You call people theives and that they ask friends/relatives to lie for them but if you read these posts an employee of this company admits to lying for their 'safety'.  

I dont think it is too much to ask that a company who is supposed to be reputable act reputable.   Calling people that are not associated with or responsible for the car shows desperation and a lack of skills.  Otherwise they could find the guilty in the 1st place.

Repy to all.....  maybe you guys should look up what a "skip tracer" is .  This would give you a better understanding of who these people are.  Just like you these people have a job to do.  Skip tracers are hired by your banks and CU's and insurance companies to "skip" you down, should you have a delinquency on your car loans and locate you or contact you so the banks can get their collateral back.  If you dont pay your car payment, the car gets repo'd everyone and their dog knows this.  If you cant afford it then simply surrender it and be done with it.  With all these tote the note places out here now theres no way that you wont get back into a vehicle.  Quit crying about a freaking phone call and pay your loans off.

Its funny how people want to sue, for unfair practices with any collection agencies, I wish every financial institution would sue these people for deliberately  getting loans and not paying them, the banks don?t owe you nothing!! I deal with people who have fallen on bad luck and have decide to not take care of their financial responsibilities, so its up to me per my clients to find them. That?s what I do, I find them I don?t threaten them I tell them the truth. There are different laws in different states, just depends on who I am looking for. Banks can  sue in any state, its called a Writ , some banks can have your registration flagged and you can?t registered any car till you return the one that?s being looked for (FL), and depending on how much the unit is worth and how far your bank wants to go  they can pursue and its a felony (Tx).. I am just saying.. I have never used unfair practices, but I have sent repossession agents to get cars that are 6 months to years passed due. I don?t apologize for getting your car while you are at work or at the grocery store even while you are at the doctor?s office with your family. If you?re sick, don?t have a job, or just can't pay for your car, give it back. Just because you have ran into financial problems doesn?t mean the banks have to give you a free car and per that contract you didn?t read, they don?t have to work with you. Did you know that most banks give you 60 days before they even consider repossessing your car? Have integrity and character and pay what you owe or suffer the consequences.. If people did not think they should get something for free there would not be a problem. Yes it is illegal to threaten any kind of action you do not intend to take. Yeah, they messed with a thief who took property from a lender who trusted them and then kept it as if it were thier own. Some people would call that stealing. I, for one, would have disowned my kids if they stole property like that. They were taught to do the right thing even if it hurts. Well, I don't work for this company, yet. I am interviewing. However, for the sake of clarity I need to state for the record that this is not my first rodeo. I've been at the asset recovery game for well over 10 years.

Sites like this allow thieves to vent their rage over being hunted for taking and keeping a lenders property. The reality is that you folks are thieves plain and simple. No more and no less.

The contract nature of the loan means that the law refrains from getting involved. The law favors the thief in this instance and makes it difficult for a lender to recover what is rightfully thiers.

I am near 60 years of age now and remember having my rear end tanned for stealing when I was a child. It taught me to avoid stealing and made me own up sometimes to things I would prefer not to have to own up to. I passed this on to my children and get terribly angry whenever any one of them engage in illegal conduct.

Today people think they are 'entitled' to steal. There is no longer any moral rule to do the 'right thing.' The rule now is to lie, cheat, steal and GET YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL. Even your children are being taught that it is 'ok' to steal from a lender.

If I had my druthers ALL of you would go to jail for a minimum of 5 years so you could reflect on your ways. Since that is NOT the case there will always be a position for me looking for you thieves and the property you stole.

If you get a call that is not for you then simply let us know. A reputable employee will stop calling you (unless we have reason to believe you were less than truthful). We are not out to hurt the innocent - we are out to hunt the thieves who steal other peoples property and then think it is ok to hide it and keep it from the rightful owner.

Take it from someone who has been there - your thievery will catch up with you one day. May be through your children becoming the same thief that you are - or worse.

