I got a call from this number. They left a message asking me about a survey for my health insurance. I've gotten the survey in the mail and have ignored it. Apparently they really want me to fill it out.

That "do not call" list is useless.  You get more calls when you are on it, than if you aren't on it!  Pointless. I was on it and had it happen to me, now I just give out my Google voice number instead of my cell number and blocking is easy!  Also if you have an Android phone you can get an app called Mr Number that let's you look up the number, block it, send it to voicemail, or simply hang up.  REALLY useful.

this number called me last night saying they were from the place i work for.....so i don't think its the group you think it is considering its NOT my company that was calling

Just called our office & left a message, they never identified their company's name but that they were calling about a health care survey that was sent to us in the mail regarding our coverage. experience, etc. & asked that we kindly return it or we could take it online.  We did receive a survey in the mail from our insurance company so I'm surprised that this might actually be legit.?.?.

Answered a call from this number (caller id showed the number and read TOLL FREE NUMBER) and an Indian-sounding woman asked for me by name. She then rattled off some unintelligible health company ending in "Medicare", then asked for my birthdate to "confirm she was speaking to the right member of the plan." Riiiight, I didn't just fall off a turnip truck! She got angrier as I repeatedly refused to give her my birthdate, asked what kind of scam this was, etc. Finally she said I'd be getting a letter in the mail. FWIW I do have Medicare - but to the best of my knowledge they always communicate via US Mail.... Some kind of scam involved here!

It is a survey company. Calling to do a survey with you about a healthcare experience you've recently had. They truthfully are calling for your opinion.

If you have an android phone, download WhoCall app. It makes it really easy to block any calls and it's free. Not sure if it's available for iPhone, but I'm sure they have something similar.

Thanks for the info about the number...just got a call from them too. I never answer a number I don't recognize, especially 800#'s. If it's important, they'll leave a message.

I got a call from this number but didn't answer. They did leave a recorded message that I should call back for a health care survey.  

in order to block unwanted numbers from your cell phone this is what I do ( I have a Samsung Galaxy). I add the number as a contact (using the name Reject), then I go into the contact menu,  there is an option to "add to reject list". When they call on the cell, its rejected. I don't even hear it ring. For those with in home fax machines, you can add the numbers to your junk fax box, when they call on your home phone, the fax machine automatically recognizes the number as a junk fax and blocks it. Hope this info helps.

This darn folks have nothing else to do but pester us during the evenings when we think it's a time for relaxation. Many folks are cancelling their land line, making the telephone company loose money!

You knuckleheads need to download a free call zapper, like I did, and quit whining about the calls. You're spineless weasels otherwise, ... you would answer your phones and tell the A$$WIPE$ to quit bothering you.

The Myers Group is an independent, third party, research firm and they are EXEMPT from the DNC registry as they do not sell anything or collect money. It is, in fact, a violation of HIPAA laws to remove anyone who refuses to confirm that it is his/her own number or a wrong number. It is also a HIPAA violation to leave voicemail messages when making outbound calls. This company gets all data directly from the health insurance companies and if you do not want to be randomly selected for voluntary surveys, please contact your health insurance carrier directly to ensure that your account will not be selected.
In the meantime, all you have to do is call the number back and simply say "My name is ____ ____ at phone number ____ and I would like you to remove me from your list." You will be advised that it may take 48-72 hours to remove the data and to disregard any further correspondence. It's that simple.

Regardless of who these people are - their calls are UNSOLICITED.  We should not be harassed in our own homes - have to buy gadgets to block  them, turn our ringers or answering machines off.  Even though I am on the do not call list, I am still bombarded with calls.  I finally changed our answering machine to reflect we are on the do not call list and they will be reported to the FTC - if that doesn't initially stop them, then a report to the FTC will.

Reporting to the FTC does work - but it takes time for them to respond.  The last one I did they responded three weeks later and told me I could get compensated for $1500 but would have to file a claim in  the state where the call originated - I should have followed through and split it with a local attorney.  The next caller that is persistent will find the FTC contacting them and then I will see if an attorney wants to make some quick cash.

They will not remove me without my name.  They have the number but say they will not cannot help without my name.

Please note all these numbers are porn/explicitly sexual calls  harassing  my MINOR son!!! Please report to authorities!!!

These fools called and I saw it as an incoming call... This was at least the 5th time in as many days (missed calls/voicemail w/no message). So, I answered and said nothing. A female said "hello" - I replied "Stop calling me, drop dead, thank you"...

Please discontinue use of this 800-692-0041 number.  Annoying calls are being received by 808-692-0041 instead!

We have rec'd numerous calls from these people.  My husband and I each answered one time and told them to stop calling.  No luck.  We have caller ID and never answer unless we know the caller.  Even if it is legal for them to call, it borders on harrassment for them to continue calling after being told not to.

got call las night from this phone number and she asked for my son.  when I told her I was his legal guardian and what did she want she very quickly stated she wanted nothing and hung up.  thank you for the direct line as I will call and tell them to stop calling.  the woman told my husband it had to do with insurance and he turned her over to me.  guess she didn't like my answer. too bad

The same thing happens to me.  They call almost daily and when I go to answer noone is there and it hangs up.  Quite annoying.
