Called at 10:50 AM

That number is apart of a business that is an affialiate to local.com that wishes to put your business online a yellowpage type website.  It will offer a type of business plan that will use your phone number as a billing number if you don't cancel the the service in 30 days.

It is linked to Google -- mine because I bought a domain name through them. JUST SAY NO. Google is linking to many "businesses" that will bill you every way they can for no service in return.

This is the 2nd day they have called, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.  No message left.

Some kind of internet yellow pages scam.  Don't give these clowns any information or your telephone bill will be much bigger, and the phone company won't help you.

It's from LocalInternetListing.com and they are trying to sell you something -- it's a scam so asked to be deleted from their call list and complain to the National Do Not Call Registry:https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

It's LocalInternetListing.com and they are trying to sign you up for a free trial for something you don't need. Another scam!

Many calls from this number. Blocked ID

Returned a call to this number after they called constantly. Was told they just wanted to make sure they had the correct info about my company for a FREE information website. They spoke alot of mumbo-jumbo and then I noticed the person saying "there is no contract but if you do not want this service after the free 30 days all you have to do is CALL US AND WE WILL CANCEL THE $49.95 charge per month"  Waht happened to FREE< told them in no uncertain terms, NO_NO_NO-and NEVER CALL AGAIN>

Found this through Google. The BBB is getting complaints this is a scam that bills you for unwanted services. Even though you say NO, they sign you up and start billing you. This number is one of several they use and is listed near the bottom of the BBB report:

The people with the 1-800-695-5421, claim to be from locallisting.com.  They say that your business is automatically listed online and that they are calling to update the listing. They proceed to say that my business will be the premier business online for a month. Just before they hang up, I ask if there is a charge. It finally comes out that the first month is waived, then it would be 14.95 per month. That's when I tell them to take me off their calling list.

This phone number has been calling for almost a week now.

Asking all kinds of information and saying something about a listing in a trade paper of some kind.

Sorry I do not know who they are, I told them if I get any new customers from them I would call back and hung up the phone and they still call.

Probably to find out what time I am home to sale my phone number to some one else saying he will be there at this time.

i got a call from this phone and i think they're trying to make you change phone companies, if you are with att like me they call you to make you say yes, they record it and they got you, on your next phone bill you get a big statement with crazy charges from a new ither international or local phone company, it's only a trick, they are trying to rob you, be carefull.

about an hour earlier got a call from 313 491 1339 regarding verifying information for your free yellow pages listing. Not knowing who they are I did verify anything. then an hour later this call comes in from 800 695 5421 wanting to verify information.

i just got a call from the same # .. i called them back qand told them remove my # from there calling list and if they call again there going to get a big o bit of me... not what they  want.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number: 800-695-5421 and looked up your background.  I called it back to see what is was. They said I had a listing on the yellow pages and since it was getting clicks, they wanted to make sure I renewed it.  Well, since I DON'T have a business, I told them that wasn't possible...   They asked for the phone number to check their records.  When they didn't find the number in their records (but they just CALLED ME!), they tried to get me to give them my home number, or a different phone number.  I wasn't about to do that.  The person went round and round..... I told them not to call me again, to ever use my phone number; they said they could never have called and would never again, because the number wasn't in their system.....

Opps!!! My Bad. I meant the FTC, not the FCC. I am sure the FCC is a fine government agency.

I have been getting numerous calls from them and a whole lot of other of these crooks. I don't answer the phone. Everyone complains that they answer and there is no one on the line - they just hang up. That is because that there is no one on the line. It is a robo-call. A computer is calling you to see if you answer the phone. It hangs up on the 4th ring so answer machines don't pick up. It doesn't cost them a penny to do this. It keeps track of when you answer the phone and generates a database of the best times you will be home so one of their live spokeshole phone w***es can call and harass you. I have sent numerous complaints to the FCC and they are totally worthless - a bunch of federal employees sitting around doing nothing but collecting a paycheck and waiting to retire on their fat pensions. What you want to do is share your grief with someone - like your U.S. senators and congressmen. Next time I get a call from one on these pond scum maggots, I will be calling my CA senators, Diane "The Curse of the White Pearls" Feinstein, and Barbara Boxer. Tell your senator's intern who answers the phone that you are being harassed by these solicitors and that the FCC will not take action. Tell them that you will be calling them every time you get a call from a scammer and waste their time until the senator takes action to get the FCC to move their federal a**.

They call and ask to speak to a business owner or manager.  I talked them a month ago...they wanted to update our local yellow page listing for FREE (yeah, right).  I told them time and time again I was not interested.  Now they called back asking for someone else.  He was not in and they wanted to know when to call him back.  I told them not to call that he would call them back if he was interested.  The called twice today already.

they call throughout the day, i see # on caller ID, and they HANG UP... i call back (on different "blocked" line, tho seems they can id it anyway) saying they are some "Yellow Pages" wanting to update my business call.
 I want to tell them to STOP CALLING, yet i am afraid to tell them my phone number for fear that will verify the number and they will attack me even more.
  Isn't there SOME WAY OF BLOCKING THESE AND OTHER CALLS ?   Like blocking junk email?  I tried Verizon phone customer service but they hve no IQ.  I do report frequently to www.donotcall.com  but doesn't seem to work.

Caller has called many times and hung up. I suspect them to be solicitors. I have had may calls from yellow pages solicitors lately.

They've called us twice today...on our fax line. Sucks to be them, really...they get to enjoy a very loud obnoxious noise in their ears.

For the past 3 weeks, they have called 2 times a day (except weekends).  They never leave a message.  I am also on the Do Not Call list and find this very annoying.  Are they really from the yellow pages or are they just spoofing us?  What is their purpose?

This # calls 2-3 times a day. "Free" yellow page ad that will be billed to your monthly phone service. On do not call list and have requested several times they take # off their calling list. My call blocking is not working and Verizon refused to block # for me. I have contacted Do Not Call Registry and FCC.

Several calls per day over past several weeks?ans. machine not on, so no message left, but caller ID rats them out of course.
Calls in the evening arrive @ the same time, so when I?m starved for entertainment, I pick up phone, say nothing, let MY background noise (TV, volume turned up) entertain them until someone speaks. I have issues with phone courtesy to begin with, such as, when YOU call ME, you ID yourself FIRST, then ask for the person you?re calling. When they ask for ?[whoever]??it?s been different every time, I ask ?Who?s calling? What?s this in reference to?? and based on as much of the language as I could understand confirmed that this was also from some sort of Yellow Page service. They ask me questions (?Is this [name of person, company]??), I stonewall them, and just broken record ?You?ve got the wrong number? they ask if this is a business, I reply ?You?ve got the wrong number?? and so it goes until they hang up.
OK. I have no life, but I?m wasting their time. Yippee. Eventually I?ll get bored and tell them to knock it off then report them.
Sometimes I will tell callers not to call back again, and give them the warning that if they do, I will consider it threatening, harassing, and possibly obscene and tell them that I have a police whistle on hand, ?the better to deafen you my dear?? and I WILL use it. Hey. I warned them.
