.  If I had the resources to do so, I would sue their a***s off.

This phone rang and when I answered a man's voice asked for Norma Boyd. I said "This is she." and the phone went dead. A couple hours later the same number came up on caller ID. I didn't answer and no message was left.

Got a call from this number on a Saturday afternoon, and when I answered no one was there. Tried calling it back and it says Life Line Screening, which I already know they are a joke. My dad had them do some tests,etc, and they don't have a clue what they are talking about. They told my dad he needed to lose weight. Excuse me?? My dad is only 5' 4" and weighs around 135, give or take, and according to his REAL doctor, he's healthy as a man of 75 can possibly be. It was dad's insurance that told him he had to have them check him out. I don't know what they wanted, because when I called them back, the recording said their offices were closed....So why are they calling my house then?

THEY suck!!  Life Line Screening is a joke!!  I did it a few years ago and their people who a bunch of trashy new hires that knew nothing about what they were doing....wish I have never spent the money....but they will never get another penny from me....stay away from Life Line Screening
