I did the same dumb thing to "give" them my money for this fake vacation. I just want to know if there are any good ways to get my money back from these jerks.

I am the same victim. After paying my vacation package and activation fees, I can never get anybody answer the phone nor email. Can we do someting again these jerks to get our money back???

I actually talked to those people to buy a couple of vacations from them. They sent me the materials and asked me to activate. I did. Then I tried to call this number to follow up with my vacation, no body answer the phone anymore. I believed that I was cheated by them. They call themselves encore tours & travel. Can someone elaborate on this scam? Any actions can be taken on them to get my money back??

Contact your bank RIGHT AWAY, tell them you were scammed and show them a copy of this thread on whocallsme. Ask them to notify their fraud dept, and reverse the charges so you can get your money back. They will cancel your account and provide you with a new one. Be sure to notify all companies you do legitimate business with of the account change, and put a fraud alert on your credit report.

we were had to the amount of over $4,000. on a family vacation. what a scam. Never ever deal with these jerks. if it sounds too good it is a lead on.

My sister received a fax from this number about vacation packages and a cruse.  We called and because they had a number where we could call back and were able to reach them.  However, after paying our $500.00 and sending in the package information requested, we began trying to call them as of today, and are unable to reach them.  Now, they won't answer the phone, and I can't get through on the email, and I'm  being told that their voice message box is full and then they hang up.  I feel that I've been scammed!  I want to know how to report them and get my money back.  Can you help us with getting this information?

I LOVE the dogsh** idea.  SInce I ran all these blasted numbers from all these junk faxes...and I'm reading all of you guys' posts...its so awesome reading some of the really creative ways you all have of getting back at these a**holes!  LOVE IT!

AWESOME!  Sounds like a fun idea! Some get-back for all the crap insurance, travel, etc faxes these a***oles keep sending!

Received fax from company that claimed to be a Travel booking company.  When I called them at 1-855-226-2825 they told me their name was Encore Tours and Travel also known as Vacation Destinations.  They said the reason their prices are so cheap is because they sell corporate travel vouchers.  They only wanted routing and checking account numbers to pay for the packages.  NO WAY!!!!!!!!!  This has to be a scam!    Beware!!!!!!!

They don't sound professional and they are not listed with the Better Business Bureau.

I actually did purchase a "vacation" from this company.  Gave them my bank account info.  They took out twice as much as they said they were going to.  They sent my "vacation packet" certified mail with no return address. I was supposed to receive two flights to Vegas and a two night stay at a hotel of my choice with absolutely no black out dates and no additions costs or fess other than hotel taxes.  What I received were two different pages of terms of terms and conditions both completely contradicting each other and what I was told.  One was printed running half way off the page and had several misspelled words.  I also received  four activation information cards.  Two were companion airfare cards  where you supposedly buy one flight and get the other flight free.  Not what I was told!  They also want you to pay $98 in the form of a money order sent to a PO Box to activate the free flight.  The other two were for the hotels.  One in Miami and one in Vegas.  I NEVER said I wanted a trip to Miami.  They want you to send $70 in the form of a money order for each of the hotel activation cards.  It states in the terms and conditions that if you receive two travel certificates you must activate both to receive your vacation.  It also states you can only check in on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.  SO I called the company to find out why I was over charged and why I was lied to.  I was passed around to several different people hung up on several times and completely disrespected. I was told I must be stupid if I can't follow directions, and to just sign the paper and send in my money and I'll get my vaction. I was told I had no authority and he was the authority so I needed to check myself.  When I asked his name he told me "John Smith".  He never let me talk or actually get an entire question out of my mouth.  He just kept rambling and talking over me telling me what an idiot I had to be if I couldn't understand the paperwork.  Needless to say TOTAL scam!

Well, that is exactly what happened to me this morning when I called and started asking questions. I was hung up twice by different people. They would not give me a website name. They say there are no black-out dates, etc etc. Beware people, this is a scam and you'll never see your money again. People like them should be ashamed of "working" in such a fake company stealing money from unsuspecting people. Always ask questions, always!!

We are on the "no call" list and have continued to receive phone calls from these people. Stop calling  &/or faxing our business.

Right down the street is this place which on Google Maps if you zoom in really close says that there is a travel Agency here as well as a printing company... Use this information as you wish.

They just ripped me off!! I never recieved anything and they started yelling and screaming at me when I called....B*****DS

I tracked down the A-- Holes who keep sending unwanted faxes listed as "Luxury Vacations" with a caller I.D. listed as H.A.M. Marketing. The real company is listed below.  The best thing we can all do to help shut them down is to sit down with your phone and keep using your redial feature to call them over and over again until they hang up. If we all do this, it will cause them to do nothing but answer the phone with no one there and they might get the hint that it's time to get out of business.

The other option is to pick up some fresh dog poop and stick it in an envelope and mail it to them at the below address, nothing better than a nice fresh piece of s--t for a piece of s--t company like this.
