Did anyone find out about this being a scam? I thought it sounded like a scam.

Sounds like a SCAM to me. They want your $1588 up front on the *possibility* of hiring you for a job? What legit employer will do that? Don't give out any personal info. This is a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. There is no job, they just want to steal your money and possibly your ID.

This company offers a management position with their 5 year old company, but they will never say where their head offices are, only that they operate in 8 states.  I have not been able to find them listed with any Secretary of State as doing business in any state.  They claim to get their business leads thru Sales Genie, but Sales Genie has never heard of them, at least not under this name.  They request $1588 deposit from the new affiliate to help offset their cost (over $5000) to get the first set of leads for the area.  They utilize a web video to explain the business, which is offering cash advance on credit card receipts for businesses, then the CEO calls for an interview.  However, in the "interview" he only asked me one question and used the rest of the time describing the job. The other name that shows up in the email sent with "affiliate profile" is First Rate Biz Services.  The domain name is registered with an alias and is only a month old.
When I started asking questions they stopped calling.
