I did the same thing .. . reserved it, THEN researched, then realized it was a scam, then tried to cancel , then was rejected, then file dispute with my credit card company, then wrote to BBB, then to the Florida consumer agency.  this all started 10/7/08, today 12/26/08, looked at my account and saw my money refunded.

I was transfered to a help line after calling one of their ################### trying to get the damn faxes to stop then I found that Tamara Santiago, Melissa, and Doug Clark all work there.  The person always says that they are in Cancun  LMAO  I have a surprise for them I just have to put it together and when I find out where they are I will let everybody know.

Had a faxes sent to me, booked a package for $1396.00.  Then could NOT get the dates promised at the hotel promised!  This is a TOTAL SCAM, this has
got to stop!  They will not give me my money back for the package I booked
for my family.  Very rude, spoke to Mary...lied about what I was going to be

The entities responsible for the faxes are unlawfully holding themselves out as "CheapTickets" and "CheapTickets Cancun", resulting in consumer confusion and frustration, as well as damage to the valuable "CheapTickets" brand.

Again, CheapTickets, Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. and Travelport, Ltd. are in no way affiliated with these parties. CheapTickets has undertaken efforts to identify the responsible parties and is pursuing legal remedies against these parties. We recently secured the transfer of several "cheapticketscancun" domain names in an arbitration proceeding before the National Arbitration Forum, in an effort to stop the unlawful and wrongful use of these domains by others to sell travel packages.

The more complaints, the stiffer the penalties. The Attorney General's office is seeking a permanent injunction against Travelcomm prohibiting it from violating Florida statutes regarding sale of travel and seeking restitution from Travelcomm for persons injured by their actions.

The sales people  use the names Doug Fletcher, Esther Williams, Lamar, etc.

As of April 21, 2007, Fletcher's cell phone showed up first as 703-786-9999 which is in Arlington, VA and is a Sprint Cell Phone. But he called me later on the same day (April 21, 2007) and the callerID shows up as 407-226-1105 but that number is disconnected (at 4:20pm). So they are doing something to forge their callerID each time they call you.

Get this fax numerous times per week. I called the reply number 1800-713-7907, it was answered "reservations, this is (name)".  Obvious scam. I am looking for real vacation deals, wish it was true.

Received the fax every week.  Repeated requests to remove fax number were not honored. Cannot identify the fax number sending the fax.

I called the 800 number and told the rep that I will fax their notice to their voice line 1,000 times a day until they remove my number.  Maybe if everyone does it, they will stop the bs.

They call on daily basis, several times a day, offering vacation packages. The reply number is 1-800-713-7907. The worst thing is that sometimes they call as early as 7am and as late as 12am.

Got a fax in my workplace mailbox, same phone number - stated it was from Human Resourse Dept. - corporate deal, final notice, whole deal.  Called HR - they had no clue. This is BS.
