Someone named Linda Target called.  She left the same message I've been getting a few of every day for awhile.  " I'm calling reguarding your credit card balance and the minimum payments that are going up.  It's imperative that you call me back.  You now qualify for the debt reduction allowance program......"  This is eactly the same line that each different caller says.  I've written to the government, but I don't think they do anything.

This is clearly a fraudulent operation and action should be taken by State Attorneys General.

Today I got another call from this number, in fact I got two calls from a person with exactly the same voice.  The one from this number said she was Linda Park instead of Linda Target.  Same exact staement as above.  The second one from this same person said she was Sally Moore this time, and gave another 800 number.  I have received about 10 of these calls in the last week, along with most of my neighbors.  This is out of control.

Called repeatedly, on a daily basis, caller ID is all dashes or "private call", "Hello this is Wendy Park from Newco Data Incorporated.  It is imperative that you call right back about your debt reduction allowance.  Rates are going up... etc, etc"  And she gives the 800 listed.  I have heard foreign accents, Southern accents as well as "Wendy's" very nice American accent.  If you get them live, they want to know what credit card debt you have.  I just make up stuff.  Finally they want to know "the last four of your social security number".  I tell them it's in my office; can I call them back?  The line goes dead faster than you can say SCAM.

I got a call left on my telephone recorder saying it was imperative I call Wendy Parks for I was eligible for a program of assistance since interest rates were going up and I had major credit card debt.  I called the 800-716-4271 number right back, to let them know I didn't need their services, but all I got was music. (This was two days ago.)  I tried again yesterday and got the same thing.  Today, I talked to a woman who wanted to help me since Wendy was unavailable.  She asked how much credit card debt I had and said she could help me.  I told her I didn't have any debt, and didn't need to talk to her.  I hung up.    I am on the National Do Not Call list and don't know why this call was allowed to get through to me. I did a reverse lookup on the number and found this site.  I'm glad I did!

I've been reciving messages form this company for the past week, every day.  My number is also on the do not call list. Same thing, when I call them to ask off of their list, they hang up.  I finally got fed up yesterday and spent a good half hour on the phone with the FTC.  I played back the message over the phone and was informed by the FTC agent that not only was making the call a violation of the do not call registry, but leaving that type of solicitation message on an answering machine is also very illegal.  Hopefully the FTC will take action to stop this "company" as it is obviously a giant scam.  I'd suggest that any of you recieving calls file a complaint as well.  the number is 1-877-FTC-HELP.  You have to go through some fairly lengthy voice mail system promts, but its worth the couple minutes it takes to get an agent on the phone.

We live in Dayton, Nevada.  Got the same call (800-716-4271) .  I'm glad I found this forum.  I think this is what was displayed on our phone:

eConnect 562-361-1990

We got the same story on our answering machine; something about increasing credit card debt.  Company name was garbled.  Scammers for sure.

Caller ID showed Compton CA 562-361-1990 but the woman gave 800-716-4271 as the call back number which rang unanswered when I called it.  562-361-1990 went direct to garbled hold music.

After we recieved this call, I immediately went online to check out the phone number.  They say our minimum payment is going up on our credit card.  My Dad has the only credit card in the household, and he pays the entire amount off each month, so there never is a minimum amount due that is paid.  It's always paid in full. It seemed fishy to me that someone would call to inform us of this, rather than send a letter in the mail.  Until I came on here, I could only tell you the lady's name was either Wendy Park or Wendy Parks because she says it both ways in the message.  She also says that "it's imperative that we call back immediately."  And I'm glad that it's only an answering machine and not a caller I.D., as anyone that calls knows to start talking, and if we are home, and we know them, we pick up.  Otherwise, we don't.  I was glad I found this, as my dad was just going to erase the message.  Since our machine is tapeless, I cannot save it forever, so I am instead keeping a log of times, as well as dates they call.  This is the first time they have called, however, seeing all the trouble others have had, I'm definitely keeping a log.  They called here at 1:54 p.m., and we do not ever plan on returning the calls, as some of them use your recorded voice, to edit different words into an acceptance of terms to their plans, or whatever they are selling.  I luckily saw that on a news report.  Aslo, This person slurs the name of the company, and until I came here and listened to her voice while reading a post. That is how I was able to decifer the name of the company.  I have also just finished filing a complaint on the National Do Not Call List.  You will find a link there just above my post.

This company has been calling 2 or 3 times a day since April 22nd. I have tried to call them back to tell them I am not interested and I can't seem to get them to answer the phone. I just filed a complaint against them on https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx because I am on the national do not call list. I would like to know how they got my home number.

I had 2 voice messages within about 3 hours of each other.  They had the exact same message except it was two different people claiming to be from 2 different companies.  Repeated - "it is imperative you call back".  This phone number was Wendy Park of Newco Data Incorporated.  The other phone number was (800) 713-8059 and it was Edwin Romero from Credit Development Corp.  I'm in North Carolina.  I have no intention of returning either call.  I have filed a complaint on both numbers with the DoNotCall Registry.

I have been getting the same "imperative" type call from, well, I think it is New Credit, Inc, but the woman, Wendy Park, does not articulate well.
I get virtually the same call also from Consumer Acceptance Corporation at 800-717-0189.  Also, Sam ABbot with Executive Direct Solutions, 800-710-4895, and also Chris Young with Multi Credit Solutions, 800-709-8793.  Despite the different corporate names and phone numbers, they all give the same speech about debt reduction program and repeating twice that it is "imperative" that I call them back.

We are receiving robo-calls from Cindy Park.  The message is imperative that we must call 800-716-4271 to reduce our debt.  We are on all of the do-not-call lists and it now doesn't seem to discourage the telemarketers.  I tried calling the number back, there was no answer and no voice mail message. We are in CT.

I received yet another imperative message (4 over the last few days). This time from Wendy Parks: "...imperative that you call me at 800-716-4271 regarding credit card balance.."

I  called Digitcom at (800) 464-5446 and, as an introduction, told them I was no the Do Not Call list and yet one of their customers was calling me.  The man who answered wearily asked me by number, told me he'd block my number and hung up.

I received a call from "Wendy Park" informing me that my "minimium payments are going up" and that I was eligible for the "Debt Reduction Plan" and that it was imperative that I call her at 1-800-716-4271.

After checking this website I didn't bother to call her back.

Caller ID said: ECONNECT NETWORK 562-361-1990.

I Googled "Econnect Network" and found that "Wendy Parker" is probably "Susan Parker".  She looks like a busy girl.  See:
http://sec.edgar-online.com/2003/03/27/0001116502-03-000462/Section10.asp

We need to find a way to charge people like this for calling into our homes - that would shut them up.

Oh Where, Oh Where,..is Wendy Parks.  Got a phone call from Wendy Parks on 4/25/08. Same scenario..When I called back Wendy Parks to inform her about how "imperative" it was that she shouldn't be calling me since I'm registered on the do not call list..they hung up. So I called back again.. they hung up and I called again...they still hung up...
Hope Wendy Parks isn?t working on commission!

I've also filed a complain with donotcall.gov

Same number and song-and-dance on my machine today. I did try to call back to see who answered, but, hey, it was Friday a little before 5:00. Why would even the busy Wendy be at work?

I'm reporting them to the do not call list.

Same call as others.  1-800-716-4271 - Left a message that bout credit card minimum payments going up and it was "imperative" that we call back for debt reduction.  Caller was Wendy Park but couldn't understand name of business.
Number that showed up on my caller ID was 908-842-8166 and just said "California Call."

Filed a complaint with donotcall.gov and recommend anyone who gets these calls to do the same (as suggested by previous posters).
