Okay, so I read elsewhere in this thread about calling the 1-800-989-5907 number.

I did that just now and spoke with a lady named Margaret.

She explained that the terms of the "membership" would have been indicated in the contract "I agreed to" when I signed up for the Acaiburn trial. She said the $9.95 was a monthly membership for which you RECEIVE NOTHING other than the right to visit a web site and get free recipes, etc. for dieting.

She goes on to say that she has canceled my membership and that no future charges will post to my account. I confirmed--politely--that that wouldn't be an issue since I'd already reported my card was lost/stolen and the number won't work anyway.

She then tells me the $9.95 is no-refundable, per the terms of the contract. I remained calm and asked how that could be possible given that the charge JUST posted to my account this afternoon.

She then agreed to process a "courtesy refund" since it was clear I didn't want the product.

I for one will be reporting this scam and the Acaiburn scam to the MA Attorney General's office in the hope that they can take action against the companies concerned. I encourage those of you from other states to do the same.

I was just told by someone from my Credit Union that I had a charge of $9.95.  If you are persistent and ask to speak to a supervisor, they will refund your money, don't give up.  Its a freaking scam!!!

This came from an order I did for AcaiBurn.  I cancelled it but the $4.95 and $10.03 charges showed up on my bank account. The $10.03 was fro membership Weight Loss E Book Package that came with the AcaiBurn.  You have to call 1-800-989-5907 to get this cancelled too.  Be sure to ask about the $4.95 Web Access fee too and get it cancelled also.  They give no refunds.  I will not be ordering anything like this over the internet again!

So, I got charges from this company and didn't sign up for anything online at all.  I'm not sure how they got my CC number.  Since I couldn't get any information from their automated response, I marked them as fraud and cancelled my credit cards.  can't charge money from a credit card that has been labeled as compromised.  Hopefully my bank and Visa can shut them down.

If you ordered the free trial of ACAI Burn, you'll also have the same $4.95 and $9.95 charges show up on your account.  These companies have numerous partners and no, they don't have a list of them or their ph. #'s for you to contact them.  Be sure to read the terms and conditions.  There will be at least two of these partners with offers in the terms and conditions and when you purchase or try "whatever", then you also agree to the other partners products and charges.

Signed up online at Free Govt Grants 10 days ago (can't believe I did that!!!) and now got a pending charge by the same 800-# for $29.95 - aargh!  The voice mail at the 800# says the same "Wait 48 hrs for posting ..." What a  scam!

I BETTER STOPPED BEING CHARGED FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I WILL SEEK LEGAL ACTION.

I want NO MORE charges taken out of my account for any reason or I will pursue this legally.

I got charged twice on my Credit Card without me giving them authorization. When I called it was a recording. My Credit Card Company said that it was cleared from my account, but it was not it was charged without my authorization now I can't find out who this company is I do not know who Fraud Protection is and I have not given them authorization to do anything on my Credit Card.

STOP CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD OR I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION YOU HAVE NOT RIGHT TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD AT ALL. I DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO CHARGE ANYTHING.

I have seen a charge on my credit card for 6.99 to this number. I have no idea what it is about!

i have been charged 29.95 twice and 4.95 oncce, for something ii have no idea what it is. how do i make it stop?

Stop taking money out of my account. I phoned last week to stop the 9.95 and the 4.95 USD that you have been taking. I now see you have taken it again. Please refund  the $9.95 USD and don't take any more. I'm fed up with these companies that just keep taking money. I didn't want to be a member I only ordered the tea to try it and it wasn't a sample . I paid a lot of money for the 3 months supply. I think it is rubbish and a rip off. And to have to keep making phone calls to the USA from Australia to try to cancel is outrages.If this doesn't stop now my bank is going to take it up.

I got a couple calls, but then i noticed the 29.95 charges...the 9.95 charges...and then 4.95 charges...i called the number and got an automated message....same thing happened to a freind of mine at work too...both showed as pending payments and then the 800 number...i had to get a new card....

I was charged twice on the same day for 59.95, and I called my credit card company and they couldn't even give me the merchants name. All it said was pending payment. I couldn't believe this credit card company said that I needed to call the merchant myself and tell them thatI did not authorize any purchases.  I called the FBI and they said that the credit card company is responsible for getting my money back.  I called the cc company and now I have to write a dispute letter so they can take care of this problem.  Have you heard of acaiburn.  Well that's the company that did this.  I will never ever do that again.

DO NOT CALL THE 1-800-712-7222!!!! If you do an additional charge of $9.95 will be charged to your card!  Call your bank and report the fraud.  Cancel your card and get a new one.

I also got charged some bogus charge of 4.95 and the charge info just says CHECKCARD PENDING PAYMENT 8007127222 on 02/07/09. I googled the number and got this site so i started calling numbers. First number was 1-866-449-5567 for WUYI Tea which i have never ordered. I called them and they checked their database and they found nothing on my name or bank account so they gave me another number 1-800-659-3588 but they are closed on weekends so i have to wait. This blows!

I order this diet pill called Acai-burn from online and only thing I was supposed to be charged for was 4.95 for shipping...but now I check my account and someone has charged me 59.95 and reading everyones comments I bet that charge came from them guys..the pills came in a brown, bubble envolope and it said it came from some army base...

WELL THIS WORK THIS WAY IF YOU ORDER THE (DIET THAT IS FREE TRIAL) YOU WILL KEEP GETTING THIS CHARGES IS LIKE A PACKAGE WITH DIFFERENTS CHARGES ....  GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE. AND REMEMBER DO NOT BUY ANY MORE PRODUCTS LIKE THIS.

For the record, I did not order any tea. What I did do was order product from Acaiburn--their free trial--back in January. Within 14 days of placing that order I was charged $59.95 which they claim was in the small print. It must have been invisible ink because I didn't recall seeing that.

In any event, after getting in touch with that company, getting an RMA number, and send it back via UPS (to an address in Des Moines, IA) I got my money credited back 2 days ago. So no further problem with them.

But then tonight I'm checking my account and see a $9.95 charge from this new company. The toll free number 800-712-7222 was displayed beside the charge but the recorded message states it is an automated system and says no further details are available.

What??? So I call my bank and do two things:
1. Report my credit card as lost and cancel it so the number is now useless; no future charge can be made to it.
2. Dispute the $9.95 charge. I'll be hearing from their dispute team in due course.

As everyone has said, this is all one big scam. Buyer beware!

I bought an item for $1 friggin dollar and the next thing I know I have a $30.19 charge on my card.  The card is my college debit card and almost sent me into overdraft fees.  You are a third rate thief and should be ashamed that you steal honest, hardworking peoples money.  The item was a Government Grants Fund package that I never agreed to buy.  Way to rip off us off during a recession, like we don't have enough issues without some idiot company stealing from us.

Has debited money from my checking account using six different transactions in month of February. Three transactions for Government Funded Grants and three are for Cross-Border fees. I need help identifying and contacting this company.
