Left a voicemail message that said:
"If you want to get more business... press 1"
"If you want to be removed from our call list...press 9"
It's an auto-caller.
Pure phone spam.

Just got a voice-mail from (800) 735-7146 and it looks like it was trying to sell me something. By the time my voice-mail started recording they were already into the options to press for some type of service. No idea who they are or what they had to offer but I thought it was quite comical to hear a child-like voice talking to me about doing business... hmm.. child labor on top of uninsulated phone calls? What's this world coming to in the way of cheap!!

Agreed but silent is better than a specific ring to max battery life. Also since this is a toll-free, feel free to call them from pay phones anytime (can't block your number from toll-frees).

Here is yet another b.s. number that attempts to get through to me. For the rest of you getting these types of calls on your cell phone, here is my steps in dealing with 800 numbers as well as all the rest of the non-800 #'s that are widely used today. If it is an 800 number, I puposely let it go to voicemail ... not so easy on a non-800 #, since my business does generate calls from out-of-town clients, so unfortunately I have to pick-up the phone for regular numbers. After I get no message (99% of the time there is no voicemail left), I do a Google search for the number and generally get lead to this website. After I have confirmed it to be a bogus number, I add the number to my Contacts as Sh*t Sales 1, Sh*t Sales 2, etc. etc. utilizing up to 5 numbers per Sh*t Sales entry. I then change the Ringtone for this Contact to a custom ringtone I made from an Apprentice episode (for my own humor) where Donald Trump says, "Talking about Crap that nobody wants to hear ... Who's idea was this?". You could set your Ringtone to silent or whatever you wish. At least when this number calls you again, you will not even have to wonder if it's legit or not. In my case, I have 3 phone numbers that all forward to my cell, so I get a lot of these types of illegal solicitations. There are many ways to deal with these a**les, but if you are getting calls on your cell like I do, then you may want to start adding these people to your Contacts as I have, to make things easier, as they will most likely not stop calling you. I'm not even going to waste my time attempting to remove myself from their "Do Not Call List", as I have no faith in any company honoring the rules anymore.

Another opportunity to waste our time and bother us. This is the call that leaves a message to press 1 for more info (that'll never happen) or press 9 to be removed from list (based on what I've read here, that is a totally bogus option).
