Hung up when I answered it.

This shmuck has called me a number of times. I never answer it cause they don't leave a message. It is really beginging to annoy me!

these losers called and left the F word on my answering machine   I mean who does that?  very mature people there they should be proud of themselves.

We have a small business, these people have called every single day for the last 4 months.  They are relentless.  They do not even ask for anything.  They do not leave a message either.  Just call and hang up.  What is the deal???  When I call back to remove our name from their call list, it says it is the community welfare service and trust me, their mailbox is ALWAYS full.  What a scam. What do they want?  Does anyone know how to get these people to stop calling?  I am beyond annoyed.

When I asked who was calling they told me the VFW of South Dakota.  Then they asked how I was enjoying the sunny weather.   Funny that it was cloudy and raining at the time.  I'd like to know if these people are really calling from South Dakota or not.  Maybe they should check weather.com before they call somebody.  Then he said, "sounds like you're as happy as a tornado in a trailer park".  What is that suppose to mean?  ...and does he really expect I'll "donate"  my hard earned money after a comment like that.  I think not.

They call and ask for my husband and then I tell them he is my husband and they say they will call back. I tell them I am his wife and ask who is calling.  They finally say Community Welfare Services and I ask them to take me off their list. They then say they will and that person did not know that we wanted off the list.  I told them last time it is because someone different calls every time and they do not actually take us off the list as requested.  When calling the humber back the voice mailbox is always full.

Phone rang twice then they hung up when I answered.

This number has called 4 times now. They never leave a message. Today I called back and their voicemail box was full, and the message literally said: "Thank you for calling. The voicemail box for is full. Please hang up."

No clue who it is. Caller ID reads "800 Service".

I just called this companies alternative number which is a 651 number out of the cities in minnesota. And it is an organization that gets donations for all the VFW's in Minnesota. At least that is what the gentleman that I spoke with said to me. Not sure why the name community welfare services comes up???. So he said they usually only call once or twice and then do not call again and if they do tell them you are not interested!!.  Good luck all but just wanted to pass this info on as it seems to be another one of those donation places calling!! Do people actually donate anymore???.....as I am not in a position to thats for sure!! with this economy cannot imagine many are in a position to!!.

Answered and they hung up - can't they be reported to do not call? Gonna try it!

We have had this number several times with no answer or message.

Received a call from this number at 2:30 PM today, SUNDAY?????? (Who would make these calls on a Sunday?)
I didn't answer the call and no message was left.

We get calls at least once a day from this number . When answered there is no-reply.

We get a call from this number regularly.  Very annoying.  Cannot get them to stop.  It seems to be some sort of computerized calling system.  I found that if I pick up the phone and immediately hit the mute button the line stays active and no sound comes from the other end.  I went and watched TV for 20 minutes and came back and the line was still active with no sound whatsoever.  I will do this from now on if I don't need to use the phone because it is on their dime.  We'll see if this works.

Just received a call from this number. Pleasant young man asked for "Gordox". OMG, really. Told him there was no such person, then he asked for the person in charge of financial decisions for the company. Told him our company did not accept any outside solicitations, and to please see our website for a Request For Proposal.

Then I had our IT department block the number.

I googled Community Welfare Services, and got this number 651- 738-1328

Called our business and promptly hung up when we answered.  SUPER fun dealing with inconsiderate people such as these.

I got a phone call, asking for money for the Rochester, Mn.fire department. But it was not a call from Minnesota. So why, do the telemarkets call?

No one there when answered phone. No dial tone so it was not a hang up.

Caller as for donations to fireman's fund.  Was very rude and hung up.

Caller asked to speak to my dead grandpa-- he has been gone for over 20 yrs. I asked him to place us on the no call list and he refused saying he wasn't a sales person when I asked him not to solicit he hung up on me

Caller asked for money for local VFW...reassured me the money would go directly to the South Dakota VFW.  I mentioned I was on the "DO NOT CALL" registry and he said his group was exempt.

I asked him to remove my name from his list...we'll see...

Continues to call, they hang up on the fourth ring.  They continue to call us, we are on a "Do not call list"

I have been receiving calls from this number also. Now when I see this number listed on my Caller ID, I don't even bother answering the phone. It is almost as annoying as the pre-recorded calls that starts out "Visa and Mastercard users... I hang up on that one too!!

I have had this number on my caller ID for almost a month now. I tried calling the number back and received a voice mail message that said, "If you are calling this 800 number back then it was a non profit or charitable group calling. If you need to reach someone direct call CWS at ###-###-####."
