The company has been dialing for over eight years, and they only dial opt in data.  If they were dialing the do not call list like you liars claim, they would be gone.  The law suits you claim were not against them.

I got a call from Kathy with the identical message transcribed above: "Hi, this is Kathy with Financial Freedom... etc."  All of you on this web site are doing a wonderful job trying to stop these crooks.  The combined effort is so good that you probably are stopping a lot of financial and identity theft.  Congratulations.  Next I will follow your suggestions.

Just got an automated call from these people, with the automated message someone transcribed above.  When I called them, another automated message falsely claiming I could dial 1 to be removed from their list.  I dialed 1, another automated message that no one is available.  I never applied for a loan and wonder how they got my telephone number.  This company claims to be non-profit, but they are obviously a bunch of crooks, Automated messages are illegal, and that should override their claim to be non-profit.  I note the last call reported here was in 2008, so everyone before me may have kept them silent for a few years.  Please, all you victims of disturbance through your telephones, please try to put them out of their phone call business.

Unwanted call regarding our approved loan amount. Same deal we have until 10pm today to call and take advantage. Same person, Kathy.

I got a call from Cathy and it went to my Google voice mail, I find it interesting that so many people have gotten calls from her and they all seem to be different companies.

I received a call from 786-358-5583 and had the same message from Cathy/Kathy.  Here is their Better Business Bureau listing.

Don't fall for the previous 3 posts, obviously the same loser posted under different names.  You apparently have a psychotic problem since you can't remember your name.  How about coming clean about your SCAM, huh?  The Feds are onto you whether you like it or not.

Thanks to all those other posting comments.  I have put everything together and will never answer calls on my work telephone # from this company.  I don't know how they got my # but I won't give them the time of day.  FYI, I also posted a reply on the bulletin board for 786-358-5583 just a few moments ago.  Pays to cross check telephone # and Google helped me this time!

I got a call from 3604613752. I called back. I waited lIke  5 minutes and then I said "your party is not answering, we're sorry please try again later 059t." or something like that.

They just call me with the same offer, but they are calling from Florida now ph# 786-358-5583. Are these the same people from Raleigh? Does anybody know?

This company, the Debt School, Financial Freedom, SouthEast trust, and CornerStone Financial are all a bunch of scam artists.  They call you when you are in need, and they want you to agree over the phone to a great way to lower interest rataes on your credit cards, then they ask you to agree to the upfront fee, which you do becuase its such a great deal, then you get the paperwork in the mail and it matches nothing what was spoken about.

The salesman, Michael Lewis, cons you into thinking you are going to pay your cards off in 58 months.  BUT DO THE MATH PEOPLE!!  your better off paying more to your cards.  they want hundred up front and $59 a month.  As a service!  

Run, dont walk from SouthEast Trust, The debt school, cornerstone financial, financial freedom and whatever name they go by!!!

Also cross-reference it with 786-358-5583 AND 786-401-8418 AND 800-706-6208 ... I have just filed an Arizona AG complaint, this is the third time these scammers are trying my area with these phone numbers.  I too am on FCC and state don't call lists, and never gave my number to anyone except family.  

The AZ AG actually does try to follow up complaints, unlike the FCC.

Finacial Freedom called with the same automated message from Cathy with the callback number of 1-800-706-6208. Caller ID number was 786-358-5583. I called that last one where you get a message that if you want to be removed from their call list, to press "1". To speak to someone, press "2". Guess what I picked. Supossed to be removed from list within 72 hours. If it's automated, why not right now? It's a big load of hooey!

Recieved this same message as well..funny thing i don't know how much further down you can consolidate 1 credit card and utility bills..friggin scammers

I got the call from Cathy with the same voicemail as given in another post. I could use their debt relief offering of 1.5% if they are legit..

Okay, what part of this is a scam? My wife is enrolled with them. They made it perfectly clear when she signed up that th3e deposit was non-refundable IF YOU DIDNT COMPLETE THE PLAN. They made it perfectly clear when she signed up that there was a monthly processing fee. This whole list is exclaiming "they are a scam!"  - as far as I can see, they never lied about any of the things you're talking about. Did they illegally charge you? If you didn't think it was a goos deal then why would you sign up? Sounds to me like you just decided to back out of your agreement with them, and when they said, "okay, but then you'll lose your deposit", which they made clear that you would if you back out, you decide to scream scam! I challenge ANY OF YOU on here to tell me one thing they did that was not legal or was somehow disingenuous on their part.

Constant recorded message wanting to loan me money, unrequested and unwanted.  No part of the recorded message allows me to opt-up of future calls.

When I call the number back to be removed, I am prompted to press #1 which I do & then I get YET another recording & it asks for the phone 10 digit # to be removed. Enter it & it tells me the number is not a valid # to be removed, how about that the idiots call me & then when I call to be removed they tell me the number is valid, what a scam.

I just got a message left on my UNLISTED CELL PHONE from these crooks, identifying themselves as "Cathy" from "Financial Freedom." They're breaking so many laws just by making that call that it's a given that their intent is to defraud anyone foolish enough to deal with them.

You can do what I did.  I keep faxing them complaints every time they call.
Use up their printer.

Recently changed to a new phone number. Been receiving calls and even a couple of letters of this nature more frequently. All ask for information and/or money up front. Some claim Government affiliation.

Good this forum is available. If I don't know the company or didn't request information from the caller or sender I ignore them.

I received a call and have been looking at these posts and I'm wondering what the scam is too. so far, everyone just got a call and the only person who gave their info to them just did it and only knows it's a scam thru these posts...so someone...what's the scam?
