Called me several times. Sometimes an automated message that they are collecting a debt, other times they hang up. One time I answered. They were very rude, wanted me to verify my identity (which I wouldn't divulge). They demanded payment for a bill, refused to give me information on said bill, refused to send me a paper document showing who or how much. If I owed money, to a legit company on a legit bill, I'll pay, but if these creeps think I'm going to give my bank information blindly, think again. And telling me they do not have to tell me who it is from and why is against the law.

Amazingly annoying...a call twice a day? That is harassment!

Call 4 times a day. I gave no credits cards or debt at all. On the DNC list.

continue to get calls from this number several times a day, but they never say what they are calling about. and they are calling asking for my maiden name and  i have been married for 6 yrs!!!

I have tried to be nice and tell them that they have the wrong number, but they do not care!

These idiots called my mother's number today asking for me by my previous married name.  Don't know how they got her number, she didn't have it when I went by the old name.  I called them back, stupidly, from my home number.  Stated they are inquiring about a debt on a vehicle from 2001.  That vehicle was wrote off by the company and remov3ed from my credit report after 7 years.  The lady stated that it was a new collection from the company and I should check my report.  Well I did and its NOT there, so they can screw off.  NOT calling them back.  Fortunately I did not give them my new name or phone number, but figure they got it now.  Just waiting for the calls to start.  Yippee!

every day i get a call from this # with a recording asking for someone who does not live here and tell me to press 1 if I am that person and by not answing they assume I am that person and then they hang up.  They are calling the wrong # how do I get them to stop

A new trick by this collection firm...  Caller ID reads INCOMPLETE DATA.  It appears such calls cannot be blocked by existing technology and no caller id record is left on phone logs.  Their call does ring your phone, however, and they are able to leave messages.  The technology war with this scum takes another step forward.

As suggested, I sent a "cease and desist" letter certified mail - return receipt requested  - to Shuler's home.  When I checked on line, I was told that the form was not picked up.  Moreover, the post office indicates it will return my letter to me after a few more tries, and I won't have proof of delivery.  I will then be out $5.54!  Will sending the letter to his office help?  Has anyone succeeded in stopping this harrassment?  I don't owe anyone anything!

Man these people are relentless! They keep calling for all sorts of different people that DON'T LIVE HERE!!

Bad idea as blocking your number does not work when calling toll-free #'s. They will still get your calling info. If you really want to bother them at their toll-free #, download and use Skype, which is untraceable and you can make as many calls as you want to toll free #'s without buying any credit.

Has anyone had luck with putting a stop to these calls?

They keep calling me and kept asking for Elaine and i told them they had the wrong number, they asked who i was, i sadly gave them my name and now they are calling for me. They sent me a letter saying i owe a collection to my car insurance that canceled my insurance. IF the insurance agency wanted me to pay them THEY should have sent me a letter or a notification of some sort, and they have not. I put a fraud alert on my credit account, i put myself on the no call list, and i'm still recieving weird calls from EVERYWHERE. this company is a scam and they will not see a dime of my money.

Ok, this guy has been repeatedly calling my house looking for someone named "Charles Smith". We've told them countless times to take us off the list, and every time they said they would. This is the 3rd phone call I've gotten today from them.

This is Vital Recovery Services, a debt collector from Norcross, GA.

This guy called and identified himself as Mr. Freezel. He asked for a guy I know but who has never lived at my address. The more I pressed him about how he got my number as a contact for this individual the more defensive he got finally claiming that my friend gave him the number as a contact. I know this was absolutely untrue. When I said he was lying and demanded he tell me who he really was and who his company was, he immediately hung up.

i get calls from this place too but i never call back because i dont know who they are and its all automated.  i googled it to see what i could find out about it.

yeah, these bottom feeders call about every other week.... sometimes leave a message, which is mostly incomprehensible (dis be da persa dis messudge be for call da followin numba)....

I keep getting these calls all hours of the day.  When I answer there is no one on the line.  I called the number back and a "woman" was very, very rude!  Demanding to know my name and number but would not tell me what this was about.  When I told her she had the wrong person she got even more demanding and rude and would not let me speak and then hung up!!!  I filed a report with the FCC and called my local telephone service.  I suggest you do the same!!

they axed me if i o'd dem money... the said i had a car repoed... i still have all me cars... not sure what they were talking about... when i asked them what car they said they were not sure... then they hung up on me cause i would not give them my ss#... they seem like a scam... i checked my credit report and i owe nobody notin'

my number too has got calls 5-12 times per day.. no message.. no clue as to why they are harrassing my number.. Saturday, first call just after 8am est.. then 20 minutes later another..

idea.. someone is paying for their toll free number, not to mention what sounds like the overhead to support this business (and rude staff).. if everyone they are calling (and friends), as long as you "block" your number when calling their number, call their toll free number 10-50 times per day, per person, this will cost them eventually a lot of money.. remember, BLOCK your number before calling, call, let them or their machine pick up, then hang up.. this cost to them should start to add up...