I guess you are too busy L.O.L to comprehend the topic or the law  which is the (Debt Collection Law).  Which was established for these exact reasons. You are right, about one thing you do have a right to collect a debt owed to you but, collect it legally

I have received several messages from "Charice Aday" and after investigating the company I called her back. I told her if she needs to contact me she can do it by mail. She got very anxious and said "no I do not need to contact you by mail" I told her then if she continues to harrass me on my cell phone I will file charges against her personally and she said "You have a nice day".  If she calls just be agressive right back to her. Don't give her an inch. These people are criminals and deserve to be treated as such.  Felt pretty good frustrating and scaring her as I'm sure she frustrates and scares people all day long. What a sick pathetic woman.  Don't let these people frighten you. They have no power and if any action was being taken against you than you would have been notified by mail not by a voice message.  The funny thing, The car they are trying to "Collect" is sitting in my drive way begging to be picked up. The engine blew on it or I would drive it through Charice Aday's office and toss her the keys.

My GRANDCHILDREN were threatened today by an idiot w/ Matthews&Michaels. Their "investigation" had nothing to do with them (grandchildren). Investigation had nothing to do with me.  They are very young children and you better believe they messed with the wrong one this time!

I also got the same call from 2143282122. She said she was an investigator, she told me that someone had did an insurance claim on my car and wanted more info... the funny thing is when she couldn't get a hold of me, she some how found my boyfriends name, and number. When she called him she told him that she had contacted someone who new that he and I where dating and went online to search and found two people with the same name where i lived and called. When he told me about it i called the number and the lady answered "Mathews and Michaels". So I looked them up and i couldn't find a website for them. All i found was a couple of numbers and the address. The address is in Texas and I live in Florida something isn't right.

I received a call from 214-438-8520 asking me to call 800-710-2122 x225 looking for my daughter. I contacted my daughter and learned they have now called 6 of her relatives, and her, asking for $ for her ex-husband's car payment. She has been divorced from him for over 10 years! This is harassment and must be stopped. How do we do that?

ok, so get this . apparently these guy's are trying to harass people by reaching deep into some old info . the bank in which my sister has a truck loan was showing that this vehicle was uninsured from the first day of the loan aproximately 7 months. instead of trying to contact my sister directly for what ever reason , they tried contacting my ex-wife of 20 years ago looking for her . the loan and my sister are in new mexico, my ex lives in south florida. now thats pretty messed up.

I called the number back. The recording said it was a company called Matthew and Michaels LLC. They called my mothers # who I havnt used for at least 5 years. I'm pretty sure it is a scam, so I would just advice, do not give them any info. I have no debt and there is no reason for anyone to be contacting me at my mom's home phone.

Pay your bills and you won't get those type of calls from Investigators looking for you. It's sad that people can't just be honest. Integrity means nothing these days. It is so sad.

THEY ARE NOT CROOKS OR SCAM ARTIST IF YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH CORRECT YOU'LL FIND OUT THEY ARE A REPO COMPANY. ACTUALLY AN INVESTIGATION COMPANY THAT SPECIALIZE'S IN REPOSSESSION'S. THATS WHY YOU GET THEM CALLING AND SAYING THEY ARE "INVESTIGATING" A "CASE" ALL LEGAL BY THE WAY IN ALL 50 STATES.

I have ben sitting here reading all of these posts and decided to put in one. Please take time to read this. Matthews Law firm is not the company calling people. It is a company called Matthew and Michaels LLC. They are a DBA (doing business as) for a company called Nae-mo. That company is owned by a private investigator named Patrick Baird. You can look at his website, "the Candid Private Investigator" to see that his company was sued by AT&T and AT&T won. Also, 12 other companies were sued, but they did not call you.  He tries to sound concerned about privacy issues but clearly did not properly train his staff. There are several entities people can contact to file complaints, lawsuits, and charges against this company. Most have already been named, so I will not repost them, just read the thread. I just wanted to give you some information that I had not seen on here.
