Morons call everyday!! Leave message in Spanish. I have never had a Sears or Citi account. They need to knock it the hell off! Why isn't FRAUD a call type?
Chris 2014-03-01 22:22:16 Unknown
These idiots call EVERDAY!!!! They leave a message in Spanish which is hilarious as I am no more Spanish than someone with an Irish surname! By reading other's comments, I do not, nor have I ever had a Sears card. I owe no one anything. Definitely a scam. I hope they don't get any victims. Should be stopped!

This number has called once a day for past 3 days...leaves voice mail in Spanish..something about Citi card, which I do not have. Called it back and was answered by a recording in Spanish asking me to hold for the next available representative. Sounds like a load of crap to me.

Recently they have been calling my mother saying she owes around $3,000 and her payment have been late for 41 days. How is that possible if:
1) She doesn't even have a Sears Credit Card or a job (she has been a housewife for almost 35 years)
2) Aren't they suppose to send you a letter establishing your debt or something, Ohh I forgot, when my mom ask them for her address, they knew only the FIRST WORD (and we have a veeery long address).
So, that means Citibank approves credit cards to people who haven't apply for it, or doesn't have a job, and without your entire address???? Are you kidding me! Nowdays they almost ask for your fingerprints, a sample of your DNA and the credit history for the past three generations!!! Ahh, and then, they give you a second phone # to report the fraud. When you call they said that without your information they cannot help you, so they ask you for your account #, social security, address and basically, any other information that they don't have already, but they need to rip you off!!!! The part that suck is that the number they give people is legitimate, is really Citibank. I believe that have caught some employees on this and even press charges against them, so I been told.

Same as everyone else. I got a message in Spanish I couldn't understand saying something about Sears. It obviously can't be Sears since they would do business in English first, and Sears has no reason to call me anyway. Fortunately it was on my Google Voice so I was able to block the number. There were over 100 blocked calls to my Google Voice account before they finally gave up. Obnoxious!

This is a SCAM - My wife was a victim of identy theft recently, luckily only with her Sears Card. We were issued a new card, and the only phone number was our home number. We are getting numerous calls from this number, and of all things, it is on my personal cell phone, which is in no way associated with our Sears/Citi card.
Also, I do speak Spanish, and worked several years at an inbound call center, taking Spanish calls from all of North, Central and South America. Their accent is not Mexican nor Mexican American Spanish. If I was in a court of law and had venture an educated guess, based on my experience, their Spanish is Carribean to Central American.

Tom Swirly 2013-01-15 22:41:26 Unknown
Same story as the others here. I get a truncated message in Spanish on my voice mail. My first language is English, I don't have the card they are referring to and all my credit card accounts are up-to-date.
Clearly a scam.

Must be Turd Service calling you from Central America. Too bad these freaks can't grow a spine and find a legit way to make money. They want to remain slaves to a bigger crook(s).

For the last 4 days, I get phone calls from this no. 11 times a day a more. I keep telling them i'm not the person they are looking for. The co. offers a credit card. I've told them to leave me alone, I'm an elderly woman and Juana Vargas is not my name and have no interest in applying for a credit card. They don't stop.
Unknown 2013-01-01 18:15:03 Unknown
Go to donotcall.gov and register your telephone number. After a period of time, you will have most call stopped. If they do continue to call, you may be able to sue them. This doesn't apply to charities, surveys, or businesses with which you have an estbalished relationship, or bill collectors. When they call, ask them to remove you from their calling list and to cease calls to your number. They are required by law to do so.

I also received the same call, but if it shows as 1-800-733-0814 on my caller ID, it will then leave a recorded message in spanish, but other times it shows up as an unknown number on my caller ID then someone live is on the line. One time I decided to answer this unknown number and it was a female person who spoke spanish asking for my wife. I then asked her; "Who is this speaking?" , since she never said who she was only that she was from Citibank Corp. I then told her that she was not home and if I could be of any assistance. She then said no and hung up. My wife does have a Sears Mastercard from Citibank, and she failed to give this past Novembers payment, only because she had to go out of town during that payment period and she asked me to make it for her. And sure enough, I blew it. I failed to make the payment. When she returned, I let her know what happened, and man did I get an ear full! But the bottom line is that she is only 11 days past due as of the payment due date, yet they have her being overdue by 36 days which they are full of it. Yes my wife is going to pay not only the past due amount, but the current amount as well. I don't think that they should be calling so many times during the day and night. But I've noticed that what these people really want is for you to give personal info on the phone which I do not ever do. On the December statement it already states if she does not pay soon she could lose her credit card all together; it is already currently suspended. I hope that with this payment, that the card will be reactivated again, but if it gets canceled, we don't care. We have heard a lot of negative things about Citibank and we really don't want to deal with their craziness.
Joe 2012-11-16 21:14:10 Unknown
This has got to stop. They leave a message indicating that its about the sears account. If you happen to answer their call they at times will say hello in Spanish and if you have male voice they'll hang up or ask you if "a female name" lives there. I have call the number and a female voice answers, and the first question is, what is your account number. I have asked them several times not call my number but they keep on calling. My guess is they are fishing for information from children or adults who may give out information which may be used in the furtherance of their scam, for fraud or even identity theft. Well I guess the No Call by the Government is a no problem for these scammers who don't care about the Feds laws.

These people from 1-800-733-0814 must not be invading the privacy of the people. I received more than 6 or 7 calls daily either on my home phone or my cell. Is there is any goverment agency who stop these people or company? They call and hang up if somebody answer.

I have been receiving these calls constantly for over a week now. They don't use my name, and I have told them every time that they are calling the wrong person, I have called them back and asked them to take my number off the list, my husband has called and complained. Every time they apologize and promise the calls will stop. Now that I see it's a scam I will be contacting my lawyer to try and get the calls stopped.
