I am getting calls on my cell phone from 1-800-720-1407. My phone is registered with "Do not call" !

It's a "free" solar power offer for your home.  "FREE" means, "not have to pay for it." Right?  Wrong.
This is a scam out of Nevada.  They also have an email SPAM that's floating around out there.
DO MOT DEAL WITH OR EVEN TALK TO THESE PEOPLE.  Give them NO personal info !

Just got a call from this number but I don't answer any of them. No message and not calling them back. Read the reports here instead. Waste of my time.

IT IS SOLAR ENERGY. THEY WILL RENT OUT SOLAR PANELS ON YOUR HOME TO DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY BILLS YOU PAY TO THE ELECTRIC COMPANY.

I called the number back. This hotline number belongs "Solar Savings, Solar Energy".
No one picks up or answers.
I have been getting 3+ calls a day to my cell phone for the last two weeks. When I answer, the automated system (caller) hangs up.
Also, tied to 702-583-4293.

Filed a complaint with the FCC

somtimes they are constant, with calls every five minutes.

Telemarketer to my cellphone.

anyway, i filed a complaint with the FCC (http://www.fcc.gov/complaints) and will see what happens.

i called back and found that this hotline number belongs to a company called "Solar Energy".
However, no one picks up or answer.
since Monday Aug 19, 2013, i have been getting 5+ calls a day to my cell phone. when i pickup/ answer, the automated system (caller) hangs up.

not sure where, or how they got my number, but I do not own a house nor have any interest in solar panels.

someone got to stop these calls.

I get calls from this number 12 or more times per day.  STOP CALLING ME!

this may be the solar screen people. call no message. They say the person is a Personal Jack Caller.  They called twic a day then they called 4 times this afternoon.

Called my cell several times today. When I called the number back, it was answered by "Solar Sales America". I asked the rep to take me off their calling list and he said they would do so immediately. We'll see!

I definitely get the same as your problem. Try to register at Donotcall list but it won't help.

This is marketing people just keep calling many time

They call continually.  I am on the do not call list.  I bought a magic jack & give out that number, rather than my cell.  I call back the calls I wish & ignore ones like this.  They still should be sued.  Magic jack gives you caller ID & also keeps the call on your computer for evidence.  It is worth $30.00 a year to not be bothered by crank calls.  

The person who called me yesterday was watching TV & never spoke.   It is recorded on my computer.   Let them waste their time & money.

I answered...someone was there but did not respond..then got dial tone...called back got recorded message about important call and stay on line...I hang up

They have called me 7 times in the last week.  Very frustrating.  Want it to stop!

Phone rang, no one responded there when answered.

10:18 AM (PST) This # has been calling for at least the past couple days and there is nothing that can reasonably be done to stop them despite my # being in the DoNotCall.gov registry because a.) my rural area does not qualify for the screening service that would be free and require callers to dial '1' before causing my phone to ring so that time in my life is not wasted listening to dead air and dial-tones and b.) the operator at my telephone company said star 78 (*78) is the wrong # to dial and that it would have cost me to use - had it worked when I dialed it; star 98 (*98) she said, was the right (free) # to block non-800#'s, which she said cannot be blocked due to the 800 phone number - just one of hundreds of actual possible telephone numbers - being ghosted and appearing on your caller ID as (800) 720-1407.

When I called (800) 720-1407 the other day after being hung-up on by dead-air, the automated system that answered, said "Your call is important to us. Hold for the next available agent. (Piano music)"; I called twice because I was hung up-on by dead air. I called today and this time someone actually answered after the piano music. I couldn't hear the company name, but I said I was calling to have my # removed and was hung up on. I called back and Stephanie answered after the piano music this time; she answered as "Solar Savings America". She saw my # on her caller ID upon my request and agreed to remove my # from their solicitation immediately. I thanked her for fulfilling my request to be opted-out, apologized for the request and she comforted me saying "That's fine".

If you have "call rejection" on your service you can dial *78 and follow the directions to block this number

I am really getting very tired of this number and no one being on the other end. What kind of scam is this??

I just wonder what the purpose is in calling a number and then not saying anything.  What's the point?  Do they get paid for just ringing your phone, such a waste of time.

I answered the phone the man said his name was Cameron from Energy Solar and he had someone in the area stopping by to provide us a quote.  I told him NO I wasn't interested and he mumlbed something under his breath and hung up on me.

I have recieved calls from this number multiple times also and once or twice a man would say hello then nothing. Who are these people?????

They have been calling me everyday for a while now.  When I answer there is no one there.  I tried calling the number back but had a busy or out of service signal.

I received the call and did not answer. When I called the number back, I got a disconnected/busy signal. Strange...

Received calls at 12:55 and 1:07 today from 800-720-1407. First time I just didn't answer it and the second time I did. Some lady wanting me to call another number about debt. I just hung up. Then I came here once doing a google search.

Phone call from 800-720-1407, when I answered, no one responded.  I know someone was on the line but would not answer.  Got disconnect then.
